[00:02:14] in Scotland would you believe so. We've been to right here. Three more weeks Chris will be

[00:02:20] in Crete having the event there. Always good weather in Crete right? Definitely. Marius promises

[00:02:26] that. Definitely. Zingvi looking sharp my friend looking sharp. Tots life are you prepared? Are you

[00:02:34] hyped? What's going on? Well, I'm prepared and not so very hyped but interesting. It feels a

[00:02:47] little bit like a food fantasy promo. This is like kind of a cool down before the proper teams.

[00:03:00] So I'm just quietly not celebrating but it's better than last week at least.

[00:03:12] Yeah, I mean this week has been an absolute draw to having been. This has been boring. I didn't

[00:03:20] took time off. I played my seven rival matches or wins and actually then took time off

[00:03:27] but I had no desire to grind which still leaves me with a lot of packs over this week.

[00:03:33] A lot of troops blocking me opening those packs and I would like to see as a conclusion

[00:03:38] of this today showing me should I put those tubes into an SPC that's out and should I open

[00:03:45] packs or not. But let's discuss that in a moment. Chris you are already wearing blue?

[00:03:51] Feeling blue about Tots or happy hyped? For me, I'm a little bit sad because as you say it's

[00:03:58] the chance to say goodbye to your team because when we get these Tots cars we're going to lose

[00:04:02] a lot of players that we love to play with. So this for me is the end of days. I look forward to

[00:04:08] it but I'm also tensed with a little bit of sadness. No, I was just going to say it's

[00:04:12] it's the I like one of the positives is I really like the car design. I think it's really cool

[00:04:18] and I think I think this year I think the cars designs have been absolutely tremendous and

[00:04:23] I haven't seen one of these cars live so I don't know if there is any animation in those

[00:04:26] cars but I do. I think it's definitely a thumbs up for the car designers out there.

[00:04:32] Any third car design? Five out of five again? No, they're okay. I prefer the old type. There's

[00:04:40] too many colors now on this. This is more like a team of deer feeling with all the gold and

[00:04:45] everything. So this kind of for me doesn't fit the team of disease and I prefer those to

[00:04:53] be a little bit cleaner. There's too much going on on these so not a huge they're nice but I'm not a

[00:04:59] huge fan to be honest. I think they are very dark blue which normally team of the year is very

[00:05:04] dark blue and Tots is light blue. Yeah, so yeah there's too many colors too much gold and everything

[00:05:10] mixed with some bronchish tones and etc. So there's like too much going on. I think

[00:05:18] for me this year? Yeah, it takes a little bit of use for me as well. But then again I would say

[00:05:26] never again. Then again I think it's something fresh right so that's good. Tell us what's

[00:05:32] Tots life in you? What does it actually do? Well it's pretty much like with fantasy the

[00:05:39] teams that the players play for need to win two matches in the next four league games.

[00:05:45] That will give them a plus one overall upgrade so it's not a plus one in form upgrade.

[00:05:51] And the players club need to score eight goals in the next four league matches and that will give

[00:05:56] them another plus one overall upgrade. So this is starting from the next four league matches

[00:06:03] starting from Friday 19th of April 2024. So that's the live thing and some of the cards

[00:06:12] have got triple placed out plus now people will notice that and some are not so lucky and they

[00:06:17] kind of only have two. So there's that as well. Can't they get another boost I'm thinking now?

[00:06:25] Or am I reading it incorrectly? Just two boosts. Two boosts. Oh the other one is

[00:06:32] summary of of course yeah definitely. I was about to say they did a good job explaining it this

[00:06:39] time with some graphics. But then again I misunderstood so okay. That's a great start for me for this.

[00:06:50] What are you thinking of? Is that it is a fun way of ending the season? It's

[00:06:54] most seasons last only four more weeks or three more weeks I think?

[00:06:58] I really like team of the season but this live thing is not kind of it's like

[00:07:05] yeah it's for me it's not a proper start. I prefer the proper community vote to the

[00:07:12] team of season players. So that's been kind of a tradition you vote for the

[00:07:19] team of season teams. We've had a vote for Bundesliga now but from what I've understood is

[00:07:29] that's the only team of the season we get to vote for all the other ones are pre-defined so

[00:07:35] we can't have any influence on the coming team of season teams. So that's kind of a

[00:07:42] little bit of a buzz killer for me as well because it's been like kind of a tradition

[00:07:47] showing your teams the ones you voted for and discussing that. So kind of yeah it took that

[00:07:53] away from us as well. So this is kind of a it's a new start but well at the moment I'm not

[00:08:01] like super super excited yet. Oh we didn't notice that.

