[00:00:55] Grive tried to get away from running up and down and usually ended up just taking shots at Pete

[00:00:59] drivers, which is the goalie because that was far more important for him to stretch his muscles.

[00:01:10] enough to not get injured. Well guess what I sure overdid it already and got more injuries

[00:01:16] I could count for matches before big finals or big games feel like warm up games too.

[00:02:54] week I'm going to be covering why the blog took a little bit of a hiatus since September. Got a

[00:02:59] pretty good reason for that. Yeah I think I got a good reason and I'm also going to talk

[00:03:04] about a new formation that I tried over this week which is a 4332 looking at some of the

[00:03:09] weaknesses and certainly some of its strengths and I really enjoyed it. A 4332, that's going to be

[00:03:16] interesting though. Second variation yeah with the DM it was good. One of the most frustrating

[00:03:21] part for me is being a touchy is we love 4333 we grow up with 423 but I still think there's

[00:03:28] too many flaws in FC and any FIFA before that though to make a 433 viable on a higher level

[00:03:35] so I'm very curious what your blog will say about that. We knew pretty late Kyle what the content

[00:03:43] would be today which I think it's a pretty cool thing. What do you think? Yeah I really like it

[00:03:49] I think this is a warm-up series isn't it? I think what we've now dropped from Goalazo into

[00:03:59] is Team of the Season Warm-Up and what that means is and I've written about this in my

[00:04:04] blog as well is that it's a time for us to maybe save a few packs, see what build a bit of hype for

[00:04:11] Team of the Season and importantly I think you know get a bit of a sense check in terms of where

[00:04:17] we're at with our last squads. Yeah definitely. Before we start warm-up series though I have

[00:04:27] something about the last two weeks. I got a lot of I wouldn't say hate but I got a lot of comments

[00:04:34] that people said well I said apparently that I used the players which are best to get an edge and

[00:04:42] I didn't like switching them all team around using players that are probably a little bit less

[00:04:49] good. Well I tried it differently this week I've packed a whole lot of players my prince

[00:04:56] of this week has been Lampert which I packed four whopping times so I was like it feels sort of a

[00:05:02] waste not trying these players either so what I did is I kept the players I am seriously thinking these

[00:05:09] are like the top players mostly Pele and Casillios and the rest I wasn't too keen on or too hard for

[00:05:17] but I changed like every five or maybe eight or ten matches something around that. I changed players

[00:05:23] around like three or four players in the team just replacing them playing the same formation

[00:05:28] switching those players around. I got a whole lot of players at TriKal I'll give you a short list if

[00:05:33] you're in for it. I used Vanistroy the 92 rated I used the 91 rated Swine Steiger I was actually

[00:05:42] hardly used but I used now the 89 rated Rykard card I used the team of the season Xavi

[00:05:49] card I used Vanistroy which I don't like that's a hint I used Prince the 94 rated Prince I used 92

[00:05:56] rated Lampert which of course was also pretty cool card I used the 89 and the 91 from Persi

[00:06:04] the 91 Sanchez and the 91 rated Close so about I don't know maybe 10 players a dozen players

[00:06:12] somewhere around there all for about five till like 10 matches switching around a little bit

[00:06:17] you know what my conclusion is for playing all these players over the week

[00:06:21] go on then don't drop your conclusion it doesn't matter a bit

[00:06:27] now it's sorry yeah it's insane so yes I definitely know it's a difference if

[00:06:35] if Pele plays or not right I think Ziko for example is a player which just works for me

[00:06:41] and I know it's Javi doesn't play but then I look at I use Zola Vanistroy Close you

[00:06:49] you and Prince you name it for me doesn't make a single bit of difference I looked at stats I put

[00:06:55] plays next to each other they got some words similar stats similar ratings some have a different

[00:07:01] play style the only thing I noticed is I like the smaller Zola for example better than the

[00:07:06] big Vanistroy's but it's not a major difference so I was like let's try the midfield Zavi,

[00:07:14] Swine Steiger, Gullet, Reikard even I used the 89 Reikard again they can all

