[00:03:36] I do have something where I was. Let me just state that it's a little bit of a teaser for the end of the show, I guess.

[00:03:43] But I've been very vocal about a certain aspect hint formation in this game.

[00:04:00] And I'm almost there for now. From my last 20 matches, I think I lost one.

[00:04:42] I'm just a little bit confused, I guess, since EA changed the playstyle+ on him.

[00:04:49] He had the PowerShell+ which is one of the nice ones, I think, for an attacker.

[00:04:54] He got a Trivella and we've seen the patch notes for the upcoming current gen patch that's already out on the old generation.

[00:05:06] Nerfing the Trivella shots. So, I'm kind of disappointed that they removed his playstyle+ and kind of exchanged it with one that's not going to be that good just in a few days.

[00:05:22] They could have given him an extra, given him two playstyles. If he kept the playstyle+ and got the Trivella one, it would be the second one.

[00:05:35] It's not going to be a game-breaking card anyways, so that would be fine.

[00:05:39] But I'm not a big fan of removing playstyles and changing them to kind of playstyles we know that's not going to work as well.

[00:05:51] It's like why?

[00:05:54] But it is what it is, I guess.

[00:05:57] No, it's a hard one. Let me first say what I've seen this week on the old gen.

[00:06:03] Of course, I don't play that too much, so it's sort of a second-hand opinion, I'd say, is that it's not that bad nerf.

[00:06:12] It just stops in realistic 35m shots from happening, right?

[00:06:18] So I have to see what the patch, I wish the patch was already out on the new gen, but I'm expecting it next week.

[00:06:23] No one can definitely say.

[00:06:26] I don't care too much on playstyles or great cards, so I'll just look at this one.

[00:06:31] That fits me if not me, let it go.

[00:06:34] But I've seen plenty of event with matches, I've seen plenty of flower with matches, I don't think he actually knows on the outside of the food works.

[00:06:42] Yeah, it's not very related, if you had scored like 3-4 goals during the month, doing the 3-wheeler shots fair enough, then it would be fine, I guess.

[00:06:55] But yeah, as you said, I haven't seen him do that ever, I think.

[00:07:00] So that one doesn't kind of make sense to me.

[00:07:04] I mean, if you give from Boston, that's the wrong example.

[00:07:08] Again, that was one of those cards which then messed up as well.

[00:07:11] So now it's seriously though, he is cheap, 60K, 70K, something around that.

[00:07:17] The card, 95 finishing, 93 positioning, 91 shot power, with 90 composure, rated decent card on the lane before the cheap 4-star 4-star as well.

[00:07:28] Except for the 3-fielder plus, it's not a bad card.

[00:07:32] Yeah, that's why I said, just, I wouldn't mind if they added it as a 2 and then you got 2 playstyle plus, which there are several cards already having that.

[00:07:40] Anyways, then it would be fine, but he could be quite useful with power shot plus, I think, at least he would make him much better with finishing because those are quite fun.

[00:07:53] Those shots, I think.

[00:07:55] I agree.

[00:07:56] Then again, the 87 rated one was already of great at inform and that one is 25K and just the minus one on most stats with the power shot plus.

[00:08:07] So, if anything, if you really want to use them, probably better off, get the mean for it.

[00:08:13] Yeah, cheap profit as well if you don't have the father, so.

[00:08:17] Definitely, plus better dynamic image.

[00:08:19] Yeah, that as well.

[00:08:21] We also got a future star SPC, Claudia Pinna, which looks quite good, I think.

[00:08:35] Forza Skimers, 5 star Bigfoot, high attacking medium, defensive work rates.

[00:08:42] With some good stats, I think, maybe not the best stamina, but she has the incisive pass, which is a quite nice playstyle plus and the finished shot plus, which is still very nice for lots of players.

[00:08:59] So, some very good playstyles already with passing.

[00:09:04] And she can start camps and their mid and left winger.

[00:09:10] So, I think she could be a fun player to have.

[00:09:13] She's around 210K at the moment to do the SPC, so I think that's she plays for Barcelona in the Women's League.

