[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_02]: through the league upgrade grind, how we're going to be tackling it over these next couple of weeks.

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_02]: let people spend fee for points or the AFC points on getting hold of players as opposed to just

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_02]: packs. So lots and lots to get into. Nathan, let's start with team of the year so far. Of course,

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_00]: it's been over the past five days. My experience has been really quiet actually, for those of you

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_00]: in the tier that gets the trading show I was saying on I think it was Tuesday, Wednesday last week

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_00]: that I am hoarding until my packs. I'm not open and I think so. I did go and do some of the

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_00]: midfielder upgrade packs and got nothing out of them but I've been just keeping a wee I-on,

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_00]: what's been happening, what the packs are like, but yeah, it's been a really calm quiet one.

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Although I did do many weekendly grun on Friday where I basically went to try to go to sex but

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I've miscalculated and look at the wee box I've never done we can leave this year and got to

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_00]: seven and two and then just quiet out the risks around out of time. So just so we speed one for

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_00]: the player picks and a few extra packs. But yeah, it's been quite tame this week. I'm expected

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_00]: to maybe step up potentially as a Friday or next Tuesday depending on what I do.

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Shack, I know the answer this question but how have you been enjoying team of the year so far?

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh look it's up and down. It was I started off really I think I was away when theme of the

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_01]: year hit I was on holidays I was enjoying the sunshine and having a great time and was really

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I was doing some upgrade packs and whatever it's fine and came back and played weekly and usual

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_01]: we can leave 11 wins whatever happens as you say it then there's always taxes death and

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_01]: 11 wins we can leave that as certainty it's especially for you and me.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And the good news was I was just opening some random bags and popped a very

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_01]: team of the icon which really kind of made my team of the year start in a really good way so

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: pretty happy with that. Pretty happy with the start of it but it's just it is what it is.

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Not just reberied popping up at a pack. The reberied trade-all.

[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing. That is true. I forgot to add that bit. Yes it was a trade-all and it was

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_01]: it was off a small electron players pack so we get three gold players and three silver players

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_01]: and yeah oh just got randomly lucky. Did you cash in or did you cash in or did you

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: held? I did. I used him for the weekend league. He was yeah I'll review him later he was decent

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_01]: but I think just agreed well not really the great I think I really wanted to do best and I

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_01]: couldn't really fit reberied and best alongside each other and whatever I did I just couldn't fit

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: all you can only have 11 players on the pitch and I couldn't really consider having the 12

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_01]: person answer was best for me to just get rid of him. Yeah look I do not play me Gigi's.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Everybody deserves that luck it's great that it's gone your way fingers crossed it can

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_02]: go both our ways although I did get a team of the year icon Zola that's on my second account

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_02]: that I don't really play with at the moment so it's kind of one of those. But also not so great

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_02]: my main account is had nothing I have been kind of a halfway house between the two of you.

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm still saving my packs I've got kind of 50 really big ones but I've been kind of opening

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_02]: all everything else along the way even down to stuff like 80 by 10s I'm opening

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm really going through the league SBC grind at the moment I'm loving that exchange just be

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_02]: say but that will come on to our you know how we're approaching in terms of the league SBC upgrade

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_02]: grind and of course the league upgrade packs have just been released as well. They'll

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_02]: talk about of course everyone's trying to obtain those team of the year midfielders that

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_02]: still impacts as we recall this on Tuesday morning by the time most of you hear this it will

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_02]: be the defenders and goalkeepers impacts but Shacken they look we have had some SBCs of course

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_02]: they started with a bang with Bruno Fernanders and George Best on Friday since then we've had

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_02]: some other fantastic players released let's start with Alex Morgan who's the more recent of the

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_02]: weeks of the game is this a car that's likely to do the same and is it worth completing?

[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh I love the Alex Morgan in the start of the game she was my favorite favorite strike at

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_01]: the start of the game and I think Finesses were amazing then with Alex Morgan I think she

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_01]: would still be amazing but I've noticed that Finesses as we've discussed before are not as

[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_01]: all about what I was able to start with the game as maybe what Treveller is right now but I think

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I saw his way back posting some videos of Dickens and Finesses from outside the box with her

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_01]: she was so clean it was so clean so I think nostalgia where two months is nostalgia look at

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_01]: as a 28 24 now the nostalgia will get the better of me and I might just get Alex Morgan done

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_01]: just to the sake if you know look she was she gave me so much joy the start of the game

[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_01]: and she was the first female player that I really enjoyed playing this game with so I'm just

[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_01]: to the SPC on that be on that regard but I think she would be fun she would be fun yeah I mean

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_02]: 500 000 coins to complete this and of course there are so many ways to get a fodder at the moment

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_02]: it's probably not going to cost you it won't hardly anything if anything at all to do it

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_02]: looking at the shooting stats absolutely incredible that 97 finishing 94 composure the

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_02]: positioning is 93 as well the only thing that's really letting it out are two things one the

[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_02]: pace is a little bit sluggish just in comparison to these monster cars we're getting now 87 acceleration

[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_02]: and 86 sprint speed and also the height at just 5 foot 6 despite a 90 heading accuracy in a 96

[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_02]: she's probably not going to a fair so well in the air no she's not um she what one thing that

[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_00]: makes up for that though I mean her play styles are ridiculous she's got one play sail plus which is

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_00]: obviously the finesse shot but then she's got power shot take attack her rapid flare first touch

[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_00]: and Trevella so actually between the finesse and Trevella which for depends where you play

[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_00]: are like we're gonna go on to the formation I'm using information review but if you're playing

[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_00]: at the 4 3 2 1 the 5 2 2 1 with those sort of two sort of narrow cam sent a forward type players

