[00:00:53] and I would prepare a tremendous intro like I always try to do lately but quite honestly

[00:01:00] we're so swamped with what happened tonight that I couldn't find a way to put that in a couple of

[00:01:06] sentences. So my name is John, I'll be your host of tonight and I'm joined by none other

[00:01:33] Before we talk team of the season officially kicked off,

[00:01:36] Ingevier what's your opinion about the first week of sort pre team of the season,

[00:01:41] team of the season life as we'd like to call it? Not a big fan, it was a little bit boring.

[00:01:48] A little bit boring, why is that? Warm up thing. I felt it was like yeah the cards weren't

[00:01:59] super exciting and the ones you kind of really wanted to you of course wouldn't pack and too

[00:02:07] expensive so and when you check the stats on most of them they were not that exciting

[00:02:17] so there was nothing like kind of would upgrade the team I had before team of the season started

[00:02:26] so then it's like it would be cool to get something really really cool, surprisingly thing

[00:02:33] which we didn't. No maybe tonight's the nighting fie, let's go over to Chris. Chris how was your

[00:02:38] first week of warm up team of the season? I think it was a mixed bag John, I think some

[00:02:44] of the players in the team were okay, I think the Javets cards which we'll come on to talk about

[00:02:49] later on looks decent especially with you know Arsenal doing so well in the league,

[00:02:54] he's guaranteed to get his two upgrades almost this week but then we had the issue

[00:02:59] with were the SPC strong enough for the amount of cards that people were packing with the

[00:03:04] live cards I think that was a bit of an issue and we'll get onto that for our listeners

[00:03:08] in the show later on. So yeah mixed bag, love live cards possibly just not strong enough

[00:03:15] ah fair enough, fair enough we definitely have to talk about the other topics you just mentioned

[00:03:18] because what do you do with all the dupes you come back for example something we have to

[00:03:23] give an opinion about especially when the actual players that came out were a little bit

[00:03:29] on the verge of not being played. My honest opinion I quite like this first week maybe it's

[00:03:35] because of the fact until yesterday we're recording this on Friday evening so until

[00:03:40] Thursday evening this like content keeps dropping I kept packing players I did

[00:03:47] toss them all into exchanges if I'm quite honest I tried a whole lot of cards so it sort of put

[00:03:56] me in a bag I used Zaha for example which I really like I have to be honest I packed

[00:04:03] Rafinha which is a tremendous card like by far the best winger I've used this year

[00:04:10] I said I can't be honest uh Otamendi which is a very cheap center defender I don't know

[00:04:15] 20k something V just around I quite liked using him as well I used the Laia Alexandri

[00:04:25] card if I pronounced it correctly a very decent at center defender extremely good at full

[00:04:32] back in my honest opinion uh full back that can actually defend are rare to come by so far

[00:04:37] so I quite like that card as well and I use so many so many others yeah I quite enjoyed

[00:04:43] experimenting a little bit and the fact they gave an XP boost to playing at the end of

[00:04:48] the season as well just a shame they took that away but I quite like this week but I do agree

[00:04:53] on the fact we needed some SPC some players SPCs to at least give you a couple of options

[00:05:01] to toss your exchanges into but hey in the normal team of the season kicks off with

[00:05:09] Premier League this year we were guaranteed Premier League and Female Premier League

[00:05:17] correct but when I look at the teams there's suddenly a finite player there there's all kinds

[00:05:21] there's Kante I am extremely confused and by far these cards are also have a different

[00:05:28] card design so what's going on can you make sense for me and for everyone listening

[00:05:34] there's the normal team of the season for the Premier League and the Female Premier League

[00:05:39] there's in both of those teams there are some we have a few kind of moments cards that look

[00:05:47] a little bit different from the normal team of season design none of them are live cards

[00:05:53] so they won't get any more upgrades and then we have the mixed team of the season team here

[00:06:01] with the players from Turkish League Netherlands we have from championship we have from Portugal

[00:06:11] Saudi Arabia and we have from the MLS as well

[00:06:20] and from Belgium there is I think yes one Danish player as well and those are team of

[00:06:26] this season plus card so they get an extra chemistry boost to make them much easier to

[00:06:33] integrate into your ultimate team which is very nice yes but why so many teams at the same time

[00:06:41] uh that's a good question normally we just uh from previous years there was like the one main team

[00:06:47] and then there was a smaller league type of team and this mixed one we would probably call

[00:06:55] rest of the world if this was last year at least you could have called it that so uh

[00:07:02] now we have three leagues so there's a lot of cards impacts which is kind of nice