[00:09:21] So, I think that's an OK price for her, could be a fun card use.

[00:09:27] At least.

[00:09:29] Definitely.

[00:09:30] I'm not going to fit my team, but finally priced.

[00:09:35] Yeah.

[00:09:36] Pretty cool card.

[00:09:38] Yeah, I think she kind of suits the promo as well.

[00:13:03] It's like... meet the young star shining bright enough to light the road ahead, a new era led by the new generation of future stars who play the game their way and show who they are every time they take the pitch.

[00:13:17] Each future star upgrade represents the potential these under 23 players have to rise from one to kid to world class as their career progresses, which is fine, but...

[00:13:31] There are players that are well established in their teams already, which I think is a little bit wrong to include them because of this, like Lauren James, 150 games for Chelsea already played in the World Cup and kind of a young shining star already has lots of promo cards.

[00:13:54] So, I think that's kind of a wrong selection. Same with Alex Balde, he's young.

[00:14:01] He gets on guard every two promo.

[00:14:03] Yeah, he already has a promo card as well, and...

[00:14:08] well, he had a team of the season card last year, so I kind of think he is disqualified to being in this promo because of that.

[00:14:18] I would rather prefer players that didn't have any promo cards at all this year at least, and maybe not before as well.

[00:14:25] Boniface already has Player of the Month as well, two cards.

[00:14:33] Well, he has a Player of the Month card, and then he has this group stages card. It is 7 rated, so that kind of disqualifies him as well.

[00:14:48] Same with Hari Rollett. I feel like he's been playing for a little bit now a few seasons already.

[00:14:54] He's maybe not a World Star, but I still think he shouldn't be in the promo because of this.

[00:15:03] Kind of Garnacho as well. He's close to, he's very well established from and just united at the moment.

[00:15:10] He's had lots of promo cards already. People have done evolutions, lots of different evolutions from him as well.

[00:15:21] Oh, we've seen before that.

[00:15:23] real life performance doesn't matter too much on these things, right?

[00:15:27] You talk about Baldur, I don't think he played without trying to defend anyone at Barsa,

[00:15:31] I've seen a lot of more Barsa matches this year, did he actually play one good match this year?

[00:15:36] He's not even starting 11 anymore, so future star, eh, not sure.

[00:15:41] Yeah, that's... yeah, Doku is probably kind of 50/50, if you look at the, he just had a proper break through

[00:15:53] this year, but he also has, yeah, he had an informal last year, he had a promo card in FIFA 21,

[00:16:07] he had a promo card in FIFA 22 as well, the foot birthday in FIFA 22, so I think kind of disqualifies him as well.

[00:16:17] Playing for Manchester City as well, I think they could have selected someone else from Manchester City,

[00:16:25] if they wanted a player from that, so...

[00:16:27] Oh, well, you could buy an Enno now, for a 15k, if you want.

[00:17:27] That's what I wanted to talk about, talking about poor execution.

[00:17:31] Yeah, that's also great potential, this could have been so cool if you could have had the requirements set,

[00:17:41] and the players had to be under 23, but it shouldn't be restricted to some clubs or some players,

[00:17:50] it could be your favorite World Soul player, or whatever club, Reading, late Norient,

[00:17:59] viking in Norway, or whatever, some cool unknown clubs with the players that probably will never get a promo card.

[00:18:08] That's long as you are playing it for everyone, though, that now listening to the shot, like, what happened?

[00:18:13] Or I think we said about the selection for Evo players?

[00:18:17] Yes.

[00:18:18] If we explain this, you basically open a pack that has a couple of attackers in it, 9 attackers.

[00:18:25] You select 1, a 182 rate of attacker from the pack, which is a free card, so, hey, that's cool.

[00:18:32] And those are the players you are able to use in that evolution to upgrade all the way up.

[00:18:37] But your idea is it would be so much more fun if they just say, hey, the player can be maximum 22-year-old,

[00:18:45] 23-year-old, maximum, I don't know, 18-secretators, whatever, and upgrade that and choose your own player from a team you support.

[00:18:53] Yes.

