[00:07:01] How did the week go for you? And are you yeah, didn't save John. What about you? Did you save? Well, I don't save. Like I said that two weeks ago, we have to admit that your pack has been tremendously here and also I can't really complain myself. But putting that out of the way, I didn't save because like I said last week and I think even the week before that,

[00:08:21] saving packs is the biggest chance you have to getting something.

[00:09:25] However, it did pack the new Xola card, the new Xavi card.

[00:09:30] And from a random gamble pack, I packed 95 C down card.

[00:09:36] From all the aspects, from all the packs I opened and upgraded into higher folder and stuff, especially the exchange

[00:09:41] thingies are awesome for me.

[00:09:42] I, if I pack it ocean and then stoop, I just do put in the 88, get some more cards,

[00:09:46] recycle those again. Alright, so honestly I wasn't planning to save any packs this year because since I started playing in 2019, I haven't packed any total and I was saving like 300, 400 packs before. So my expectation was low for it. But we had a previous promo, Ice versus Fire, that none of the cards was interesting for

[00:11:02] me, wouldn't make my team for example. Well, I don't think there's an like Chris said last week, these, these cars are rarer than unicorn droppings. And I think that that's true. Right. Um, I, we have to talk about pack weight of course as well, but I do feel like last week when I started just opening everything to the packs came in, just kept go and go and go in the 83 and the 84 times five cards since the defender's thingies and

[00:12:23] stuff, they gave out pretty high cars.

[00:13:25] little bit better I think this time but not much and I just think it's a balance if everybody's running around with blues they're not special when nobody's running around with

[00:13:29] blues it's just frustrating and then it drives you to the store and it drives you to packs

[00:13:35] it doesn't sit well with me personally.

[00:13:40] Yeah, I actually was noting his head. I think we all agree that the weight on the safe packs, but if the weight on store packs, which like there's packs that cost like 45 euros or 40 pounds, something like that, that's 6%. That's the biggest chance you get something like that. So how big is the chance you actually get something from any other thing, right? I think that's the issue. Plus everyone's opening at the same time.

[00:15:01] But what we said like a couple of weeks ago

[00:15:03] is people will save packs,

[00:15:05] meaning there's little supply on cards going. Why, it is why I, it's my favorite and my most disliked promo at the same time. And I'm in a spot where I don't really mind what I do want to discuss though, which you guys don't want to know your opinion about is if you buy packs in store, you get a loan team of the year players, which makes the value of those

[00:16:21] packs a little bit higher, but you can actually use the only year player cards.

[00:16:24] You get them for 10 loan mostly, I think.

[00:17:25] I was facing team, not only with the team of the year, but team of the year icon. And the team had seven, eight loans. And you know, with my regular team, it was just like, you

[00:17:31] know, I just want to hear your opinion about this because this year, why I'm not so disappointed

[00:17:38] not packing the blue one also, because previous FIFA mind loans being in the game. I don't mind loans being in packs either. Simply because of the fact that, especially when cards like Frigida, it goes to 9 million plus, there's just such a small player base that's ever able to use these cards only if

[00:19:01] he maybe played draft, but I know people don get used. Now, I'm not helping myself, but I'm morally, I don't think it's right for me to use those loans and rivals and champs. That's just my opinion. And I'm sitting with, it's the same last year, I think I shoot it. I had dozens of icons at the time, where now those just didn't use them. Because it's not fair. It's not fair. That's just my opinion.

[00:20:23] You know what? I just want to add one thing, John. John, John. Listen, guys, I remember playing a team of the year 9, but two or three years ago with 99 out contracts on it, just playing it throughout. But see, there are some differences because I've got a second account just for fun. And I can't remember when it was started there, but what I got was a 99 game loan of either

[00:21:41] Haaland Van Dyke, I can't remember the most extensive pack currently is 3000 points or 600,000 coins. It actually hurt me to say, if I quit now, it will not count to the game. So, you know, and I was like, split it, what to do here? But I kept playing, I haven't decided to quit. But you know what I mean? Before that, people used to quit if they see the loans in your team.

[00:24:20] Right now, nobody quit it.

[00:24:24] I get quits when people see my team,

[00:24:25] but there's no a bad thing. Yeah and also if you've got those five games on ten games you can only play two at a time. So you'll play two in the first ten, two in the second ten, whatever that works out.