[00:07:10] you can get a lot of specials at least makes it a little bit more exciting when you see the

[00:07:16] flares but then you might be oh no not what I was hoping for but if you were watching on

[00:07:25] console you will see those flares and you will get some kind of action in your veins I guess

[00:07:32] while seeing the blue flares up I think that's a fair point Chris so more team of season

[00:07:38] players in packs no uh let's talk about the quality in a bit angry but

[00:07:44] the players you really want to go for the premier league players um I think that generally

[00:07:50] speaking when I look at we're not two hours in or something in the promo it looks like drop

[00:07:55] rate is higher than before but because there are so many cards in packs you can pack you

[00:08:00] might not get the cards you are desiring is this better or worse than for example having

[00:08:08] one team in and if you hit that blow you'd be good I find it surprising that the other league

[00:08:14] team is out I'll be honest with you when you've got two teams released I would have liked to

[00:08:18] have seen it just been the two prem teams um because actually if you look at the female card

[00:08:24] cards they're they're really strong they're really strong cards and I worry that the

[00:08:28] fact is you might not drop them as well and this this year being the first year of the

[00:08:33] female players been in the game I really think they should be pushed to the four

[00:08:36] so I think the third team being there is a little bit disappointing yeah okay so I get that

[00:08:43] but is it now you have a higher chance to pack a team in the season over a lower chance

[00:08:49] but if you pack one you'd get one of the very good ones what do you prefer this situation

[00:08:54] or what we had during team of the year or like a lot previous team season I hate team of the year

[00:09:01] so MD playing gpm bingo you can mark your card or take a drink because I've said team of the

[00:09:05] year I hate it um no I like this let's be honest but we're talking about these cards and

[00:09:10] the amount of cards last week that everybody packed I think you get most of these cards

[00:09:14] you're going to be fairly happy you know the super league ones anything 94 rated yeah

[00:09:19] you've won a bit of a watch I think the cards underneath that I know rating doesn't

[00:09:24] come in we've talked about this before the show that rating doesn't really matter it's for drop

[00:09:27] rate but there's definitely something in it for me um you know the the 97 lauren james card

[00:09:33] the price that that's at there's a reason why that card so high you know

[00:09:38] that's fair you talked about rating uh says only something about packs invi can you explain

[00:09:42] that for everyone listening talk about the rating on cards how to what does rating actually

[00:09:48] mean because there's a lot of discussions about these players ratings generally speaking

[00:09:54] well for me it's confusing I think because when I see a rating I have a certain expectation

[00:10:02] that's about the in-game stats I've seen 94 rated cards look more like an 88 rated card so that's

[00:10:09] yeah a little bit confusing and annoying at the same time and we have so many cards which

[00:10:17] have the same rating as their previous best card which is also more confusing we have for example

[00:10:23] the uh team of dear sam caron she got a team of season moments cards and both are 96 rated but

[00:10:29] I was a little bit of difference with the in-game stats uh of course with the play styles

[00:10:35] uh the new one has three play style plus and the team of dear one has two so um

[00:10:42] um it makes them a little bit more special but I think they should be higher rated now that we've

[00:10:49] been uh three months or four months after a team of dear yeah and I I totally get that I think

[00:11:00] something people have realized is after the fact they put on uh ratings on packs minimum of x

[00:11:07] rating in this pack or minimum 187 rated plus in one pack stuff like that that meant they will be

[00:11:13] far more careful putting in ratings on players and that also means I think on promos especially

[00:11:19] when they release three teams at the same time like two and a half teams at the same time

[00:11:24] they will be very careful appointing them a rating just looking at how often they want

[00:11:30] those players to be dropped so that's why the premier league players will get a higher rating

[00:11:35] for example but you see alice one being one less than his normal card because

[00:11:39] it doesn't really matter if they pack a goalkeeper from the premier league

[00:11:43] and the chance now higher you pack that certain goalkeeper I think at this stage of the game

[00:11:48] rating means nothing honestly it's all about tech play styles and rating is only affected to

[00:11:56] the site back weight of a certain card in this current promo so just on that john then

[00:12:02] you've mentioned play styles we're onto the three playstiles for players if you're looking

[00:12:09] at a defender for instance what play styles should our listeners be looking at on those

[00:12:16] cards then what ones would you home in on and say they are the premier ones

[00:12:21] I mean I'm still a fan of the raccoon anticipate plus although it did get a little bit of a

[00:12:26] nerf run I really on the fenders center defenders I like block plus

[00:12:32] just plain simple block plus is something more something I like very much