[00:18:56] I can't say I disagree there, and I find it really funky, they put in 9 attackers.

[00:19:02] And then, when do we get the midfielders, and can we do multipliers at the same time?

[00:19:08] I'm so confused by evolution still.

[00:19:10] Yeah, it's -- and when I also -- it's kind of annoying, I'm sorry, I don't want to be negative, but we --

[00:19:20] We have players from those 9 selections that already has promo cards as well.

[00:19:29] We have Melvin Mallar, plays from Manchester United, she has an informal ready, she has a road to the knockout card already.

[00:19:41] I don't know why -- this is a card that shouldn't be one of those attackers that you could do, at all, I think.

[00:19:50] Same with Brian Brabe, he has one inform, he has two player of the month, SPC is currently available as well.

[00:20:02] And I don't know how many different type of evolutions that has been done with this card.

[00:20:10] Still low, low work rates as well.

[00:20:13] It's of course great for Ajax fans, but I'm pretty sure they could have found another big talent from Ajax

[00:20:20] that didn't have any promo cards now, instead of using Brabe.

[00:20:25] It's like kind of lacy, I guess, in my opinion.

[00:20:33] So, and that's, of course, not your favorite player, so I guess he's not going to be upgraded by you at least.

[00:31:05] I'm pretty much done with having promos with players you can't achieve and then when I put in, you know what we're making future stars, you can do evolutions to get your young players up there.

[00:31:16] There's just a small selection in a limited time where you have to put in a lot of effort to be able to use those players on the highest level.

[00:31:24] Which probably in the next promo we'll get another promo card which is better than it was we just evoked.

[00:31:29] But why didn't EA do like they did on the centurions? Because that would be better.

[00:31:35] Maldenica had the 92 base card and then he also got a younger type of card, 90 rated.

[00:31:44] That would be perfect for future star promo.

[00:31:48] Yeah but they were like "yeah we've already done that" and they're like "oh yeah that's fine"

[00:31:52] That shouldn't have been done with the icons on the centurion promo. They should have saved that idea for this future star one. That would be cool.

[00:33:18] Mate I'm not a big EVO player thingy right? So when they got a message saying they broke evolutions.

[00:33:29] Chaining has stopped. I actually had to consult Mr. Fee for Database himself.

[00:33:33] What is EVO chaining and boys hasn't stopped now?

[00:33:39] Well evolution chaining is people haven't been too happy with the requirements for lots of evolution

[00:33:46] and there's been lots of creative people on socials trying to find out how to get their favorite players

[00:33:57] and other players better than maybe what EA wanted.

[00:34:01] So they found out that you could do and start an evolution.

[00:34:05] You could do some steps and not claim the finished evolution to make them certain rating and stats.

[00:34:15] And then there's a new evolution out that these half finished cards would fit into.

[00:34:22] But if you had finished everything then they wouldn't.

[00:34:25] So then you could put them in a new evolution.

[00:34:28] So I'll take an example for an evolution with the Mr. Simmer mom in the German Bundesliga two or three.

[00:34:37] People put him into growth spurt I think and didn't claim him.

[00:34:44] Then they put him into evolution called Patuku did one step there not claiming it.

[00:34:52] And then now put him into the fast forward one before that expired.

[00:34:58] Doing all the way to level four but not claim the last card.

[00:35:03] And tomorrow that card will be possible to put into the team of the air center back evolution.

[00:35:12] And you can finish that and you can claim all the other ones that you didn't claim.

[00:35:17] So that card will be 99 rated in game.

[00:35:22] And that's what I have stopped I can understand it.

[00:35:26] But of course this has been really fun to follow and now there's been a way to do it with the red pick evolutions as well.

[00:35:38] To kind of stop the first step that EA tried to do to stop these.

[00:35:43] Now the EA is going to close that door as well with the next batch of red evolutions.

[00:35:50] Then it's going to kind of be I don't know how people are going to do it but it doesn't look very very hopeful to do this type of crazy cards then.

[00:36:00] There's so many interesting cards that I've seen with even three play styles as well.

[00:36:07] So there are some very creative people out there that deserve praise and kind of for racing the awareness and making the game more I think for me.