[00:08:12] I'm wondering though right? I was of course kidding I mean I get the voting thing I always

[00:08:18] doubted how much voting power we actually had. So I stopped doing those votes and those team

[00:08:23] selections because then you're like it doesn't matter I doubt they'll it gained some community

[00:08:29] right gains traction but I honestly didn't think we actually had some influence over it.

[00:08:34] We knew who the 11th or sorry who the 12th player would always be without those sorts anyways.

[00:08:41] I think the proper way to do this is to footies when you get the loans that's usually

[00:08:45] when I do have some feeling we do have some influence never got that feeling during the

[00:08:50] season myself so but I get that yeah it's different though. I mean it sort of excites me that they

[00:08:57] started this year a little bit different also that we knew late what was exactly coming.

[00:09:03] I didn't see any players before like I knew some players would come but it could also be

[00:09:07] estimated cash right. I saw some leaks but I didn't see the stats of course until just before today so

[00:09:18] which is always nice that you don't know team and stats like a week before it actually is

[00:09:22] in pack so that's a little bit boring so this is good. There are some changes I think

[00:09:28] from the setup I don't think we get out the EFL team of the season squad is not

[00:09:36] this year from what I've seen it's more of a mixed league thing now so

[00:09:44] just this mixed league team of the season team which will have from Eredivisia Super League

[00:09:50] Liga Portugal MLS EFL Saudi Scotland Germany second Bundesliga Switzerland Super League Austria

[00:09:57] Bundesliga Poland extra class Sweden Altsenskan and Belgium Pro League so

[00:10:05] there are some changes I am pretty sure a lot of EFL fans will be very disappointed right now.

[00:10:14] Yeah I wanted to make it so quick but I'm not because that's actually a big

[00:10:18] part of all the EFL fans and I'm not gonna go there but if it is necessarily a bad thing though

[00:10:23] because does this mean touch runs as long as they have been going on lately like

[00:10:32] last couple of years it took six weeks to eight weeks something usually I think six to eight weeks

[00:10:38] does it mean it runs shorter? No I don't think so the last the ultimate team of the season

[00:10:47] men and women's team will be in packs end of May from what I've understood

[00:10:54] because that's still six weeks. I'm one and a half months with this now so

[00:10:58] And we got twice as many players of course as well this year in back anyway. Yeah we get some

[00:11:05] men and females so it's live now and next week is Premier League and the women's

[00:11:12] Premier League and then it's the Bundesliga and the Frauenbundesliga and then it's La Liga and La

[00:11:18] Liga Feminine and then it's League A and Division 1 are Kema and then it's Serie A and the NWSL

[00:11:31] so no female Serie A type of team of season it seems and then of course it's the ultimate

[00:11:37] team of season men and ultimate team of season women that will end the team of season promo.

[00:11:44] All right I got so many questions though we got new rewards or so many things we did we got new

[00:11:49] rewards we got one more week I think for the season do we save packs what are your strategies on it

[00:11:58] watching back currently is it any good Chris where do we want to start today mate with this?

[00:12:04] I think the first thing you have to do is you have to look at what the games are coming up

[00:12:09] so for instance the B-sec card that plays for Inter Milan, Inter Milan are not in great form at the

[00:12:16] moment even though they're absolutely smashing Serie A so Jan Urro B-sec sorry if I've got that wrong

[00:12:22] 91 rated centre back but this Sunday is the Milan Derby and AC are the ones at home as well

[00:12:30] so I think you need to check that you know you look at Luka Modric as well I think he's

[00:12:34] one of the highest rated cards on there and they play Barcelona in the classical in Sunday as well

[00:12:38] so I think if you're going to look at any of these cards have a good real consideration because

[00:12:44] as Ingeby says you have to win two of the next four which you'd imagine Inter Milan will do

[00:12:48] but you also need eight goals because I think every card here needs to double

[00:12:53] upgrade I don't think there's really any cards here that don't have it if they're

[00:12:56] going to make your team in touch and I think even look at some of the range of these cards

[00:13:00] I think there might be a struggle for even to get into your card during talks but there's a few on

[00:13:04] there as say the the Kudos card looks a decent one but then you're banking on West Ham winning two