[00:12:38] aerial hasn't got isn't that important anymore I think it worked before but against the fact

[00:12:44] the aerial got nerfed on the fence but I don't think it matters too much if you have it on

[00:12:47] players jockey of course still good but I just I usually check if they have block plus

[00:12:54] and if they anticipate plus it's a bonus for me but I think it's also preference right you know

[00:13:00] I'm more of a manual defending player anyways so would you agree on that or

[00:13:10] yeah I'm pretty much in the same boat as you are with the with I the block plus I haven't

[00:13:16] found any players like really doing lots of blocks for me mine just let the players and

[00:13:22] shots go past them so you still need to select the player yeah I do that as well I jockey and

[00:13:31] try without but they don't want to block for some reason

[00:13:36] but anticipate plus I like on center defenders intercept plus then I think they're a little

[00:13:41] bit too aggressive so I have to kind of pull them back into position sometimes if I don't

[00:13:47] control them so that I feel is better on midfielders at least for me yeah so but

[00:13:53] anticipate plus is one I really like jockey as well on the taller and more bulky type of players

[00:14:00] is nice so yeah I like probably most important one is an anticipate for me

[00:14:10] yeah if you look for example Chris at Greenwood now 94k of course fast but she's got anticipate

[00:14:19] plus as well on it and a regular block plus I think that's an awesome card and there's one

[00:14:25] card from the rest of world which I won't highlight because well if you look at the video

[00:14:28] show I might be a little bit biased there as well but honestly sorry John just on the

[00:14:35] green card before we speak about Hans Chokal I'll mention his name for you she's 3'3 and 5 foot 6

[00:14:43] so yeah so the 3'3 is a little bit of problem but you can play her left defender left back

[00:14:50] yeah and that's what I meant actually with the player I used this week as well

[00:14:53] I don't want with the really long name I like Zandri like these are the defender but

[00:15:00] a little bit too small for example but put her on a fullback position which luckily they

[00:15:05] can switch to without any issue and then suddenly you're looking at a fullback that has long ball

[00:15:11] plus play style can defend with the anticipate plus has whipped balls on her as well

[00:15:18] high passing 95 short passing 97 long passing Greenwood with 95 stamina looks like a perfect

[00:15:27] left back for your crossing play style Envy oh yes that's has all the good

[00:15:35] play styles for a good fullback for me yeah left footed as well so I think that's a sneaky

[00:15:43] one there Chris I think what I really like about the cards that came out this week and

[00:15:48] today as well is if you look at them as first sight you're like not quite sure then

[00:15:54] you take a deep dive into the card themselves and like wait a minute he's got a second play

[00:15:58] style or second position can actually move them too suddenly oh wait I got a perfect fullback

[00:16:05] hey don't you think everyone realized that you talked about Hansko Hansko is one of those

[00:16:10] cards where Envy sent me this guy I thought were primarily so Envy sent me the picture of

[00:16:14] Hansko just before we started I was like comparing with do you need to tell who I

[00:16:19] compare them with yeah you compare them with Virgil van Dijk okay that's at the moment it

[00:16:23] was 40k versus 14 million or something and sure Virgil is better but not that much better I think

[00:16:30] and you send me that I was like okay that's actually I didn't even know I was back but

[00:16:34] then you look at Hansko's play styles and he's got the block plus and the anticipate plus

[00:16:41] and he's 90 pace and he's long and he's strong and I suddenly like wait a minute why

[00:16:47] isn't anyone picking up on this card it's also yes is the team of the season plus card

[00:16:52] so it all sort of chemistry is just boosted right um luckily after we start recording that

[00:16:58] card has started to creep up in price because I think we're not the only one that found that

[00:17:03] one out um but I think that's that's a cool part of this team of the season and the fact

[00:17:08] you got so many new cards and and the fact people start to realize start to think about

[00:17:14] rating first but then if you take a deeper dive into these players you might be surprised at

[00:17:19] some of them so is there just starting the females is there any females in there if you're

[00:17:25] looking at the ratings you know let's say Lauren James you know I mean you're either

[00:17:29] either a super trader or bought loads of packs or you're super lucky to get her she's 4.3 million

[00:17:35] I think roughly at the moment is there any other cards in there that you think you know

[00:17:40] are we being a bit snobby about not looking at them because they're female players I mean

[00:17:44] I'm looking at the Shaw card particularly that might be a cheap card good striker 5 foot 11

[00:17:50] well I know you I've talked about Lauren Hemp I don't know how many times during this season

[00:17:56] and she looks amazing for me at least for a wide player I also think that

[00:18:05] uh Neham Charles the left back the only thing the stats are great but the thing is

