Chris Has Hated Team of the Year for 750 Episodes | FUT IN REVIEW #750

Seven years ago it started with two guys and a stack of Futties cards. Tonight it's episode 750.

John is joined by co-founder Ingve and Chris for a trip down memory lane: no FC talk, just nostalgia. Who called which promo "the worst ever" (spoiler: it's usually Chris, and it's usually Team of the Year), the night Messi Gate broke the game, which of our predictions aged well and which aged terribly, and a quiz to see how well the hosts remember their own show.

Plus the numbers: 847 published episodes, 627 hours of FUT talk, every host's appearance count, the mystery of the lost episodes 3 & 4, and our predictions for episode 1000.

🙏 THANK YOU

750 episodes. Over 600 hours. Countless late nights, three mixers, dozens of microphones and more Team of the Year rants than we'd like to admit. None of it happens without you. To everyone who listens, watches, comments, joins us on Discord, supports us on Patreon or sends the occasional angry DM: thank you. Whether this is your 7th episode or your 700th, you're the reason we keep pressing record.

If you enjoy the show, share it with one friend or leave us a review. It helps more than you think.

[00:00:00] Hello, footies. You've heard it for seven years from me, from Chris, from Dan, from Nathan, from Shaq, from Andrew, from Tyler, once from Neil and once from a man calling himself Wimper. It started in July 2019 with two guys and a stack of footies cards. Tonight, it is episode 750.

[00:00:25] We've got the numbers, the predictions that aged terribly and the night handed out message. EA handed out message by accident. So grab a drink and let's go. Welcome everyone. My name is John and I am proud to present episode 750.

[00:00:53] But of course, I couldn't do alone. With me is the man, the myth, the legend, the original co-host from FUTIN REVIEW, the co-founder himself, all the way from Norway. It's In Ingrid. In Ingrid, welcome back my friend. Hello, hello. Thank you, thank you. Yeah, I'm really happy. I've got a good run going now and a very positive health-wise experience as well on the way.

[00:01:22] So hopefully more to come, more to come. Really glad to hear it and welcome to your 750th co-founding podcast, my friend. Who thought we made it this far? No, not me. I don't think anyone did, actually. No. It's good to have you on. And of course, all the way from Scotland, wearing orange, wearing orange, I think an even orange tea today. He's there in his own podcast cabin. It's none other than Chris.

[00:01:51] Chris, welcome back and congratulations. Thank you, mate. It's good to be back. Looking forward to the show. Cannot wait to get it going. Find out what we've did in the past. Looking forward to it at the present and what we're going to do in the future, mate. Exactly. So no content today. No FC talk today about the current version. We are going on the nostalgia road. We are going back in memory lane. And also, we'll be playing a little bit of a quiz, see how much you actually remember.

[00:02:19] And I've got some statistics from the show which might blow your mind. So just get it started, guys. Definitely. Awesome. Awesome. Just saying, we started this show in July 2019, Yngwie. The two of us doing a footage special. That's why we said hello footage. Yes. I put that episode one this week on our Discord community. And apparently, I have aged rather poorly.

[00:02:52] I still think you look quite young. So... That's why you're my bestie. It is. It's been quite a ride. And I said, you know, except for the gray hairs. I don't see that look that much different. And glasses. And a couple more kilos. But it's the camera that adds weight apparently. It's the game that ages. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Probably a fair point, to be fair.

[00:03:19] Guys, I want to start with a little bit of a fun game. Guess. It's called Guess the Promo. I will say a quote from a certain episode back in the past where someone said, this is the worst promotion ever. You guys guess who it said. And then I'll tell you who actually did say it. And which promo that was and when it was. Sounds like a plan? And you can just scream, yell out a name. You don't have to take turns.

[00:03:47] So, on the July 21st, 2023, someone said, I would love to see this promotion get scrapped. If you don't pack anything, this is the worst promotion available. Who said that? Nathan? Chris? Wembe. It was actually Andrew. All right.