[00:07:23] take do a tackle they can all pause around I found Zavi sort of stood out but I think it's

[00:07:28] majorly his body type as well being short and small turning around faster which is sort of

[00:07:34] why I liked it but it doesn't make a difference if I kept the key components in my team intact

[00:07:39] the top top players like Casillio's like my center defenders like Robert DeCaules which I really like

[00:07:45] I kept the same results and they kept the same amount of goals so I was like let me review these

[00:07:50] players but it would be mostly the same reviews I would look at the price and like okay I think

[00:07:56] Prince is a better value of Vanistroy because cheaper but that will be the review because

[00:08:02] I don't think there's much difference between them what have you felt this week because yeah

[00:08:07] yeah I agree with each other like the volume of players that are in the in the rounds at the

[00:08:13] moment that are of similar quality is really really madness at the moment like I've been using

[00:08:23] while I was evoing Peter Crouch's objective card from his 88 to an 89 and I stuck him in

[00:08:31] and played rivals I played cup games with him absolutely fantastic card but he's 89 rated and

[00:08:39] then I try Viale Hero and it feels exactly the same and there was four rating difference Viale has

[00:08:46] got slightly different play styles but I feel like there's not that much material difference in the

[00:08:52] way that I score goals in the way that I create goals the way that I defend with those players

[00:08:57] as well I think other players that I recently brought into my team were the fantasy FC

[00:09:04] Stanway card 90 rated I put her in over Team of the Year Oberdorf a few games excellent card like

[00:09:12] Oberdorf's a team of the year and Stanway's fantasy there's very little difference in terms

[00:09:18] of the way they play the way they operate both four star four star great great cards in

[00:09:24] their own right as well but nothing nothing very very different and I was looking to pattern them

[00:09:28] both on tradable so have that ability just to switch them in and out and I'm like you John I

[00:09:34] found my team doesn't really change from the players that I put in they're all about the same

[00:09:40] sorts of rating I think my latest switch included swapping Bastoni showdown SBC for Dessayi

[00:09:47] and again playing a few games with SSE it was exactly the same as as Bastoni so it's it's kind

[00:09:54] of I think a real good opportunity for us if you like to try different cards and feel empowered to

[00:10:00] have a bit of fun with your team and sort of not necessarily stick to the same you know 11 and

[00:10:06] the 7 7 9 8 on the bench that you kind of swap in and out you kind of got that option to

[00:10:13] try different cars have a bit of I think a bit of fun with the game it is certainly in showdown like

[00:10:21] having having cars that maybe get upgraded as well that actually may have stored them in

[00:10:26] the club and forgotten about them and then bring them back into your team and have

[00:10:30] and see what they like see what they stand up to and see how they compare but yeah for me I feel

[00:10:35] exactly the same way as you don't and yeah I think a bit of a bit of fun time for us all

[00:10:39] if you've got a if your club's not there and if not you're not put everything into SBC heaven then

[00:10:46] yeah we have some fun with some of the cars in your club. Yeah and it's sort of weird

[00:10:55] it doesn't matter but it also matters and I'll try to explain that so I was this week I

[00:11:01] was building some I was trying some new formations building some new teams

[00:11:05] and I honestly was like I don't even know what to choose yes I put Pele in instantly

[00:11:10] and I was like hmm who's going to be the other one let's try something and it all worked out

[00:11:16] but here's the thing I packed Lambert and I was oh that's actually can be really cool right

[00:11:21] then I packed him four times and kept being a little bit less cool but the fact you pack a 92

[00:11:27] top rated card with stats in all the right places and I didn't even go like yes but I went like

[00:11:36] okay where can I put this one in then I look at the SBCs and I'm like

[00:11:42] none of these SBC will probably be having an impact on my team as well

[00:11:48] now what so yesterday I was opening putting cards into an 81 plus or 80 plus per layer pick

[00:11:55] I don't even know which one was putting it in I was like oh yeah I got a special card I got a

[00:12:00] high rate card oh that's cool and an hour later it was like I don't even know why I did this because