[00:13:11] games and as we know England is extremely tight league especially at the moment with

[00:13:15] relegation and teams going for the titles so for that point of view that would be my first

[00:13:20] thing we like a card go and check what the next four games are because you do need those

[00:13:24] to work it's no I don't think in these cats proper fan of the season live either

[00:13:29] no not at all this is not worth discussing just come and give me some food

[00:13:40] so that's that's the opinion of my cat sorry I agree on the Kudos card though it looks really

[00:13:49] good but the prices are gonna go like yo-yo if you buy them on the hype and then the match and

[00:13:58] if they score is going to go up if they concede it's going to go down so

[00:14:03] for me it's going to be really stressful sitting on those cards tradable because if you're afraid

[00:14:08] of losing coins then yeah those cards are not going to be fun to to sit on at least not for me

[00:14:15] if you have loads then it's fair enough then you can afford to lose 200 000 coins no problem but for me

[00:14:21] it's like maybe I should just hold off buying them at least take the ones I pack if I get someone

[00:14:30] it's I don't want that stress again with losing coins I feel like you have to look at these cards

[00:14:37] critical dude are they good enough if you want to buy them of the market are they good enough

[00:14:42] to buy them for the current price and they will not get an upgrade if that's the case pull trigger

[00:14:48] don't gamble on them getting an upgrade because you'll get plenty more

[00:14:51] high rated cards in the next weeks anyways although when I have a look at for example weaver being

[00:14:57] 20k for a five star skill move left winger or uh uh Talon uh Terrellund Talon I know but I just

[00:15:09] want to put out following us yeah being a four star skill move five star week for 22k 93 pace 90

[00:15:17] shooting 90 dribbling looks very cool card proper play styles as well yeah with finish shot plus

[00:15:25] power shot plus uh power shot normal power header normal incisive pass rapid and aerial

[00:15:33] uh yeah that's uh that's a really good card stats wise and of course she links to Ho-Lang

[00:15:44] and the other Norwegians as well so and there are some good uh good plays from the

[00:15:51] debacle is women's super league already so for that price I don't think you can go wrong

[00:15:59] uh for that card it's uh it's a really great card for the price at least

[00:16:08] sorry sorry great one moment you have uh albert from the boonersliga right winger five star skill

[00:16:15] move forced to weak foot high high fast good shot and good shooting good dribbling everything's on it

[00:16:23] 14k in v that's the one I packed the only one I packed yeah but that card is no it's not a bad card

[00:16:30] though no no it's not uh if you look at all the other play styles uh this has she has finish shot

[00:16:39] plus great long ball plus very nice chip shot power shot incisive pass whip pass first touch quick

[00:16:47] step and relentless so the all those plays that are great for a winger as well so uh and can also

[00:16:54] start as a center mid with 90 short pausing 90 long pausing and 90 vision it's like a crazy

[00:17:00] crazy card if you look at the stats though yeah and that's why I'm like I would just if you

[00:17:08] gamble gamble on the low rated cards these cards I think I wouldn't mind using five of these cards

[00:17:16] now I do think for example the uh Laia alexandri the center defender looks very good as well robinson

[00:17:25] 60k left back uh david costa actually five star skill moves so a lot of five star skill moves in

[00:17:31] this team as well which we don't see that often either um it just I'm almost inclined I don't

[00:17:37] have too much going to like 150k or something to just pick five six of them up and just play

[00:17:43] him during this weekend because they might just be overlooked already yeah that was a huge success

[00:17:49] last time you changed your team around and you were so happy that I got you to do it so yeah but

[00:17:53] that was a forced one that was a force one and I changed my whole team I mean yeah that's something

[00:18:00] about that though I did try some new plays this week and one player that really stood out for me

[00:18:06] and I know you're gonna uh you're gonna hate me but uh is lampart and linaker

[00:18:14] they've been really good for me they're always really good when I face them so yeah in the right

[00:18:19] hands those are lethal cards because the stats are really good I don't know whether it's so cheap

[00:18:24] so no so I use I packed both of them I used both of them this week I was like well actually

[00:18:30] we're in that phase that you can just put any card on any position and as long as you keep

[00:18:34] you stable then like we said last week we're in a good spot right Chris you had something you wanted

[00:18:38] to toss up but I interrupted you and probably broke a train of thoughts no I just want to get your

[00:18:44] guys opinions on the three playstyle pluses on these cards um compared to the church I came