[00:04:14] Of course, our Mr. U.S. President back then. It was actually a joke, but I'm not going to go there. It was Team of the Year, FIFA 23, actually. So, yeah. And then on August 8th, 2023, someone says, this promotion was a disaster promotion. Probably the worst promotion that we've seen this season. This was two weeks later. Who said this?

[00:04:41] A few years ago would be Tommy. I would say Wembe. No, it was Chris. Oh, man. What promo was that? It was the level up promotion. Oh, it was horrendous. Come on. That was horrendous. And to be fair, I thought the first one was Andrew, but I did a little bit wrong there. The first one was also Chris talking about Team of the Year, but you were hosting it with Andrew. So, to be fair. I hate Team of the Year.

[00:05:11] January 12th, 2024, episode 577. I hate this promo. This is the worst promo that we get all year. I'll say me again, and it sounds like it's Team of the Year. Nathan? It was Chris. And again, it was Team of the Year, FIFA 24. I just hate Team of the Year. Guys. Yeah.

[00:05:41] Two weeks later, February 2nd, 2024, episode 583. So, six episodes later, this was just after Messygate. This is the worst promo in the whole of FIFA. I say Chris. It can't be me again. I'm going to say Nathan. It was Chris. I think you're picking on me here, mate. Don't worry about it.

[00:06:11] January 17th, 2025, episode 653. 100 million percent the worst promotion in the whole of FC in this existence. Me. I'm going to say that. Chris. It was indeed Chris. Can you guess which promotion it was? Team of the Year. Team of the Year FC 25. What? On July 29th, in that same year, 2025.

[00:06:42] Hosting the show with Neil. This was sad. I hate this promotion. It pushes up the power curve so far. And I hate it still months later. It was me. Team of the Year. Chris. It was Chris. Team of the Year. Yes. Yes. Also on the Messygate emergency show on January 30th, 2024. You also plugged Friday's debate. Is Team of the Year the worst ever promotion? Can we please talk about the worst ever promotion on the next show?

[00:07:12] I don't think you very much like Team of the Year, Chris. No, I'm beginning to think that myself. Even though I've packed four in the last four years, I do actually really hate that promo. So five of the six are Team of the Year references. Why do you hate Team of the Year this much? Because it just pushes the power curve up too much and people just go mental for it. And then the issue is, well, not this year because you don't get any special cards.

[00:07:39] But in years gone by, you've got so many packs saved up that actually, if you wait to the end of Team of the Year and go to the next promo, you pack loads and loads of cards. It just is an absolute waste. I absolutely detest it. It's the worst promo ever. Yeah, put that in episode 1000. I was wondering though, I can't even remember level up promotion. What was that about, Invin?

[00:08:02] Oh, I think it was, you were supposed to play some matches to kind of level up the cards. And it was a lot of matches for some of the players as well. And of course you had to pack them. To be able to level them up. And they didn't get that great either. So, I remember it was so many matches for some of the players and it kind of wasn't worth it at all.

[00:08:31] Yeah, it was some late nights for me, I think, trying to get some players. It was not a good experience. Can you pick it? Do you know a player, Yngwie? I've got it from on my phone. Do you know a player? Would you guess one player? If you have to guess a player. In that promo? Yeah. Oh, I just need to think a little bit. Because I had some nightmare. Just make it to people easy because I have no idea.

[00:09:01] Still. Gravenberg maybe? I can't remember if he was the one. Yeah. John would have got one because Vlahovic was in it. He was 93 rated striker. Vlahovic. He was in it. Yep. You'd have loved that, mate. And there was an exceptionally young. I'm sure it's the same guy. Paco played for Frankfurt now at PSG. So, there you go. That's how good a promo it was. I still hate team of the year, though.

[00:09:30] I can imagine. I can imagine. Yeah, that was it. I also remember the Movember promo. Movember? Yeah, the Movember one. I like that one, though. I like the car design, but there were no kind of like, I think one stat was a plus one or something. Insane. I remember Jordan Henderson was one of the promo cards.