[00:12:07] there's no wow feeling if I there's those elite cards right there are now those the good lids

[00:12:14] I think this week you feel each I don't know how much he is but that could be one of those

[00:12:19] cards from like that could be nice I don't know which which top cards we did we did get

[00:12:27] we got Ronaldinho SBC yeah but that's like that's an SBC but in packs you got three I think Felix

[00:12:33] was about the only one which like if I pack him that could be cool but yeah it's some of the cards

[00:12:41] those cards are expensive any any other card are very cheap so if you pack a violi which is of

[00:12:47] insanely cool card cool player got everything in the right stats I'm just checking how much he is now

[00:12:54] he is 44k I mean that says it all right yeah well I just I just looked at the goal as a team from

[00:13:04] there's literally just gone out of packs and yeah you mentioned them on maybe cars you do want to

[00:13:08] pack I see the 93 rated caca as well on there and the Giorzinho and the puss gas like yeah those

[00:13:14] are really good cars to go after but did I ever see them come out of an 80 plus pair pick or any of the

[00:13:21] fodder packs I got from rivals no did I hit Rizzicky their baby hero about five six times yes

[00:13:31] I got I eventually got his big bro card his 92 but again I was like I was like you John I got

[00:13:38] in I'm like yeah okay great yeah that's a card that yeah I can maybe bring off the squad and

[00:13:46] put him in for a few games but there's no wow excitement there there's no like absolutely yes

[00:13:51] I'm gunning for Rizzicky 92 but yeah nice card and I eventually did pack lampon and I felt exactly

[00:13:57] the same same way he didn't even walk out which was the best thing it was like at 86 3 and I got

[00:14:03] lampon as they're just hiding in the back yeah that's weird as well then you see a big icon

[00:14:08] and go wait did I get that one yeah it's I don't know if this was I don't it feels like summer

[00:14:18] where you don't mind you don't care what comes out of your packs anymore and this time team of

[00:14:23] the season is yet to start and I think I'm not saying it I think it's bad I do think it makes

[00:14:29] opening packs somewhat more fun and grinding out with the new rival rewards which still

[00:14:35] complement EA for that so so much better and I think there's so many people not dropping in

[00:14:42] lower divisions anymore but just grinding their way up this was the fix we asked for this the

[00:14:46] fix they gave and I think it will it's working and it will work if they keep this going

[00:14:52] because yeah for me all the I picked another one striker I forgot I've cut him from my

[00:14:58] rewards linaker for example same thing good player but I don't even know which one to pick

[00:15:04] but the problem is I don't know which one to pick so what happens next week during team the season

[00:15:09] or we'll talk about the content that Rukka released today I'm like on paper these cards should have

[00:15:15] to be very much better than the ones I've got to make it for me and Tyson to go grind for them

[00:15:22] and I just completely I didn't like either either way but that's just me

[00:15:26] but I stopped doing any evils because it makes zero sense for me to try a card

[00:15:30] play a lot of games with it get a plus one or plus two on them and a week later some card

[00:15:38] jumps out which is higher rated have similar stats and is 30k on the market

[00:15:47] yeah no I agree I think I think the power curve moved on so quickly

[00:15:53] early on in the in the cycle that gave us that

[00:15:59] level of player that really focused on or like really pushed our teams on really quickly I remember

[00:16:06] went to wild cause was a really strong strong period for our our clubs and how they had our

[00:16:13] teams how they how they evolved but I think we saw this a bit in the world cup promo last year

[00:16:19] that the power curve moved on really quickly and then we all get real packing cars that

[00:16:26] that actually didn't really change the the outlook of our teams it was very rare unless we

[00:16:31] packed an absolute really high tier super car that that made any material difference a lot of

[00:16:38] the cars were either the same sort of player or they were the you know kind of a really minor

[00:16:45] minor upgrade and I think yeah we're kind of falling into the same same sort of cycle cycle this

[00:16:51] year I think what what are you doing I agree with you in terms of the rivals packs and the rewards

[00:16:56] that they've given out has been really helpful in terms of grinding fodder but I think now