[00:18:15] it's a little bit strange that she's left back left wing back right wing and left wing

[00:18:21] but her main card non-inform is right back so that's a little bit uh I'm trying to find out

[00:18:28] how many matches he's played as left back but I haven't found that yet but the stats are

[00:18:33] really good she has a five star weak foot so she can of course play left back as well high high

[00:18:38] work rates four star skill moves 95 composure uh she has 94 crossing and the whipped pass plus

[00:18:47] jockey plus intercept plus relentless normal long normal long throw rapid block and long

[00:18:54] ball pass with 96 stamina 94 jumping and without this is one of those cards which I meant like

[00:19:03] you look at it like 94 rated left back okay look at the stats and like not too bad then

[00:19:09] you realize hey you can also play left winger wait now I have a left winger oh I can actually

[00:19:14] play her left winger and she can also defend a little bit yep oh you can play the right

[00:19:17] winger it's a perfect she can cross she can assist she can pause she's fast and she can

[00:19:23] defend wait a right winger that can that you can keep on stay back and can actually defend as well

[00:19:29] for 100k yeah that's crazy crazy cheap five so good and she's not that she's five foot eight

[00:19:36] so that's not too bad either for a for a winger or a fullback so with high high yeah

[00:19:41] so that's that's fine as well so I would say that um that's great value for uh for coins at

[00:19:51] least for me um the malard card is quite good as well but that's not a big upgrade from her

[00:20:01] some of her other cards that you could do with evolutions but uh she is

[00:20:09] yeah very well rounded as well with the dribbling stats are so good and of course

[00:20:16] great passing as well only thing maybe is aggression but she don't need that kind of high

[00:20:23] stats if she's playing wide the only thing is flair plus doesn't do much for me so a quick

[00:20:30] quick step plus is nice but trivela plus not that good anymore so I kind of think the play

[00:20:37] styles lets her down a little bit I don't know if I would play her as a striker but why

[00:20:43] she could do a good job I think it's like 77k she's gonna drop more as well

[00:20:51] I don't understand the sam kerr car that's yeah pretty much the same as the team of the year

[00:20:57] card and I know she's been injured but if you release her then give her something extra

[00:21:03] than a play style which kind of isn't enough I think but it's a nice card if you pack

[00:21:14] her and trade of course she's probably more than usable but wish that there was more special

[00:21:23] things about that card compared to the team of the year since we're like three four months

[00:21:26] after that so yeah I think generally speaking it's a nice selection all these cards are pretty

[00:21:32] good Chris talking about the female team the problem is everyone has very good teams yeah

[00:21:39] not necessarily a problem but that's why some cards will get overlooked I think

[00:21:44] the Charles card if I'm quite honest is better than Rolfo as people like to call her online

[00:21:52] so I know who I'd pick because she's 100k right so awesome cards I have a question

[00:22:00] about the Premier League squad though if you're ready for that one Yves

[00:22:03] yeah fire and I'm not the only one that had a question there because Nathan sends in a

[00:22:08] question it says how does EA come up with the players for TOTS there's a feel of backselling

[00:22:13] slash favouritism rather than merit and I think he's mostly looking into cards like

[00:22:19] I'm sorry Yngwie you're wearing a Liverpool kit I know but Alisson and Salah for example

[00:22:25] why are they a team of season? They shouldn't be near it Alisson I was good before I was

[00:22:30] injured but he's been injured half the season almost and Salah hasn't done much

[00:22:35] after Christmas he's been injured quite a while as well and when he's played he

[00:22:41] yeah he hasn't been himself to be honest I know McAllister has had a good run lately

[00:22:48] but I still think overall he shouldn't be in the team either at least not

[00:22:53] in front of Martin Ödegård where is Ödegård I can't understand there's no logical reason

[00:23:01] for him to not be in this team of the season at all yeah his performance against Chelsea

[00:23:10] yeah he's been better than Saka as well so you know and I think you might see that as an SPC

[00:23:16] I think if I'm being honest with you that maybe is one of those cards that you seek

[00:23:19] him out this week as an SPC card yeah but I still think that's going to be a like kind of

[00:23:25] bad rating and stats compared to what he's been doing on the pitch so that's going to be a big

[00:23:32] letdown I remember last year was really good as well and he got a team of season card which

[00:23:35] was really underwhelming as well and he's kind of being overlooked this season as well he's

[00:23:40] like one of the contenders to player of the season yeah so he should be a lock into this

[00:23:46] team he shouldn't be an SPC of course if he decides to give him a super card and