[00:09:55] And there was like nobody kind of understood because it was plus one in one stat. And that was kind of it with the mustache thing going on. And nothing really special. No, but they had a mustache, which was cool. Yeah. But I've been trying to grow. It was for a good cause. We did a show in 2019. The Movember thing is for a good cause, of course.

[00:10:22] But I think EA could have done a little bit better with that promo. Well, you know what? They also could have done better. We did one emergency show, which was all about Messy Kate. Yes. I distinctively remember doing this one with Chris. Chris, this was not only our only emergency show, but also our best listened, best viewed, most replied to. I'm also the most hated person on earth because of that show.

[00:10:54] Chris, tell the story. What happened on January 13th in 2024? You could have warned me. Here you go. I could have. But I could have. So, to be fair, Yngwie, Chris sent me a message an hour before. Like, you didn't get any notes yet. What's going on here? Like, yeah, you don't need notes today. So, I'll tell you what I think happened. Okay? And you can tell me if this is what actually happened. I believe you could pick a player from certain leagues.

[00:11:23] And I think that Messi came out a lot of the time. And the reason that EA got away with it was because they said it was just sheer luck. And everybody who'd done it got what they got for. But Messi was like, for some bizarre reason, he was the only card you could pick in the MLS. Am I saying that right, Yngwie? Yeah, it was an MLS player pick thing. And the odds were in the favor of Messi for a while. And then suddenly he stopped appearing.

[00:11:52] It was a player pick, right? An 86 plus player pick. And I think the player pick in the MLS was just broken and always gave back to Messi. But apparently afterwards EA said, like, okay, here's the story, right? Because I actually listened back to this show. So Dan, myself and Chris recorded an emergency show the same evening. This happened. Chris packed Messi straight away. He called it the best pick he'd ever had, even though he doesn't like Team of the Year.

[00:12:22] Then felt he was spoiled because friends missed out. Dan nearly missed it. But Yngwie told him he was still there if you kept scrolling. So Yngwie, you got it also. And Dan got it. I just did a 14 hours of Team of the Year marathon session making content. And then I just closed off the game to take a wee nap. And woke up to Messi. And this was my most horrific night ever in FIFA. Oops. This was actually happened.

[00:12:51] And my excuse was, of course, it breaks the power curve. Everyone has a Messi. You guys said it can't be that bad. According to EA, 0.7% of people had it. I was the only one who didn't have it. I think 0.7% didn't have it. Dan said EA would probably do nothing. Chris wanted a free Team of the Year player pack for everyone else.

[00:13:16] Three days later, Archon did five cup games and ran into Team of the Year Messi four times. I want to know who of us was right about what EA did next. What did they do to compensate for this? Chris, you said you will get a free Team of the Year player pick. No chance. Daniel said they will probably do nothing. I said, I have no idea, but they should be doing something. What happened?

[00:13:46] I think they did nothing. I think they did nothing. I think they just let it. I think the meta gave people some slight compensation, but I think they did pretty much nothing. Yngwie, do you remember what happened? I think they gave a free player pick or something, the same one that you did. Yeah, but they tuned down the year. Yeah, of course they did. They removed the player pick and then put it back up as a compensation

[00:14:17] and gave a free. Yeah. I got a Juarez from it, I think. This is the funny thing, John. See if they had actually just gave people the Team of the Year, right? It wouldn't matter too much. But actually, can you imagine the goodwill that they would still have to this day? Yeah. They don't realise that because people go, when we slag off EA at the moment, because of the perk of or the lack of promo cards or whatever, people go, well, do you remember that time in Messiegate? And they gave us that.