[00:17:01] we've run into an issue where we've got really good uh good amounts of fodder and nowhere to

[00:17:06] put them that we really want to um I've I've certainly struggled to do any of the

[00:17:11] player sbcs this week and all of the heroes really stood out to me I've only really done

[00:17:16] them when they've had jubes so I complete under kata with with jubes so yeah that's that's a

[00:17:21] do use the kata that's a yeah kata's not even made it made the made the squad I think what

[00:17:28] what i'm hoping for with that sort of card is maybe he falls into an evo or there's a cup

[00:17:34] plus a certain rate if we have seen that quite recently that you know when we when we want

[00:17:39] to play a cup we have to have certain level of players but like I didn't absolutely burn out to

[00:17:44] go and do that card that was a car that I completed through through duplicates so like as much of

[00:17:50] them just um considering that consider the power curve is that high we now have team the season

[00:17:57] warm shall we take a dive in and see how that compares if there are any enticing players there

[00:18:02] and what our thoughts on them yeah let's let's jump into content so I'll be joined to be angry

[00:18:08] me yeah as you go ahead in the girl girl in the car on there so today we got a 77

[00:18:17] plus major major league double upgrade so that is our e-fix so that's our major leagues

[00:18:24] upgrade that we can save all the way for until team the season is released and that requires

[00:18:30] I think five players no reyes so that I think that's a really helpful pack if you're going

[00:18:36] to be grinding team the seasons and wanting to pack them early doors and really build up a good

[00:18:42] good pack store over this week and certainly I will I'll be doing some with those into the

[00:18:49] week as and when I get doing my gold upgrades also we've got the eight plus player pick still there

[00:18:55] we still got the eight four plus seven we have a daily login upgrade which I think is really nice

[00:19:01] that ties into the objective so there are packs to get from that and what else we got we got

[00:19:10] showdown sbcs so we have also got the surgery Roberto and nor the mccheley that's the champions

[00:19:19] league second leg like Barcelona won that from the first game three two earlier this week

[00:19:25] so and the second leg is Barcelona so Roberto is the home team Barcelona home team for that

[00:19:32] for that time but psd still very much in it and then also we had a really interesting sbc of

[00:19:37] federic Jensen and Sebastian Halle and that and that related to the fc pro final I think

[00:19:44] as well and I have again another player that I completed just from from jim because

[00:19:48] was the Halle card as well so I think that's a really I find the pro pro e-bose not e-bose the

[00:19:55] sbc is a little bit weird but if the upgrade the upgrade I think I did the iax card a few weeks ago

[00:20:00] and he he somehow upgraded in my in my club as well as like yeah I wasn't for there in in

[00:20:07] a real life performance I think no it wasn't it was a pro pro sorry I

[00:20:14] it took me 38 years to make these jokes so I'm just how I'm still

[00:20:20] yeah well I think we had we did have a question in the discord didn't we John unless there's

[00:20:26] a lot around player of the months but I can briefly mention definitely go ahead play elements

[00:20:31] that we got so we got Rodrigo Moniz which is one squad and he is a 85 rated squad with a

[00:20:39] premier league player so I think it's not bad values in a seven rated probably a bit behind the

[00:20:44] power curve now probably not again one of those players are not rushing to complete but I will

[00:20:48] probably complete if I have a load of 85 dupes and one of the players that I mentioned in the

[00:20:52] players that I already had for showdown sbc is alessandro astoni who has a syria player of the

[00:20:58] month yeah and the question was but the person that sent it is now answering what

[00:21:06] these days on this which you can just see the first letter so age has become player of as player

[00:21:12] of the month become less and less irrelevant it's just gone downhill since emba pay finis use was

[00:21:17] disappointing and today's player of the month were two when did a player of the month last get

[00:21:23] into her team well with the current power team power curve I should say that's insanely good

[00:21:29] that it got into a team but my last player I can fairly answer was salla your scale my last player of

[00:21:38] the month that I played in rivals was the james madison sbc that we got right at the start of

[00:21:46] the year yeah that was the last one I first started when we first started the the cycle