[00:23:53] quite expensive SPC that's fine because he deserves it but I still think it's

[00:24:00] kind of shocking that he's not in this team now if you look at the team if you look at

[00:24:06] the team as well you know I mean talking about ratings so you've got Salah at 95 rating

[00:24:12] Foden at 94 you know Cole Palmer 94 and then you know even Olly Watkins I'd say three of those

[00:24:23] players those three players are being far better than Salah this season Salah's had quite a poor

[00:24:27] season so that's the problem for me is I think you know Cole Palmer is one of the

[00:24:34] best players in the league Foden has been absolutely amazing and when you talk about the

[00:24:38] Breuner card as well you know I think Man City players would rather pick Foden every day of the

[00:24:43] week than have a De Bruyne in their team yeah but I think De Bruyne does sell back so he's

[00:24:50] he shouldn't be in the just because he sells back now we had that discussion with

[00:24:56] team here as well and I think we shouldn't be I mean I 100% would have when everything is

[00:25:02] said right but I'm also past the point of actually trying to argue the choices of it we've

[00:25:09] seen last year where for example Kuktu was almost like he was an era division player

[00:25:16] of the year and he got an 86 rated card or something 87 rated card anything somewhere

[00:25:21] around the line something horrible yeah yeah and then an IF player that played like six matches

[00:25:26] got a 93 rated card like wait what it was injured half the season and it's because that IF

[00:25:33] player sells more packs that's quite honestly the truth and I think Salah sells more packs

[00:25:39] than Un Guard yeah of course but still that shouldn't be a kind of uh shouldn't have

[00:25:45] anything to say it should be based on at least how they have performed yeah but then

[00:25:50] it's not it's not the most popular players of the season like I don't disagree with you there

[00:25:57] but I think if you look at the female team we could highlight a couple there as well that

[00:26:02] don't deserve the plays in there either they're in Sam Kier has been injured hasn't she she's

[00:26:07] that's why she got the moments one I mean that's that's not a team of season cars

[00:26:13] that's the same with then Kunqu he also got a moments car so it's nothing to do with it

[00:26:18] that's just kind of promo picking like normal for

[00:26:22] EA they give some players more cards than others for some reason and then it's not at least team

[00:26:28] of the season pure cards are based should be based on at least performances on the pitch

[00:26:34] not off it so uh so I suppose I suppose then the question then is if our listeners are

[00:26:40] listening then they're you know they make the new listeners or they're you know they're

[00:26:44] what I said to talk about is if I've got a 94 rated Cole Palmer and a 96 rated Declan Rice

[00:26:51] two difference in the ratings okay two different positions I accept that one's more an attacking

[00:26:55] player one's more a defensive player in terms of from my team well I know it's a huge

[00:27:00] difference from the 94 rated player to the 96 rated player unless I think uh unless it's

[00:27:08] maybe Harland who's 97 no I think unless there's certain play styles that change the

[00:27:12] range you won't really notice any difference right yeah I'm just wondering if we're getting

[00:27:16] hung up on the still have closely boosts on them so yeah so if we get hung up on this rating

[00:27:20] system yeah which we actually probably seen as for being honest with you is probably a bit

[00:27:25] immaterial it's well about looking at the cards I don't think there's a huge difference between

[00:27:29] a 94 rated player and a 96 rated player there is those players that are always going to be meta

[00:27:34] hence why Van Dyke is in the tens of millions and Harland is the same in tens of

[00:27:38] millions and then you've got you know a player maybe a rating just slightly below him you know

[00:27:42] even Saka 95 rated against uh Salah you know there's a three million coin difference there

[00:27:50] I don't think those cards are any different really in terms of you look at the stats and

[00:27:54] I don't think an average player like myself will really notice that much different

[00:27:59] no I don't think so you know honestly but if you call Palmer is more an attacking type of

[00:28:05] Declan Rice is a defensive but people tend to like attacking players more than they like the

[00:28:11] defensive type of players I mean defensive players are usually also a lot cheaper in real life

[00:28:17] yeah of course yeah I mean that sort of makes sense I think as well but then you look at

[00:28:23] cards like Sergino Dest that came out and I mean I'm wearing a Finerod kit tonight on

[00:28:28] today's shows but kudos to Dest for example had a terrific season and deserved that place

[00:28:33] season right unfortunately he's got injured but that card is 40k as we're speaking

[00:28:39] almost max base he's got with pass plus relentless plus an intercept plus

[00:28:45] he's a 90 rated card and therefore nobody actually is eyeing him but that's an insane card high