[00:36:19] At least fun making this possible.

[00:36:22] Because this is a way that you can get a team of the air type of card without having millions to spend.

[00:36:30] That should be usable.

[00:36:32] It should be useful.

[00:36:34] Yeah.

[00:36:35] So much usable.

[00:36:42] You can't do it anymore because basically now the evolution says.

[00:37:06] I understand EA doing it but I think it would be nice to just loosen up a little bit on the requirements for some of these because there have been some.

[00:37:15] Evolution that would have been really cool with some really great players and then that player had plus one in physicals or something that disqualified him from the evolution, which is pretty annoying.

[00:37:28] So maybe meeting the middle would be nice.

[00:37:34] I kind of.

[00:37:35] Yeah, that's my that's my view at least make make them a little bit looser for the requirements.

[00:37:40] And I think people wouldn't have to be creative to to learn.

[00:37:47] Yeah, you know, chaining.

[00:37:48] If it was a little bit more possible to have more players and more.

[00:37:53] Well, why the range of possibilities, I guess.

[00:40:17] Is it for you grinding content skills, packs, composition, or something else?

[00:40:23] Can you imagine the conversation being the one that you play?

[00:40:27] Or do you manage to only think about the game when you play like a regular health human perhaps?

[00:40:33] No, it takes quite a few hours out of my day.

[00:40:38] It's a nice thing to kind of spend time on after a long day with lots of heavy stuff at work.

[00:40:47] Trying to find new stuff to do, building teams, doing evolutions.

[00:40:53] Reprecating type of play in game as well.

[00:40:58] I want kind of not doing all the meta glitchy things that are possible to do in game.

[00:41:05] I play more kind of normal pass and move crosses that type of football as well.

[00:41:13] You can see lots of goals, but at least I score goals that are possible in real life I guess.

[00:41:32] I've seen a silver player scoring some insane Trivelas.

[00:41:53] Because I know one day there might be a problem when you can't do them anymore and your mind is kind of locked to doing all those.

[00:42:01] So for me I think it's more fun to have different types of way of scoring.

[00:42:06] Same with the cutbacks, I can't do them.

[00:42:09] So I hope that will be a little bit adjusted, but I think that was maybe taking away from the pitch notes that the AI on cutbacks were adjusted.

[00:42:20] I think that got removed, so I'm guessing we'll have to stick with facing that for a while more.

[00:42:25] I can see the four of those last night in one match, even though I tried to mark the passing lanes and have second man press.

[00:42:33] My player still ran away and the goalkeeper, I don't know what he was doing, but I had no interest in trying to cut the ball and save it.

[00:42:42] So that's something I would like to see less of in-game in the future.

[00:42:48] My thing is probably tactics, just play in.

[00:42:52] I'm just playing play guy anyway, so if I got nuked players, okay, I'll cook a new player where they put them in, but I also have no big deal just benching any player.

[00:43:08] I like having a good team, like I think I've got a pretty cool squad.

[00:43:12] It helps play in, but I'm not like, oh, maybe I should put him on the left side.

[00:43:16] Maybe I'm someone that, for example, I played with Alaba where Nathan in the first match we played, hey, he should be in the left side mate with his food.

[00:43:58] Is it best to use them for AsPCC to wait until those coins can upgrade a player or find some sort of low maintenance in all investments?

[00:44:06] I feel like coins are less valuable than ever and makes for an interesting discussion, perhaps.

[00:44:14] Yeah, that I've been kind of in the same boat.

[00:44:19] I've had some coins that previous years would upgrade my team without a problem, but now it's like almost impossible.

[00:44:28] I feel to upgrade the team unless you have four or five millions, which is crazy.

[00:44:35] So if you like to gamble and do SPCs and spending coins on that, of course, that's a way you can go further and you might, of course, hit jackpot, but I wouldn't gamble on it.

[00:44:55] I would probably save, if you can, because there might come an SPC that the last steps you need some coins to be able to finish it for one of your favorite players in real life.

[00:45:07] Then it's nice to have those coins available for that, at least.