[00:18:52] the year sorry I'm interested no because team a year we've always said are the premium cards

[00:18:56] the ones we wait for the ones that disrupt the the power curve so much but actually now

[00:19:01] you've got tox live cards who have got three playstyle pluses I think that's kind of uh must

[00:19:08] if the cards didn't have that uh I think many would consider like breaking the bank to change

[00:19:17] their teams around because the team I have now is playing so well and if the new cards

[00:19:25] didn't have three plays that plus I don't think they would kind of be a huge upgrade to what I

[00:19:30] already have in most positions so they kind of at least for me needed it to improve my team

[00:19:40] because if the card has three playstyle plus and is under two millions at least I can afford them

[00:19:47] and but if they were like three millions plus and didn't have it and not the crazy

[00:19:55] amount of boost anywhere else then why would I even consider changing my team around when

[00:20:02] when everything is going so well at the moment so there's no need to disrupt the team uh rhythm

[00:20:08] with new cards if it's not kind of special which many of these are like the lofty's

[00:20:13] G card uh with three playstyle plus uh 220k at the moment approximately and uh he has

[00:20:24] incisive pass plus intercept plus and bruiser plus great defensive midfielder

[00:20:32] I uh I agree with Envy this is what needed and I don't mind at all that it's not the

[00:20:41] team of the year cards that have to remain on top I think this fits the game better to start

[00:20:49] like halfway through you get team of the year cards which are good and which break the power

[00:20:53] curve they stay on for three more months four more months in this case and then they can get replaced

[00:20:59] but cards that are obtainable for everyone I think it's a perfect fit and I really don't mind at all

[00:21:04] I think this is perfect honestly makes me want to try players as well like that's the main reason

[00:21:09] why I tried linear curves like oh he's got playstyle plus on the power shooting for example and

[00:21:14] let's try that um yeah I kind of dig it you don't grace or no I don't I don't I hate team

[00:21:23] of the year promos well that's the best I just seriously we didn't figure that one out no no

[00:21:27] we were mentioning the GPM bingo there mentioned to me and how much I hate it but um yeah I just

[00:21:33] find it a bit strange I'll be honest with you I think maybe two or three of those cards could

[00:21:38] potentially have three playstyle pluses um but I would I don't like the fact that a lot of them

[00:21:44] have got them and not even really deserve them in my opinion and we always talk about the power cover

[00:21:50] the game and yeah I just find it hopefully they'll bring out evolutions though you know I know

[00:21:56] evolutions at the moment you're getting two max maybe they'll bring out evolutions I'll get

[00:21:59] three max that'll be a good one wait you want evolutions for cards that are already 92

[00:22:04] right 94 right down going off no well you've got the havertz card at the moment haven't you the

[00:22:09] left back one was a winter well card thing they talked my head yeah you can put that to a 92 rated one

[00:22:15] and when we talk about his objective player coming up as well that's actually it you've got that

[00:22:21] card you can maybe put them in I don't know if what card is better I think they'll probably be

[00:22:24] the best person to tell me that way the kai harvests one do you mean kai harvests one

[00:22:30] what you better do and you better mean the objective one's free anyway it's no phrase it's an sbc isn't

[00:22:35] it at 1.2 million ruffles isn't it yeah that's if you didn't have the winter wild card one I think

[00:22:42] that's a quite good option I did the evolution just like paid 100 000 coins to do the evolution

[00:23:34] so far or the season sorry not for Germany or for Arsenal so it's like really strange that

[00:23:41] EA should boost his defensive and physicals so much suddenly that's a little bit strange and maybe

[00:23:49] annoying as well kind of to tempt people more to already drop the card that just finished for

[00:23:57] 100 000 as well so it has three playstyle plus but I don't know it's annoying though for me

[00:24:07] I'm like team of the season kicks off silly season for most of me and I like this silly season far more

[00:24:13] than having roots from this throwing goal yeah that's that I can agree with of course but um

[00:24:19] but the problem with that is if you look at the the team it's out tonight there is no goalkeepers

[00:24:24] am I right in saying that there's no true but you got to check as we see this week as well and

[00:24:29] I mean I don't know but I use them still at the moment and then goes Rude and they enjoy using

[00:24:36] he's good with the ball at his feet and but I'd like to see some goalkeepers you know

[00:24:40] we're gonna have to see them anyway in the teams next week aren't we?