[00:28:51] high max like 97 stamina nothing wrong with this card 96 95 for defensive awareness on 83

[00:29:00] you need to boost that at least yeah but agility is 99 balance 95 dribbling 99 on a full back

[00:29:09] yeah that's without any boosts max base he will struggle a little bit versus the crosses

[00:29:15] like some of the female players does but as an attacking fullback he's a really good card

[00:29:20] actually exactly that and then it's like 40k because probably he's 90 rated and people pack

[00:29:27] him a lot and people are not completely sure about the team of season plus chemistry thing so

[00:29:34] yeah that's I think that's something as well that people once people start realizing these

[00:29:39] cards get an extra plus chemistry anyways like they're starting to right that's why it works

[00:29:44] but I also have a thing to say about the Palmer card which is around 1.9 millions

[00:29:54] and he also has the future stars card and when you compare the stats the only type of boost

[00:30:03] proper boost you got on the team of season card is a plus 29 on penalties because that was super

[00:30:10] low other than that it's like a plus one and a few plus two upgrades from his 91 rated I think

[00:30:19] for me my logic says it's 91 to 93 most stats should at least be plus three

[00:30:26] or better than the other other card and it's not there's no

[00:30:30] just like penalties is the only one that's more than plus two upgrade which I feel is

[00:30:35] wrong when his team of the season as well I think they should get more special boosts

[00:30:41] then I'm pretty sure we're gonna get some footies card or something gonna be 98 or 99 rated

[00:30:46] but still they could have juiced him up a little bit more because he's been having an incredible

[00:30:50] season and Chelsea without him is not the same as the team with when he's on the pitch

[00:30:57] you'd say they'd be nowhere but they probably are nowhere at the moment let's be honest for

[00:31:00] the size of the team that they are and they would be quite low on the table if it wasn't

[00:31:04] you know I mean the Sheffield United would probably be above them by then

[00:31:07] and I know we don't ever talk about them we never talk about the Van Dykes we never talk

[00:33:16] if you look at those two cards and you accept that one of them has got three play styles and

[00:33:19] one of them's got two is the top card almost over twice better than the cards the team a year

[00:33:29] uh I'm trying to like

[00:33:33] there's barely any upgrades to the head to the stats uh

[00:33:41] it's got five forces game with five star week for that as well

[00:33:44] uh his team of the air cars has powershot plus and aero plus and the team of the season one has

[00:33:53] rapid plus powershot plus and aero plus so for the rapid plus is not worth

[00:34:00] it's not worth I think double the price but of course it helps with the nine

[00:34:04] he has relentless now which is nice he didn't have that on the team of the air one but I

[00:34:09] still think it's not gonna defend the price of uh of the team of season card with a few extra

[00:34:17] minutes sprinting I guess so um I think the card should have been more boosted since

[00:34:27] it's team of the season card as sure either that or the team of all the team of the

[00:34:31] air card should be the best cards until foot is the team of the year card still broken

[00:34:37] yeah it is broken as well and I don't like please don't boost these cards currently that

[00:34:43] much better right well you're not going to face it more if it's boosted more anyway so or less

[00:34:48] if it was boosted more so you're still going to face in the same amount of times and you're

[00:34:52] still going to struggle crazy amount well let me let me ask the most famous Dutchman in the

[00:34:58] world who we've got on the pod tonight supporting his most famous fire nod there

[00:35:05] is no truth in the matter that uh that envy is going to pay 10 million to get john to come over

[00:35:55] week where team of the year cards drop in value right then team of the season cards come out

[00:36:00] and you see the price rising price rising and this will settle to about equal prices in about

[00:36:05] a week or so I think actually and I see you see that for example with Alisson the team

[00:36:11] the Alisson is one maybe the best goalkeeper in the game even uh that was 600 700k a week ago

[00:36:18] or two weeks ago it dropped I think 350k in a week now the team the season card hits

[00:36:25] and it's actually 94 rated so it's a little bit easier to pack that one is 100k and that brings

[00:36:30] the team of the year card price down now as well they'll both be 110k at the end of the week

[00:36:37] I'm sure and I think this is because we are recording this on a Friday night the price

[00:36:42] are a little bit inflated right but in a week or so I think they'll sort of settle and

[00:36:49] honestly the only thing I could see happen in this and the team of the year cards rising

[00:36:54] back once people figure out some of these cards are not that much better or not better at all

[00:37:00] I would pay five six million for if I'm liking it heartbeat if I had that spare change of

[00:37:04] relying behind myself or Chris but I wouldn't boy butters by having the team of the year

[00:37:09] over the team of the season on the other way around no problem so so they're saying that then