[00:21:52] that was one of the first cars that sbc's that I made in twenty more recently I completed

[00:21:58] the rasmus holland player of the month striker card and that was really helpful for the cup that we

[00:22:05] had a few weeks ago so I do use them but they're nowhere near my team no I find it a weird player

[00:22:14] of the month anyways it is of course a promo that's not selected by EA or the players aren't

[00:22:22] selected by EA you put them out to I think to fans basically these are just fan cards get special

[00:22:33] cards from players and if it's a really good card that's very meta if that makes sense they have to

[00:22:41] price it fairly high either as well well with the current power curve there are very cheap cards

[00:22:47] that are pretty much better anyways right straight from the bat so player of the month doesn't make

[00:22:54] much sense but we can say the same about team of the week I packed an 89 layout last week I think

[00:23:01] this last week I think last week which was quite expensive 400k or something even

[00:23:07] I was like why is this card 400k like it's four star four star yeah layout was good

[00:23:12] the first two months of the game but there's no way you can get into anyone I don't know if I kept him

[00:23:19] if I kept him he's probably ending up in alavara or something because what do you do with it

[00:23:26] I think there's a if you get rewards of this high if you put the power cups this hard if you

[00:23:32] put the drop rates higher than ever at least it feels that way to me then some of the old

[00:23:38] promo says slash old spc types just don't make much sense anymore and play of the month is one of them

[00:23:47] yeah I agree I know I maybe showing my my age and how long I've been playing

[00:23:55] I'm 30 soon but I remember when we had player of the months in team of the weeks that was the

[00:24:05] only things in packs that the things that we grinded for the rivals and that's what we played

[00:24:12] champs for for the red picks in the team of the weeks and that was that those were our promo cards

[00:24:17] and those those made a difference yeah exactly those those made the difference to our teams and

[00:24:22] that's what we went went for so when we did have a player of the month that's the upgrade that it

[00:24:26] that it gave our teams now the 87 manese card yeah it's great if you're you know building a

[00:24:34] Premier League Brazilian or your want a full-on past and present team absolutely like great great

[00:24:41] card for those people but for you know I'm not I'm not a full-on fan myself so like that card

[00:24:48] doesn't really have any material grab for me to go out on a rush to do it it's not going to

[00:24:54] be better than the alley that I packed earlier in the week who's 93 right and you can buy

[00:25:00] Viola for you know less than 50k so are you going to spend that amount of coins and enjoy that rather

[00:25:06] than put untradable fodder into into an SBC like that that there may or may not be in an upgrade

[00:25:13] and if you know may or may not fit an EVO that you know comes later down the line and yeah if

[00:25:18] you're that way inclined then yeah absolutely it's cheap and cheerful in that respect but

[00:25:24] yeah not not for me but yeah back back yeah back when we were grinding for team of the weeks and

[00:25:32] and player was yeah they're absolutely you know what what we wanted and yeah if I think along with

[00:25:37] team of the week it could do with a bit of enhancement but I'm not sure how much EA are

[00:25:42] gonna be able to do that they're almost got a you know hand behind their back in terms of the

[00:25:47] players and how they how they select them and and ultimately you know how they feel in in game and

[00:25:55] what their rating is definitely talk about team week we've had the last team week official yeah

[00:26:03] last last team of the week it's always always tends to happen more it does happen before

[00:26:08] four teams a season so yeah we've got best of team of the week impacts this week again fantastic

[00:26:16] so if you want a special team of the week card you can absolutely go and try and try and grab one of

[00:26:22] those I think they're the and when team weeks go out of packs team the weeks probably don't spike

[00:26:28] in terms of rarity until maybe later into the summer but they are useful for SPC's we do have the 83

[00:26:36] plus team of the week pick for an 82 and an 83 squad it is very viable if you do need those

[00:26:42] team of the week so I know a couple of SPC's may may require them I'm not sure about the player of

[00:26:49] the month SPC's or any of the SPC's that were lying to get over the warm up series will require

[00:26:55] team the weeks but we shall see on that but yeah I think more generally this is the the last