[00:14:46] Yeah, I remember that. How good was that? And they would have got a lot of goodwill, but they decided, as usual, not to go for that. Nope. I got some predictions or calls we made throughout the way over the past years, which I want to see how much we were off or how right we were about certain things. Right? The first one I had in mind was April 18th in 2025, episode 675,

[00:15:15] which sounds a long while ago, if you've come to think about it. This was Archon. And he says, the Easter pack cards, mark my words, you won't remember them in two days, let alone in two years. It's almost one and a half year ago. I have no idea which cards those were, to be quite honest. So I think Archon was pretty right. But do you remember the Easter cards? Easter cards? No. No. Don't remember Easter cards ever. Me neither.

[00:15:47] So. No, he was right. He was right. He was right. And then on May 7th, 2025, on the Wednesday Club, Daniel said, Matthias Cunha's Premier League Team of the Season cards, 98 page and 94 shooting, sold for 338k. That's absolutely ridiculous. But the only thing is he doesn't have, he has zero play styles, passing play styles. In the old days, he said,

[00:16:17] I guaranteed this Cunha card will have a two or three million coin worth. He also said right afterwards, I do think Cunha might be joining Man United soon, which he actually did three months later. I think that was a good call from him. Yeah. Chris said in April, Team of the Season, Team of the Year is the worst promo ever. Did that come true? No, I'm just kidding.

[00:16:47] I'm just kidding. In 2024, in episode 6105, Chris says, A Team of the Season pack is coming to the store. I guarantee it and it will ruin the promo. Did we ever get a Team of the Season pack in store, Invin? No, I don't think so. I don't think so either, no. I do think, though, that they're starting to move to that. Yeah, you said that back then in 2024 as well. Yeah, I think the tokens are pretty much moving towards,

[00:17:18] you know, being able to pick players. It's my personal feeling. There's a lot of tokens now. Yeah. That didn't come true, though, yet. This one is also a messy gate one, where Daniel says EA will do nothing about the broken 86-plus pick. He won't even get a messy loan. He was 100%. He was correct to that one. Yep. This one was just funny. In June 2023, Daniel said, with Chris,

[00:17:48] give a win when the opponent quits at level scores and pre-orders will double. And Dan also said, but please see the terms and conditions when you buy the game. That still not happened, eh? It changed a little bit, though. It's changed a little bit. You know, people quit. I mean, what is it, one half now that's angry that when people quit? Yeah, I think it's past 20 minutes in game. If they go through the menu and quit, but if they just die sport, the match doesn't count.

[00:18:17] So they kind of haven't fixed that still. Yeah. Halfway. 50-50. 50-50, that one. Yeah. 50-50. They're thinking about it, at least. Chris says in episode 522 in May 2023, every new promotion we get will have a year two and year two is always watered down. I don't think Chris was wrong there, Ingrid. No, he wasn't. Because,

[00:18:46] remember the fun Scream promos? Yeah. They have only got worse. Yeah. Now you don't even get the worst cards. That's the best. You don't even pack anything now. You don't get the worst cards. That's how bad it is. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? The cards are, they've reduced them. You know what I mean? But actually, you don't even see the reduced cards now. It's a bizarre system at the moment. Yeah. But I, it's the game dead, guys.

[00:19:16] At the moment? Yeah. Yeah. Chris? What was that? Sorry, John, I missed that. It's the game dead. No, not at all. I played it tonight before I come on. Yeah. So, I've already assisted with a goalkeeper and I've scored a hat-trick with my German female league. No, I don't think the game, no, the game isn't dead. I'm still playing. Well, it's not dead in that per se, but I've never seen so much negativity that it's now, I don't, never.

[00:19:47] Okay. We've been asking that question 97 times over the past 750 episodes. And the only one that always says yes is Yngwie. Yeah, yeah. I have a lot of no's from Dan, Adam, Dan, Nathan, Chris, John, Shaq, Neil, Homer, everyone says no, except Yngwie, who says yes 94% of the time. Oh, Yngwie, you negative Nancy, you.