[00:37:12] so I've always had my and you can help me this thing because there's no truth in the

[00:37:17] matter that the best players come from Norway but it seems to be in FC that is all the

[00:37:20] best players is it Graham Hansen card the team of year card I've been watching that it's still at

[00:37:27] 3.4 which is still a bit rich for me I'll be honest with you but that card there is that

[00:37:33] card still viable going into the team of season Graham Hansen yeah yeah the team of your card

[00:37:41] yes I would use that in a heartbeat if I could afford because I used the

[00:37:46] the 91 inform the first inform I used that for so long and it was and I just tried her of

[00:37:54] a week ago or something and well she's still really good at 91 rated cards so

[00:38:02] I'm guessing this 97 rated team of the year card should be extremely good and more than

[00:38:08] usable even though the defenders will be juiced but the attacking stats on that card are so

[00:38:14] good and she also has 84 strength with 75 a good question so I think she should be doing

[00:38:24] quite well versus good and strong defenders as well and she also has the whip pass plus which

[00:38:29] I love so at worst she could just run and cross all day for me I should get a quite a lot

[00:38:36] of assists out of that card still and you can do some serious damage with just with left

[00:38:43] dribbling on that card it's it's crazy good still at least for me yeah no I think I agree

[00:38:49] there as well are there any cards you guys want to try in the next week just from any

[00:38:55] any cards at all Fanta I would love to try which you are going to try let me put like this

[00:38:59] which cards are you going to try I need to try the hunko I guess since I backed him

[00:39:07] you do yes with the plus chemistry it's no problem fitting him the stats are good

[00:39:16] the only thing is I think that he's he's not pure lengthy if I'm going to be like kind of

[00:39:23] be very picky so the recovery pace shouldn't be super super but 80

[00:39:31] 80 acceleration and 91 yeah he's so crazy fast so I think he would do a good job with any of my

[00:39:38] current center backs and I can't really see well balance no that's not a weakness on

[00:39:47] on a six foot two player with tall and lean no he has power head as well he has normal long

[00:39:55] ball play style which is nice 92 stamina there's like yeah there's nothing wrong with that card

[00:40:05] you have to be super good at the game to kind of say that normal lengthy is better than

[00:40:10] controlled lengthy for example that's I kind of think is the only thing you can say is

[00:40:17] the downside it's not that hard yeah so so I'm gonna definitely gonna put him in I also packed

[00:40:26] the Gabriel so I might try those two together just to kind of try something different because

[00:40:33] Gabriel is pure lengthy unless I want to put a finisher on him which I won't of course not that

[00:40:39] fast as though no no well he's still 81 acceleration and 87 sprint speed and when

[00:40:44] he's pure lengthy I think he would do quite well anyways he has bruiser plus aerial plus

[00:40:51] and slight tackle plus and of course he has normal block intercept anticipates jockey long

[00:40:58] ball ping pass and power header so with 94 short passing and 90 long passing so

[00:41:06] he can ping those passes all around and of course 96 composure 96 jumping 92 heading

[00:41:12] accuracy 94 aggression more of a stage you can basically just try all these cards now

[00:41:17] yeah left footed as well which is nice so that will if I really want to pack my gallister

[00:41:24] to see if it's better than the showdown card I have because I really like that card

[00:41:47] I'm guessing we'll see some kind of store pack guaranteeing family cars and these will drop a

[00:41:52] few hundred thousand coins the expensive ones so I would hold off on players like if you can

[00:41:59] afford Palmer, Rice, Son, Rodri, Saliba, Saka, maybe Foden all those I would I wouldn't unless

[00:42:14] you plan to just keep them for rest of the game and try them and sell them if not you

[00:42:21] might lose a few hundred k on them but all looks very good Mr. Teddy Bear who are you

[00:42:30] going to try this week? I'd like to try Lauren Hemp I'll be honest with you I've really really

[00:42:35] enjoyed her card I think I was at Future Stars one before they nerfed mistakenly nerfed the

[00:42:42] whip pass because for all the crossers out there the long ball merchants like myself

[00:42:48] she looks an exciting card she's 5'4 the pace you don't need to touch she's 99.99

[00:42:56] crossing again if you look at it I think is 99 short pass and 91 long pass and 88 ones good

[00:43:03] and in balance as well every bit of card looks really great and currently sitting I think at

[00:43:08] 1.1 million so I think you know that looks a really exciting card to pick up and try

[00:43:17] she also has the quick step plus so she would kind of if you can say it is she's going to

[00:43:22] feel quicker than 99 acceleration speed because the players with that play style is insanely