[00:45:10] I wouldn't just throw all on gambling on SPCs.

[00:45:15] Trading, I would talk with the guys on our Discord, and maybe make a plan, because there are safe ways to trade, that if you lose coins, it's not going to be much, maybe tax.

[00:45:31] And you might end up with lots of more coins being able to reach the price of the player you wanted to buy it.

[00:45:39] I would probably just sit a little bit on the coins and wait and see the prices on the way forward, and maybe there's an SPC coming that you will need those coins to finish anyways.

[00:45:57] I saved a couple of coins until Marco from Boston got a card, which was a gem who was there, really bad, and I just burned it all back and currently I'm sitting on 40,000 coins and it couldn't be.

[00:46:17] going now. If a player arrives, I don't have 3 millions. If I don't have 3 million, the

[00:46:22] team won't get improved by it. I'll just stack folder, buy those. How do you call it

[00:46:28] supplement packs? Should wipe packs later on, if needed, for the next grind?

[00:47:11] something like that. But coins are definitely less valuable than ever, I think. I would

[00:47:16] be like, you have coins, you buy a team of the year player. Once team of the year comes

[00:47:21] out, you'll triple your coins. Anything else? I'm so afraid to even buy a player from the

[00:47:26] market. Because you have no idea what happens. Yeah, I bought the future Star Harvey Elite

[00:47:32] were 171,000 coins, which was I think 10k under the price. Half an hour ago, and now

[00:47:39] he's 131,000 coins. So I can afford to lose that, of course. But it's like some cards,

[00:47:48] they kind of crash like crazy. And then we have the like 4 million Garnacho and 2.789

[00:47:56] million Stoker, 1.5 million James cards that might buy it though. I would feel, I almost

[00:48:05] feel sick of a spent two more million on like Roberta Carlos, three million something just

[00:48:09] now. Say you spent three million on 3.5 million on the left back. And someone says in a review

[00:48:17] this weekend, oh, he's actually not that great of course, only 2.5 million. Yeah, I can't

[00:48:21] play with, I wouldn't be able to play. My full team, a pretty decent team, but fully

[00:48:26] untrogable first on this team, and makes it a little bit easier to ban someone as well.

[00:48:33] Yeah, it's like, yeah, I bought some team of the players and I think I lost a few hundred

[00:48:41] k on all the ones I tried. So I couldn't relax. I just tried them and that's so old

[00:48:47] them because I was like, I'm afraid of losing coins. So if I could buy a Fundai, of course,

[00:48:54] I wouldn't then I wouldn't care because that's an end game card. But of course, it's like

[00:48:59] 14, 15 million. So that's not going to happen anyways. So, yeah, it's what do you do with

[00:49:07] coins? What is the advice we're going to give? Save it for a rainy day. Yeah, I would save

[00:49:15] it for I would probably spend the coins on doing an SPC for one of my favorite players

[00:49:20] or a player like in real life that I knew would go into my team and improve it. I would

[00:49:26] probably save the coins for that or wait and buy the player you want later when the price

[00:49:31] hits the limit you have for that card. I think that that would be my advice at least.

[00:51:53] was on February 7th the last time and it's now we record this on the 9th I think so when

[00:52:00] there was a last time I had the discussion with someone and people ask me is the 4th

[00:52:05] triple 2 any good? Because last year I was pretty solid we all know that right? So my

[00:52:13] honest opinion was the 4th triple 2 is worse than anything else in the game. It's pretty

[00:52:20] much crap but bluntly narrow formations destroy it a 4 to 3 1 destroys it 3 to 5 back destroys

[00:52:30] it. I would just play a 4 for 2 if anything but I wouldn't touch a 4 triple 2. Then I

[00:52:38] watched my team this week. I was like you know what if I do want to use all these nice

[00:52:42] made fielders. There's just one formation which might work sort of. That's a 4th triple 2.