[00:24:43] We'll get them yeah and the pre-amplisher will get them. I think they've missed a chance here

[00:24:46] of maybe doing a goalkeeper and allow people to get ones in there too. No because the one thing

[00:26:13] Tots pack out I did check the store tonight before we came on I didn't see that which would

[00:26:17] be an absolute disaster for me if they decided ever to do that I guaranteed Tots

[00:26:22] Tots pack in the store I think that would be an absolute game changer. A little bit too early

[00:26:27] for that. No next week mate during the public week. I really hope not because I think that then

[00:26:32] it's for the promo for a lot of people I guaranteed pack there. Does it though I mean during

[00:26:38] team of the year everyone's been grinding grinding grinding we didn't pack anything lately they've

[00:26:42] been upping the pack weight on most things is it so bad that you could get them I don't know

[00:26:49] this time it matters too much anymore. Yeah I know definitely but I just think it would be a

[00:26:55] I think it's a step in the wrong direction I think it's a step towards as we say this numerous times

[00:27:00] on the show there's a step towards actual players being available in the store in the next

[00:27:04] two or three games maybe even next year. I mean I agree and I think that's the topic on its own

[00:27:11] but I mean from this point on during team of the season hits

[00:27:19] I am probably more in let's have fun let's play a lot and just enjoy all these new influx of cards

[00:27:27] and the influx of players don't forget about we got a lot of new players in as well I think

[00:27:31] or players returning. I quite enjoy the community being getting a boost and people being active

[00:27:37] and people talking about the game much more than I'm like you know what there's some greed in there

[00:27:43] they'll say enough anyways during next week I'm afraid. I certainly think they will do I mean

[00:27:50] to be fair I think the cup they put on this week you know I've been critical about the store thing

[00:27:54] but you know the cup they put on with the mystery bowl it was a good laugh you know it was a

[00:27:58] quick game and it was actually quite a good laugh and you know enjoyed it I mean I did the 10

[00:28:03] ones fairly quickly and that you know plenty packs you're getting there daily logins as well so I think

[00:28:08] you can't really say I have been stingy recently. Everybody will have you know I don't know how many

[00:28:14] people packs we've got I've got you know for 100 packs to open over the period and there'll be

[00:28:19] certainly more packs there there's player picks still in there exchanges come back definitely

[00:28:24] think they've just definitely give us a lot of packs to play with. Definitely. I think they changed

[00:28:29] rewards as well for us. Yeah for champs and they will change for squad battles and rivals as well

[00:28:37] which is nice. Yeah and pretty good as well if you get an elite you get guaranteed blueies this time

[00:28:44] around. That's nice of course. So just too bad the season resets next week. Yeah but if it's like

[00:28:53] last time then it's just you get relegated one division though so it's not that awful. Oh actually

[00:29:03] that isn't too bad. I'm guessing it's going to be the same now since they long season and just

[00:29:09] one one division relegator which I of course have complained a lot about earlier so I'm

[00:29:15] kind of expecting the same thing so in rivals elite will get one team of seasoned red pick

[00:29:21] one out of five division one will get team of the season red pick one out of four division two

[00:29:28] will get a team of season red pick one out of three division three will get a team of

[00:29:34] the season red guarantee division four will have max 90 team of the season red guaranteed

[00:29:42] for rewards. That's from the season six launched April 25th

[00:29:51] I mean, that's good. I don't want that.

[00:29:55] It's a little bit more motivating to get promoted when you get those red picks instead, which

[00:30:02] I had fun with last year, I guess.

[00:30:04] Yeah, and I think it's definitely like I said, I think you've seen, or at least let

[00:30:11] me put from my own perspective, I've noticed that it's far more leveled up now. People

[00:30:17] are less inclined to stay down. Journal rifles makes it a better experience for

[00:30:20] everyone. You see, you can see now that I wouldn't say all they have to do is up

[00:30:26] rewards, but that's something we set for months now. Up rewards make it worthwhile

[00:30:30] going up and go. I the only thing they have to do is let go of the matchmaking

[00:30:36] article, the friendly based on if they get rid of that as well.

[00:30:43] I still think it's a very good system. I know it's a popular opinion.

[00:30:50] I think the matchmaking's been actually fine. I don't know if it's been because

[00:30:54] I've been late coming to the Cup. It felt actually decent, but it didn't seem

[00:30:57] to be any great players in the mystery ball compared to what I normally

[00:31:01] face when it's like 10 in a limit. So I mean, I don't know if I'll put