[00:43:30] fast when they accelerate so she's going to fly past many players unless they go and just

[00:43:38] just

[00:43:45] yeah 99 crossing without any boost as you can cross for days and if you have Drogba and

[00:43:50] Peter Kraus like me you would have a field day I guess yeah for sure I'm going to try Kante

[00:43:57] oh I was going to ask why are you trying Kante you need a dropper

[00:44:01] well that's actually gonna try him of course Hansko is in my team for today so he's one of

[00:44:07] the users of Wicked League but I was an insta buy I bought him but that was apparently a good

[00:44:37] of goalkeeper but just with slightly better stats so I'm eager to try him out as well

[00:44:42] if you could pack one player from this team of the season let's go focus on the Premier

[00:44:47] which player is the one you pick? Van Dijk, Chris, Haaland

[00:44:59] okay of course you want to know mine because you ask so nicely um but I would go for Haaland as

[00:45:06] well uh not because van Dijk isn't I would not mind packing him if he just put it out

[00:45:12] there I wouldn't refuse him um but I mean some of these striker cards uh this Haaland card

[00:45:21] uh the Team of the Year Haaland card I mean the Mbappe card Team of the Year those cards are

[00:45:27] feel like cheat codes and I've been playing with 95 Pele for I don't know

[00:45:31] thousand matches now so far this year I think and that card still feels like oh

[00:45:37] he can't do much wrong I can't imagine having a striker in my team that's actually even better

[00:45:42] than that one I mean that just sometimes wins you matches on its own uh well van Dijk makes

[00:45:49] sure you don't lose as much you don't lose matches but it's the difference between winning

[00:45:53] so if I have to choose one that would be Haaland but I'm definitely an English camp that

[00:45:57] if I can choose a second one I would be van Dijk I guess that was a question sent in by uh

[00:47:01] also I wouldn't mind a team of the season Graeme Souness cool choices Chris

[00:51:11] uh card in the beginning I think it was the trailblazer SBC card was very expensive but it

[00:51:20] was a nightmare to face him every time and he is now 92 rated comes around 370k high work rates

[00:51:30] forced to skirmish five star weak foot short and normal body style he has cheap shot plus

[00:51:36] power shot plus and first touch plus which are not the power shot is nice but the other two are

[00:51:43] not super super nice maybe but he has normal finesse uh incisor pass ping pass long ball pass

[00:51:51] is rapid flare press proven which is very nice to have it's a very well rounded card

[00:52:00] uh no huge uh weakness I think at all uh can jump he can had good stamina even though it doesn't

[00:52:11] have relentless plus he's 81 strength with press proven is nice very good passing and vision

[00:52:18] and finishing position here so it's a very good card very easy to link decent price yep

[00:52:26] the question is put do you put your photo into the exchanges like I've been doing all week or

[00:52:31] do you grind towards this card thingy uh I'm gonna do the card because I think it can be

[00:52:38] very usable both the wide and as a striker or start sub three forward as well if you go for

[00:52:47] three two one he can play one of the center forward positions there next to

[00:52:51] uh drug bar and crouch I think he could be a very good addition there five star weak foot

[00:55:46] normal ping pass normal block normal intercept normal and aerial normal so

[00:55:52] I think he could compete with Peter crouch as well in the air and ropa so I think there's

[00:56:01] if you play at least if you play three center backs I think that this would be an amazing

[00:56:06] card to have at least for a very decent price just to make sure I get it is an sbc

[00:56:12] right yeah it's a showdown sbc even though if they don't win I still think it's going to be

[00:56:19] an interesting card to use with the shadow he can't compete he's got to crouch down to

[00:56:24] have the ball from across I think I don't think we'll see this card too much only thing

[00:56:33] I don't like is this medium medium on the center defender but well if there's three

[00:56:38] center backs that's not a problem I've used a few medium medium ones and didn't notice it

[00:56:45] that much so for me at least that would be a very nice card definitely an interesting card

[00:56:52] though yeah they could have given him a better dynamic they will probably give him a decent

[00:56:59] dynamic don't you think because he doesn't have one now does he no exactly yeah now that he

[00:57:05] should get go get one and maybe a day or so that takes sometimes a day or two or three to

[00:57:14] to update the dynamics so that is true it's pretty cool actually yeah you it's an 83 rated

[00:57:21] squad with a team of the week card or team of the season card or and this 85 rated one

[00:57:29] with a team of the week so it's our team of the season card so if you get a dupe you

[00:57:33] can easily do the spc so um I think I might try him pretty soon that's uh cool shout out