[00:27:00] one so no more team of the weeks impacts and we will have to grind the player pick or

[00:27:07] yeah start start packing the some of the best stuff such a shame I was so I'm so looking forward to

[00:27:12] Wednesday's Wednesday night to remember we actually had a Wednesday night show just because

[00:27:18] team of the week came out well that wouldn't make much sense these days in years but yeah

[00:27:23] you'd like I said these are cards used for SPC's period I think maybe if you can use

[00:27:28] player of the month cards as if they count the steam of the week cards maybe that would

[00:27:32] make more sense and people would do them just to have higher rated following in case if they needed

[00:27:40] I was looking at this week we had the 84 times 7 SPC's which required one team of the week card

[00:27:48] I think but my lowest rate team of the week card was 88 rated I was like does this make

[00:27:55] sense to tossing it in I did one do you know what my highest player was in that pack

[00:28:01] 86 no lampard

[00:28:05] so it did make sense but was like yeah now got a 92 rated too so it doesn't really matter

[00:28:11] that that card kept chasing me this week which is the same but that doesn't matter now it's

[00:28:19] best off team of the week I think they're missing some players here you know

[00:28:23] yeah I'm not I'm not I mean see what what the what the squad is and I'll

[00:28:30] I'm here to bring it up on my yeah so we got I got it from me we got 92 Bonmati 92 Mbappe

[00:28:37] 91 Benzema oh she man of course the but mostly what I'm missing here there's no Ferdjofen

[00:28:44] Dijk or Salah which I find a little weird nevertheless lowest rated is 88 rated I think

[00:28:54] so you can't really go wrong packing any of these anyways

[00:28:59] Finishes there but Mati's a really cool card and Bob pay of course please let me pack him but

[00:29:05] I don't really mind it but it almost feels

[00:29:13] like there might be two weeks of this promo if I look at this but that isn't the case right

[00:29:18] please I don't think so it doesn't say week one anywhere so yeah I'm hoping like you John

[00:29:24] it's not it's not two weeks yeah I think I think best best off even my EA's admission like

[00:29:31] yeah they're nice cards but we've had we've had when we talked about players who already had a player

[00:29:38] in the month and Mbappe so if you really wanted them back there you have the fodder you probably

[00:29:42] already have him's he was in like 92 rated so that's exactly the same as team week if anything

[00:29:48] it makes these cards on the market go down in value so maybe being re-supplied again so

[00:29:53] like that makes it makes them cheaper and I also I noticed the Dibala 89 card I packed him from

[00:29:58] playa pick this week so that was before the best impact so yeah I think I think they're nice cards

[00:30:06] and they're going to change your team we talked about probably not are they going to be used for

[00:30:11] fodder used for a rest PCs probably yes maybe about Pedro yeah I think it may be about maybe

[00:30:18] Bob Mati yeah that for me is probably maybe Vinny Jr and that's probably if I pack any of the

[00:30:26] they're probably going into a fodder SPC so if I get the baller again it'll be a duplicate

[00:32:28] are really absolutely nuts car with these anticipate and is relentless plus um player all across the

[00:32:35] view or both fall back positions because he's five star five star as well so yeah and looks are really

[00:32:42] really good good card you've had this links John I know you've got an affinity for you've entered

[00:32:47] players myself I'm a lots of fans so yeah there's lots of black and white stripes that kind of

[00:32:53] yeah entices into this SPC for me I've already got the foot birthday

[00:32:59] uh Reese James not in one rated so it's like for me is that really much of an upgrade on on

[00:33:05] Reese James if I have the have the fodder then yes but I probably end up doing a great SPC

[00:33:11] is the rest of this week your thoughts John so here's the thing normally there's a Zambrotta

[00:33:16] it's an instant deal for me right there's a couple of players I always try to get in my team

[00:33:21] uh Zambrotta is one of them uh or better calls one of them which way we got that SPC

[00:33:27] and a new player again a little bit disappointed about that but then again he's there but we've got

[00:33:32] uh or better calls he's in my team and I'm using Kaffu currently the 91 rated Kaffu which I it's