[00:20:17] And I did actually get you to say yes again today. Set us up there. That one wasn't, that's why I couldn't send you the notes, but that one wasn't in the script, but I'm glad it worked out. Guys, I want to run a little halftime show with you guys talking about the numbers. I got a couple of highlights from below. We were posting this, we'll put it in the chat and stuff because there's no need

[00:20:46] to read everything up, but we started this on August 9th, 2019. This is episode 750. Can you guess how many episodes we actually published? Oh, published as in on just released on bonus shows, exclusive shows, whatever. Must be close to a thousand, I would think. Nine hundred, nine hundred something, twenty? Maybe

[00:21:15] thousands too much, but yeah, between nine hundred and a thousand, I would think. Eight hundred and forty-seven. That's very nice numbers. They're saying over six hundred and twenty-seven hours of foot talk. If we put it on play, I'm not saying I did that, but we did have to do some research for this show. That's over twenty-six days of non-stop foot talk. That's a lot, eh? Yeah. The average length of an episode

[00:21:45] is forty-four minutes. That's good. In twenty-twenty, the lockdown period, we made one hundred and ninety-three shows in three hundred and sixty-five days. In twenty-twenty-one, we made one hundred and fifty-five shows, but those were longer shows. So, in content, twenty-twenty-one was the busy. Mm-hmm. Of course, our busiest month ever was June twenty-twenty-six,

[00:22:14] not so long ago because we did thirty episodes in thirty days of a World Cup episode, right? Nice. And we did that in July 2022 as well with twenty-three episodes doing it on every single game day, right? Um, mystery for you guys. If you look at the feed on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever, it starts at episode five. What happened to the rest?

[00:22:44] You took them off, did you know? They're on YouTube, some of them. Some of our YouTube. Episode one and two officially survived on the YouTube channel, Food Coaching. Yeah. They're still available there. What happened to three, four, and five? You need to answer that one, I wasn't here. I don't know if we did some on Twitch or something that broke. No, I, we, we had a another podcast provider back then.

[00:23:14] I migrated the shows and I accidentally deleted the shows from my files. So when we migrated, we lost episode three and four. Wow. It's like the lost Doctor Who files. You can't, a series, you can't ever find them back. But interesting if any of the listeners do remember those ones, so three, four, and five. Five is online, so we only missed three and four. Oh, sorry, three and four. So we did make an episode zero, but it was a stream only. So if you, if you know three and four, tell us in the comments how good it was. You know,

[00:23:44] did John really look like he was about seven during that? 50 people have seen episode one, by the way. So it started with 50 people listening. It's a little bit different than these days. Yeah. For the first episode, I think it's nice. It was all right. It was definitely all right. Yeah. My, my intro was a little bit off though, but let's not go there. Our longest episode was 106 minutes. Wow. It was a Christmas special with a shout out to the guys from the casual food podcast.

[00:24:15] On December 23rd, we did a holiday special. Our second longest was 98 minutes, where we talked about the Nick notes from FIFA 22. The third longest was the fact we needed to talk about FOMO in 2021. It was 90 minutes, but how long was our shortest episode? Which is episode 134 and it's called the shortest review ever. Who knows?

[00:24:45] 22 minutes, I would say. 19. Two minutes. All right. Special episode, I guess. I haven't listened back to that one. Guys, the most topics, I looked at all the titles and was checking out what is the topic we put in the title and the topic we put in the title the most is SBCs. In 249 episodes, we talk about SBCs. Team of the

[00:25:15] season is at 92. Team of the year is 44, but Chris wasn't on any of them. But here's the big question. If you look at titles, do we mention Messi or Ronaldo more? Messi. I would say Ronaldo. Messi has 19 episodes named after him, whilst Ronaldo has nine. That's favoritism, John. I hosted

[00:25:44] none of the Messi ones, I hosted all the Ronaldo ones. Ronaldo was probably playing for Juventus at the time or something. That's why you're loved in Argentina so much. Yes, exactly. Yeah. Let's not bring that up, shall we? Also, shout out to the Argentina listeners, by the way, because we've been wrong there. I don't know why. Because you've been slagging them off in the World Cup, John. That's why. Guys, guys, this was the most work I've put

[00:26:14] into any episode, because we've been counting how many shows everyone did. Of course, you have to count from episode one and we're missing two shows. But from 2019 to 2026, from all the hosts, I'll just go from the bottom to the top and you guys can mention the top three. Tommy was a part of the show for 18 episodes, still part of the Discord.