[00:25:41] It's better than somebody facing like up to seven loans someone gave me and you're like

[00:25:44] oh man. last person to actually pitch this. But I'm missing those days where like, you know what, you can play competitive with a little bit of a weirder team. [00:32:23] So that's the proof that how low the upgrades are That gets serious, Enrude van Nistreoy for some reason, which I still refuse to play. Yes. He's not actually not a bad dog about Riff Nistreoy. I know, he even was lucky and managed to snipe Trent at 75. But he's already at 150 now. He's at 150, so there's one. But again, I compared Trent quickly with, I of midfield options and then the train comes out. If you get it, great. You know, if you pull it great, unless you're a diehard Liverpool fan, you're not spending your coins on it, I don't think. No, I agree. I wish these cards would be out of packs for the next week.

[00:35:05] Fake blues, I think that be treatable and I'd probably just sell it. And sell. There is actually one card that I'm looking for in this team and it's a sentry by Kim and Jay. And the only reason is because I, with the fodder yesterday that I packed, I did Afonso Davis left back.

[00:36:23] And as we can see, at least this card has some upgrade.

[00:37:24] But the composure, it's like, I haven't noticed any, I mean, maybe I should pay attention to it,

[00:37:26] but I didn't before, I haven't before.

[00:37:29] My nephew who's better than me, that's where it came from.

[00:37:31] We were on the WhatsApp earlier and he was like,

[00:39:03] Is there any content you would specifically want to highlight next to the honorable mentions? Famine and Vistat are awesome. That's a good point because I got the same right. My team is stacked and far more stacked than it has been at this time of the year. And normally any of these cars that came out will be a huge upgrade for me. But like even the Sava SBC isn't an upgrade for me. So I was sitting this weekend with lots of dupes in my club.

[00:40:23] And I was saying, you know, plenty of options to keep the power level.

[00:41:41] It's higher than usually for this time of year,

[00:41:44] but it's pretty much leveled out across the field. I didn't buy a blue one, I could have bought one and then I was thinking, I could have bought Millie Bright, she looks quite good as CDM as my stay back. And it was like, she was 490 yesterday and she's 650 today. I was like, oh yeah, maybe missed the boat and that. Well, I don't know if that was some of that coin, so at least that's...

[00:43:02] I just saved myself a lot of disappointment this year,

[00:43:04] but not saving back stone if any coins, complete the second one but don't finish the third one and then join the fourth one and don't do this and don't, that's not what I was designed for, everybody's breaking the game to try and get a better card and actually how many of those 90 rated bronzes have you seen it, have you faced? No. Well that's the thing, that was exactly what I wanted to talk about and

[00:44:22] I'll come into Archim's territory next but yes you were time to make, they're just dropping below the power curve so fast. But to be honest, we are learning the evolution because they introduced to this game first time. So what I mean by that, after a couple months,

[00:45:40] when I had six, seven available evolutions,

[00:45:43] there are some sites that are showing you the change

[00:45:46] that you can make. But whoever had possibility to get a foundation upgrade or foundation evolution with him. So yeah, but we are learning the evolutions. Next year, we're going to wait probably till the evolution, like two, three days expiring and then decide what we want to do. This year, evolution drop and I'm like, okay, who I'm choosing?

[00:47:02] I'm choosing this card.

[00:47:03] And I did the evolution.

[00:47:04] Next day came another one.

[00:47:06] I cannot change.

[00:47:07] I cannot do anything. I'm a fan of evolutions right now and I'm waiting for evolutions. I have three cards in my first 11. So yeah, I'm all for it. Cool. I am someone that doesn't finish evolutions because halfway through I'm like, ooh, there's a lot of games. I finished Alaba because that looked really strong that point of thing.

[00:48:22] And I was due a new defender that was for getting all Dini and I'm like, he's still

[00:48:27] good. don't really want to get into that broken type stealth game where everyone's running too high rated players because we're already on a pretty high power level as it is. I wouldn't mind spending one more month on a somewhat below 90 rated players scene, but I think we are now

[00:49:40] after just...

[00:49:41] Yeah, I would have and I think it's Jamie and, because as I said, I'm learning still the evolution stuff. And, and, but what I cannot suggest and because I learned from my mistakes is before you start any evolution with a bronze, silver card, even a rare gold card or common gold card, just take that card for one game in a squad battles, check the animations for shooting,

[00:51:05] dribbling, defending, because with the stats so you can physically knock me off my feet. Just we'll do a live show, make a big mistake. See if you do better. It's all right.

That's the only thing that you have to work on honestly because if you aim correctly, it's going in.

[01:00:23] buy a pack it's much easier so the casuals are the one that with more chances, honestly, to pack someone because, you know, than the people who are grinding the game like we are. We're not leaving if we don't pack a blue, eh?

I'm a new player, I'd say, but it's very annoying that if I know there's, for example, in hurricane just came out of package and I would search for striker and I rate on the highest and I click it. It's not there. I'm like, I just got it out of the packet. Then you type in gain and suddenly it's there.