[00:33:38] pretty cool card so if you would ask me neutrally should you do a new Zambrotta card one week

[00:33:45] before the season hits my answer regularly would be nah just wait but sure I'm your

[00:33:52] friend this friend so sure it has a little bit of affinity with it but that is not even the case

[00:33:58] I'm going to make this bold statement in FIFA and probably an FC 24 as well although I haven't

[00:34:03] tried him yet there are no better defensive full backs than Zambrotta he's the well this sounds

[00:34:13] but he's the only I think full back that can actually defend really well too

[00:34:21] Kaffu has decent defending this one has got great defending he's got the great play

[00:34:27] play styles like you said um I don't know actually if it said that during the break or just did

[00:34:33] but he's got the racoon yeah so that's pretty that's pretty cool um he's not that expensive

[00:34:39] either the SPC is doable I think it's 600,000 600,700,000 in total but then again with these

[00:34:48] fours we now have it doesn't it won't ever cost anything near that 92 pace which is good but five

[00:34:55] star five star and you can play him right back or start him left back doesn't matter you can do

[00:35:00] both and it's like that is pretty impressive if you ask me um yeah I think I think you're the

[00:35:09] helpful thing that maybe we've crossed over is he's also an icon so he gets you know chemistry and links

[00:35:16] to other players and boosts other players he team up as well so yeah I think absolutely really

[00:35:22] fantastic card I think you can probably talk immediately into maybe having a look at this

[00:35:26] one John I'm just learning that his highest rate of squads are both highest rate of 89 squads

[00:35:31] no team of the requirements and 10 squads with two of them being a silver and a bond squad so

[00:35:36] very doable card with with fodder that we have I think the only challenge is going to be how much

[00:35:41] fodder do we do we want to put into this versus doing upgrade packs for potential tops

[00:35:47] that's the thing and what do you get with thoughts that's always like the biggest

[00:35:51] question is it's still worth it what is very good with some broader he's been still in for 60 days

[00:35:57] so you can also wait until the season hits and see if that actually does yeah you can you can you can

[00:36:05] sort of wait wait out and certainly within tops we're going to get high rated cards that we get

[00:36:11] duplicates for so those 89 squads are going to be far easier to complete because they're

[00:36:16] going to be more high rate of cards on the market available to buy packs you name it they're going

[00:36:22] to be there when team of the season hits so high rate of squads like that just become really really

[00:36:26] easy to complete so this could be a card that you just grind towards very slowly with duplicates

[00:36:34] and fodder over the next two months that will be well into summer by then and we'll be into

[00:36:40] into june and silly season yeah well that's usually when i when i take my big when i take a big break

[00:36:48] too but i yeah i think this could be a real cool card and just the only thing that gives me

[00:36:57] holding back from saying you got to do this course because it's just one week left for team of the

[00:37:01] season but anyways can you find do you think how many right full back with five star five

[00:37:08] started can also play left back watch and have good defending stats and play styles were actually

[00:37:13] come out during it that would fit your team because you are chemistry dependent with june team the

[00:37:18] season i'm unsure about that honestly yeah i i don't think we'll quite get that level of card

[00:37:25] just yet i think we're going to get some cards that maybe are higher rated and maybe have three

[00:37:31] three play styles that's probably the only difference not confirmed but that's a hunch that

[00:37:37] from team the team of the year we had two play style pluses that kind of them followed the promos i

[00:37:43] suspect the team of the season will be three percent high style pluses and from there so that might

[00:37:47] be the only only thing that the differentiates it but we're not going to get five star five

[00:37:52] star fullbacks anytime soon not until i just said silly season hits and we're getting

[00:37:57] shapeshifters and all the rest of it i'm definitely going to mark this clip though for

[00:38:02] once it hits next week or this Sunday we get as we see five star five star fullback yeah

[00:38:06] game for it absolutely clip it up usually when i say something like that we get it next week so

[00:38:14] kai was wondering two things we've been a while since we have it on the show so my first question

[00:38:19] is which formation are you playing now is it the four two three second variation like you're