[00:52:47] Well that can't play a 4th triple 2 because I think the gap in mid-field and that's my

[00:52:51] biggest problem with 4th triple 2. There's a huge gap in mid-field and if you play 4th

[00:52:56] 3 2 1 which is very commonly played it can just sprint in the middle and basically if

[00:53:01] you counter you have an option but if you don't counter there's no way of cutting all

[00:53:05] the boss. That's why I think the 4th triple 2 does work. And also white cams don't push

[00:53:10] as hard as white wingers. So I prefer any formation with wingers over that and I don't

[00:53:15] have any wings on my team. So that was an option. So I set up a 4th triple 2. I tried

[00:53:20] tuning in a little bit. I expected it to play a lot first of 4th 3 2 1. So basically

[00:53:25] my golden rule was double lose the ball and possession be a little bit slower. And I started

[00:53:30] in the 4th of season and I am one win away with this one because I lost one in the last

[00:53:37] 20 matches and I won a big streak with a 4th triple 2. I worked one nothing co-op as well.

[00:53:44] So my honest opinion about 4th triple 2 is yes it has one big glaring weakness that's

[00:53:50] a huge gap in mid-field and if you lose the ball in mid-field or your opponent is really

[00:53:55] good they can just run through until they reach the CDM's right. But the trifella is

[00:54:01] getting a little bit of a nerf. Gutbacks get a little bit of a nerf hopefully. And if you

[00:54:07] don't lose the ball in possession so build up slowly you know the big weakness is there.

[00:54:12] It is pretty surprising if I am quite honest and I will put this on the Patreon discord

[00:54:20] this weekend so it will be in the vip area the tactics. I think after this podcast I might

[00:54:24] be able to post it right away. So try it. Make sure you don't lose the ball but to have

[00:54:31] surprised me completely. I also don't experience anyone else playing it currently so that maybe

[00:54:36] that's the reason why it helps me tremendously. Yes my team is good. I don't have any weakness

[00:54:43] that I have any speed in my team and yeah I was sort of surprised. So sorry for my maybe

[00:54:51] and too hasty of an opinion. I still like facing it because if people do lose the ball

[00:54:56] hmm probably true. If you play it patiently it is pretty strong. And I actually load my

[00:55:04] voice saying that a little bit. Yeah. So that's my confession. Yeah well slash apologizing

[00:55:16] for the fact I dis that formation too hard. Which means it shows also and that's the main

[00:55:22] point. There's no formation here which is overpowered. I think they all have weaknesses

[00:55:27] they all have strengths and I still think the 4200 has a big weakness which can be very

[00:55:32] much exploited but if you're one of the rare players that actually use it well and you

[00:55:39] know what you're facing which is 4.3.2.1. 90% of the time on high levels I'm noticing.

[00:55:47] It's actually pretty much a stable setup. So keep your eyes on that. We'll release every

[00:55:52] tactic of course publicly as well. There are a couple of coming there's a 4.3.2.1 comment.

[00:58:03] he looks 20 but that's beside the points. The 95 right but I backed him in December from

[00:58:08] a pick. Never used to pay like before in this in any FIFA because I always went for

[00:58:14] the R9s in the end and so like that but like the kids say OMG he's fast. His dribbling is

[00:58:23] absolutely nuts and that shot is so fast not even not even only strong and accurate but

[00:58:30] he pulls it up amazingly fast so he's also played it he don't see that often. Like if

[00:58:38] you see a Pele like okay cool Pele but it's not like a very meta player I think but he's

[00:58:44] by far and I don't say this lightly and you know my history with strikers in this game

[00:58:50] but by far the best striker I've ever used. So I would 100% if you ever get percentage

[00:58:57] of it. If you've got I don't even know how much he is currently though but if you like

[00:59:01] Adam and you're sitting on coins just try him out because search an amazing players

[00:59:07] and I've in our community and I've highlighted a lot of goals from him where he just dribbles

[00:59:11] and bounces back and just takes one short scope. It's amazing striker I think he scores

[00:59:17] like 70% of my goals and I got a pretty cool forward line but he takes care of it all.

[00:59:23] Yeah you got the base one that's 3.450 million at the moment. Still a lot of coins for a

[00:59:32] base icon card already. Yeah but he's 95 rated and yeah quite crazy. It's that so I think