[00:26:44] Adam, for 20, unfortunately stopped playing. Archon, still part of the team, but has a basketball career on the Friday night, is at 25, who remembers Aaron with 37 episodes. And of course, Nishant, all the way from India these days, also at 37. Of course, our Benjamin of the group currently is Neil. He has currently 38 appearances on the show already. So he's getting up there. With our US president, Andrew, at 41.

[00:27:15] James Toland, who has to retire this year, but is at 50 episodes, also guest starred three times before he became part of the team. And of course, John Kirkham with 56, closely followed up with Homer at 59. Shaq has a wonderful 106 appearances currently. Nathan, 118. Daniel, 193. So that's a big gap and a big

[00:27:45] leap to get from Shaq and Nathan still. And then we go into the top three. Who are the three people here on this episode? Who do you reckon who is number three? That would be me. The man who hates team of the year. It is you with 229. So 30 of this one episode. So what? Still impressive. Did you know you made your debut, Chris? Do you know when you made your debut? Wow. So when

[00:28:15] did you start 2019? Yes. I would say somewhere in 2020, I think. August 2020. 11th of August actually. In episode 130. Wow. I know who came before. I would say that it was Nishant, John, then myself. Well, I should have

[00:28:44] put this on order. I think that's how it works. You guys were the OGs. So this is what happened. Yngwie and me were first. Tommy joined as a guest, not as a crew member. In episode 78, we had James Stogland in. Okay. 78 already, right? On episode 96, in July 2020, Daniel joined. Right. 2020 already. In 104,

[00:29:15] Nishant joined. There you go. Nishant. John joined. Mm-hmm. In episode 105, a week later, August 2020, with Chris, of course, another eight days later, in 11 August 2020. So, John is one week earlier than you. Yeah. Yeah. And we had Tyler joining in November 2020, Aaron 21, Nathan 21, Ryan. We had

[00:29:44] Ryan on board, almost forgotten about Ryan, 2021, in a naming episode, insights from our pro player, Ryan. Shaq made his appearance in episode in 2021, talking about EA's wielding the banhammer. That sounds interesting. We had Kyle, can't forget about Kyle, joining in 2022, Arjun in 2024, Graham in May 2025, episode 680, and of course, Neil joined SDR Benjamin

[00:30:14] in July 2025, in an episode called Theme of the Year, FC 25, featuring Chris, this is the worst promo ever. Yngwie, you have made a whopping 286 appearances. Wow. Not that man. Thank you. And I got a lot of episodes, but that's not too much for us, but I think 229 episodes and 286 episodes is rather impressive, guys. Thank you for joining

[00:30:44] me all those years. It's been a pleasure. Still enjoy it a lot. Is this a goodbye? No, no. Just a reference, I made approximately 603 episodes as host. Wow. But guys, of course, we got a dynamic duos. We always talk about dynamic duos, right? Yeah. Did you know, I and James, James and me, I should say,

[00:31:13] made 38 shows together. That's pretty cool. Dan and Nathan made 40 shows. Nathan and Shaq have surpassed them. With 41 shows. Chris and Invy, you both together, made 42 shows. Cool. Cool. Chris, we did 84 shows together. Nice goodness. And Invy, we did 87 shows. Oh. Beat again. Beat again. And demand a recount.

[00:31:42] But now I've got something for you guys. I've got a little bit of a quiz to finish the show off, right? Round one is all about who said it. Play along if you are listening to the show and following us for years. We'll see how far we get. Round one is who said this. All right. It's one of the hosts, of course, right? So I will say a quote. You guys say who said it, I'll tell you when and what's it all about. Number one, FC is like the only pub in the village.