[00:38:24] writing the blog about uh so i'm kind of flicking between maybe three formations at the moment so

[00:38:30] the uh new one that i was trying was the four three three second variation i do like the four three two

[00:38:37] one but that is very common and people know how to play against that so not as effective as

[00:38:42] what it used to be and the other formation i do i do tend to play is a four two three one that's

[00:38:47] a very stable nice triangles know where the players are you build you build it really

[00:38:53] nicely uh that's what those are the kind of formations that run in that moment yeah

[00:38:57] what is your what would you say is your favorite player favorite player so i think recently i packed

[00:39:05] winter wild cards roll with his finesse finesse plus i really i ran him a week in league last

[00:39:12] week and i really liked him his finesses outside the box are ridiculous um another player that i

[00:39:20] really like is the base maldini that i managed to burn for uh great great defender uh can't seem

[00:39:28] to leave my team anytime soon but yeah those those two cards i really i really enjoy the base maldini

[00:39:33] is the 88 right 92 92 i think he had a did he have a baby sbc yeah i have the sbc one yeah

[00:39:43] which i also packed the regular one like two weeks later that was wonderful as well

[00:39:50] yeah i left the maldini as well in my team still i think that's one of those cards which is not

[00:39:53] leaving my team i think yeah even though he has no play styles even though he has like if you look

[00:39:58] at stats it's not there but still does the job yeah for me it's like the like the version

[00:40:04] van dyke like there's something about those cards where they're playable the stats they're

[00:40:09] solid they're reliable maldini as well he's left-footed so he's absolutely perfect for the

[00:40:15] left centre back or left centre back in a back three as well with that left foot playing out from

[00:40:22] the backs you know it's really really handy rather just sticking right footer there you've got that

[00:40:25] option to go the opposite side and play left foot too yeah definitely i think so like maldini is

[00:40:31] like the sombrota as well like where we're not always work or sombrota always works there's

[00:40:36] something about the size of the player and just the animations or something it's just

[00:40:43] perfect cards to keep in your team that's awesome though i i've played a lot 4 3 2 1 this week

[00:40:49] honestly i had a couple of formations in my setup turn to try 5 4 1 4 5 1 5 3 2 3 5 2

[00:40:58] changes like that but honestly if i just need wins the 4 3 2 1 is and i've been saying this

[00:41:04] from week one fc 24 so go check it out if you tout me on that but i think 4 3 2 1 will always be

[00:41:12] good formation the more manually the defense needs to be and this year it's been more manual than ever

[00:41:18] some people say it's not but you seriously won't block a shot if you don't select that player

[00:41:23] and the 4 3 2 1s is a very effective on turnarounds but also if you pass around the box

[00:41:29] there will always be a wrong switch or late switch from one of the opponent defenders

[00:41:34] which makes you just able to just take a tap through and go for it combine that with a good

[00:41:40] striker and 4 3 2 1 is just a cool scoring machine i think and not much you can do about that and

[00:41:46] you see them pro level as well players often play 4 3 2 1 versus each other or something that has

[00:41:53] like bit more control and they try to build up very slowly and because pro level you don't see the

[00:41:59] high press you won't really see that explode if that makes sense but in non-pro level i don't think

[00:42:06] you usually have the time to just pass around because people are a little bit more

[00:42:12] going ho about going chasing with a 4 3 2 1 yeah definitely no i agree it's been a very

[00:42:18] popular formation for numeral years now and yeah certainly this FIFA EAFC that it's

[00:42:26] it's kind of really really showing its prevalence i used to run 4 3 2 1 in the days of when 4 4 2

[00:42:32] and 4 2 3 1 were absolutely running riot and two striker formations you know played really

[00:42:38] strongly and that was one of the first formations that i actually thought counted it

[00:42:42] really really nicely but yeah definitely definitely very very popular now you do see it all levels

[00:42:47] of the game awesome well when can we expect the block the yeah blocks yeah so i'm i'm

[00:42:57] busily finishing it i've started i started today i'm hoping to have it done by the by the weekend