[00:32:12] Who described the game like this with a beer garden full of dog poo and flat beer? Nathan? Wembe. It was Chris. Episode 583. Zero points for you. Who called this one? You could know. Who called a team of the season center back the slowest 90 pace defender he had ever used in any FIFA?

[00:32:44] Me? Nathan? Which one did you say in Ingram? Huh? I said me? Yeah, you are correct. It was Ingram. About Ruben Diaz in episode 519. That was a horrible card for me. One point for Ingram. Which host had Kebabgate? Yes, Kebabgate. A free kebab, then spent the next show waiting for a washing machine delivery, and ran off mid-show waiting for his washing

[00:33:14] machine. Kebab makes me think I need some reason to Lando? It was Ingram. Two shows in a row you had to jump off. One because you got a free kebab somehow, and the second one because you were waiting for your washing machine all day, and suddenly you were gone while recording. I remember that,

[00:33:44] yeah, sorry. who opened the show as episode 582 was corrected and didn't stop the recording but just said 582 plus one instead? Chris? It seems like me. I always get the numbers wrong. It was you, yes. And your excuse? You have put the wrong number in the notes, Joel. Yes.

[00:34:14] You made the notes, by the way. All right, okay. In episode 519, what was my most unpopular opinion of the week? Something came new in this game. I loved it. If you check a WhatsApp group, you might actually have seen a chat about it today as a little bit of a hint. I loved it, but I was about the only one in the FIFA world that loved this change. That it changed the chemistry system?

[00:34:44] Not with the lines anymore? to get players on chemistry? The champs qualifiers? Weekend league qualifiers? Yngvi steals this point again. It wasn't good. I love the new chemistry system. Kyle backed him up, but every other person in the FIFA community hated me for that thing. All right. This one you could have known if you were paying attention a couple of minutes ago, right?

[00:35:14] How many hours of food in review are in the feed? Are in? The feed are publicly available. If people were paying attention to this show, they could have known it by now. How many in the feed? Yes. How many hours? Hours? 26? For

[00:35:46] 26 days. 26 days. Hours now. That was a trick question. I know. It is 26 days. It's 627 hours. I'll give you a point. It's totally fine. 26 days. Okay. What was the longest podcast episode ever? Not how long, but which was it? You remember? How long it was? Was it 80 minutes? Was it 80 minutes? No, it was more than that. It was 107, I think, but I can't remember which episode it was. No.

[00:36:16] It was a Christmas special. Yes. Yes, of course, of course. Okay, this one. All right. On which day of the week does an episode almost never come out? Thursday. Thursday. The answer is, and it might surprise you, Sunday. I was thinking about Sunday, but I thought I could remember. We are releasing on Sundays currently for the last 47 weeks. But prior to that, we never released

[00:36:45] an episode. All right. That's probably why. That was also a trick question. Sorry, guys. Invy, this is a super question for you. In episode one on July 12th, 2019, we said hello, footies, and we talked about a promo called footies. Which four footing cards did we review? No, no, I have to pause. I can't remember that.

[00:37:16] Chris, any thoughts? I think there'd be a Messi in there. Potentially. no. Van Dijk? No, I'll tell you. Quincy Promes. Oh, wow. Chucky Lozano, Herrera, and Kingsley Como. Yeah, no wonder I didn't remember those footies. And I saw it when I watched the stream. I was like, oh yeah,

[00:37:46] those are cool cards. I remember the promos cards were popular until he went a little bit offline. Offline, that's very funny. Exactly, yeah. Yeah. We've seen no more on it. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. Nope, nope, let's not go there. Guys, these were fun moments and some fun predictions in all the previous 749 episodes we did, right? And I was wondering,

[00:38:16] in 250 weeks from now, we'll have bonus shows and stuff as well. Let's say we're at episode 1000. Hopefully we make it, the earth will still be there when we get that point. FIFA will still be there when we get to that point, hopefully. Let's say we're at episode 1000, we're celebrating this and I'm looking back. What would actually be like the quote or the prediction? What would be your prediction which we can look back to and say, okay, that actually happened?

[00:38:45] In-game, let's just talk about FIFA. In-game? Yeah, just something in-game in FIFA games or what happened to EA or whatever. Something to come back to. That will be happening from now on until episode 1000. Yeah. EA will make headers more relevant. Okay, I'm going to save that one. Headers are viable by Yngvi, episode 750. All right, Chris.

[00:39:15] I think we'll still have rivals, squad battles and champs as the three main modes. And 250 episodes, I know a lot of people are getting fed up of it and want to try something else, but I think those three core modes will still be the three core modes and they'll try other things, but they'll not be replaced those three modes. And moments will be gone. Moments will still be there but nobody will remember them. Just shoved up a corner. Nobody's touched them since 250 episodes,

[00:39:45] they'll still be there. But that's what I think, I think the three core modes will stay the same because I don't think they can replace them, in honesty. What about yourself, John? I think you will still call Team of the Year the worst promo. 100%, I hate that promo. It'll never change. Honestly, in the last four years I've packed a team of the year at least once and I still hate that promo. I haven't packed one in four years, I think. I'm not going to mention any of my packed balls. No, you shouldn't. But what do you think, John,

[00:40:15] would be a quote we can pin up there on the board for you? Advertisement in gaming. Head breaks in FIFA. Head breaks? Hydration breaks. Hydration breaks. No, they can't do that. He said it, he can't do it. I think technically they probably can, but I don't think people won't. Can I ask you then, just as remaining predictions, I've always thought this is going to happen,

[00:40:45] and I think I've probably said this for the last 200 episodes. Do you think there will be a time in the store where you can buy a player for cash? Not until before episode thousand, but in the future I think yes. Yeah, you think there will be it? I mean, I hate the new gem system, don't like it, no get used to it, but do you think you could, you'll see a time where Mbappé will

[00:41:13] be 10,000 FIFA points or 25,000 FIFA points? Yeah, absolutely. John, do you think the same? As you say with team of the year predictions, 100 million percent. It will happen before we hit episode thousand, I think. That'll be interesting, it'll be interesting to come back and look at that point and go, did the store actually become a shop? Let's see if we can manage it until episode thousand, shall we? In all seriousness though, guys, and I'll

[00:41:43] aim at the audience, of course, for this as well, because we've been putting the record button on, we've been going through about three mixers now, we've had dozens of microphones carried in the office, rebuilt studios, we've done shows all over the world, we're actually going to do a live show in two and a half weeks from now, Chris, as well. We've run multiple events, I don't even remember on top of my mind how many events we did, we did more than 850

[00:42:12] episodes, I have, but we were counting somewhere, I think I did 1100 and a little bit, episodes in total, like there's a lot of episodes we pushed out which weren't even numbered, right? So I think if we all look back, not only on the public feed, but on the Patreon feed, we've had, we've reached those 1000 episodes, but the most important thing, we do this because you, the listener, you, the viewer, show up, comment on all the videos, respond to

[00:42:42] our social media, back, and we pressed the record button once again. The only reason why we are here on a Friday night working to 2am to get a show out for all Patreons, Patreon supporters, and of course getting the show out on a Sunday morning while everyone else is drinking beer, you guys, but it's because you guys care and so

[00:43:12] would do we. So we appreciate you, we want to thank you for all the support you've been giving us, not only financially, of course, we couldn't do that without this, but definitely by just putting in the numbers. And if you care, if this is the show you've been listening to for 700 episodes, if this is a show you're listening to for seven episodes, just share it with one one friend. That's all we ask. If you can share it or give us a review, we are helped so much by this, it's so beneficial for us, but also

[00:43:42] we are truly grateful for you spending time with us. Doesn't have to be the 26 days, but it is very important for us. It means the world. Thank you so much. And after all these years, there's still one thing left for us to do. And that is to drop it. Drop it. Drop it. You. You. You. You. You.

[00:44:12] You. You. You. You. You. view