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_00]: she could actually be perfect be perfect in that role either side I think she's got five star

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_00]: weak foot as well yes so she could actually her dribble in is as ridiculous if you put an engine on

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_00]: her agility goes up obviously a dribbling's at 99 with that balance goes up as well but with

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_00]: those play styles I think she could be she could be amazing I mean if she was 2 300 okay I would be

[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_00]: saying everybody needs to do this during team of the air to have her at least as an impact

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_00]: sub slightly different 500k plus is slightly on the expensive side fee event obviously but I

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_00]: think if she's in this team she's not gonna let you down if you play her as a as a sort of

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_00]: center forward cam I think is an out and out lone striker say don't think she'll do it I think

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_00]: she'll get bullied especially her aggression I think it's at 53 I think it's at 53 I think

[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean that aggression I mean you know someone like Van Daker or Riven Diaz comes out and

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_00]: she'll be around buying the goals and cow or a little bit I think she'll be kind of

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_00]: doing that so I think if you play on the right position she could be incredible but I think it's

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_00]: one of these that may sort of depend on your style of playing your formation use yes to force

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_02]: it for this card I mean if this was released in 1952 52 53 I think would be a lot more positive on

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_02]: this card however when you've got your saviour set there you've got Zco sat there

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_02]: we've got George Best sat there available there are just so many great options four or four

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_02]: would right now that it just almost feels you know it almost feels not above the power curve already

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_02]: it's just kind of level with it so whether you want to invest in that level but it is a great

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_02]: option that said 500,000 coins to do and you'll be able to pretty much do it for free

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_02]: it's why you let you down there so again as Nasella I think it just kind of depends it fits in

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_02]: with your playstyle and what not links not gonna be a problem of course as well with lots of icons

[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_02]: coming including sawa we believe it's gonna be released probably by the time you listen to

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_02]: this podcast as well so you'll be able to get it down plus the number one reason to get this

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_02]: done as I've mentioned this on the show before she's got a custom chant if you have Alex more

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_02]: than you see you can hear what sounds like an American female crowd going Alex more again

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_02]: so there yeah that's cool that's OPP custom chant let's let's move on to a player that holds

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_02]: one place in my heart when I think of team of the year because this was the first team

[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_02]: of the year I ever packed our funs and babies has been given a flashback not to the same rating

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_02]: as that team of the year but not too far away in fact the stats might even be better and 89

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_02]: rate a guard on this one shack 99 pace the big thing of course that lovely whipped past plus playstyle

[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_02]: but that's the good the bad thing 830,000 coins for left back

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I think the other thing that really bugs me about this like look I have one of the Davies is

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it was a thunderstorm card that I packed luckily at some point in time that I use from time

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_01]: to time as a star when he's fabulous he's fantastic I just put him in the left-hand

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_01]: slot move batcher right up front so I love it love using him as a sub but 836,000 coins with the

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_01]: friend that's got 80 overall in defending look he'll still be funny it's got five star skills I

[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_01]: think it's just a price and also the link see if he can fit in your team if you have a Harry

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_01]: game I guess it makes sense but if you don't have Harry Kane or you don't have a you don't have any

[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_01]: particular links to use him with I think it's a bit too expensive in my opinion unless yeah and

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_01]: you there's no shortage of left backs as well as we discussed even last week's episode this so many

[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_02]: effects yeah I mean now if I'm gonna be holding on to batcher she's not going anywhere I think that

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_02]: that card is a more rounded one than this I mean first I'll skill moves four star week for

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_02]: his nice high-medium work rates but you can see this card doing well it's kind of a wing position

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_02]: the shooting would need working on though 76 finishing off the bat there and the composer only 84

[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_02]: as well might let you down a little bit but I mean again it's just another fantastic card but

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_02]: kind of shacks so I think it's just kind of gets crowded out yeah absolutely I think I think when

[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_00]: you combine everything if you just split it you're playing a four back I don't think like he'll be

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_00]: decent but I don't think he'll be like a a beal and an endolate save batch I'm I'm really

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_00]: running at bum bum pastor genuinely version who is ridiculously good and you know that's

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_00]: good defending an attack and as well I think the work rates combined with the defending as a four

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_00]: back he'll probably get caught out quite a bit but I'll do think if you are adventurous you

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_00]: are full backs he could be a really good for an option but like you say I think 800k for this

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_00]: card I think you know in the past we've criticized the EA I think this year they've actually been

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_00]: pretty decent with the price and on the whole but I think this is slightly too steep again I think

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_00]: it's another maybe 200k a little bit too much for me anyway certainly I know nobody wants to

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_00]: name expel or you should have spent speed to take full back to face every week but I think

[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_00]: it's just a little bit on the steep save for me yeah I think if you were looking at that

[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_02]: bomb pastor Champions League hero card is only about 200k coins at the moment so according to

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_02]: the price although again it's you know I'm always reticent talk about the cost of these SBCs at

[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_02]: the moment because of a kick it's in so much fodder around it's probably not going to cost you anything

[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_02]: about craft most of these cards for free I mean if you look at Davies SBC in particular

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_02]: you know it's only really that with the 180 rate it's quad that's going to cause you massive

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_02]: problems the rest it's all kind of 87s 86 and 185 to start with yeah with an inform so again you

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_02]: should be able to get this done for intensively quickly but yeah I'm not spending that much on a

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_02]: fullback I think especially when you got on the other flank cathoo as well who's a bit cheaper I

[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_02]: would rather have cathoo and iphone so Davies but again if you're already here bundles league

[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_02]: aside if this is a particular favourite player of yours it's versatile it's very very fast

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_02]: and like again much like Morgan it sounds like we've been negative on these cards but not it's just

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_02]: kind of wood we're talking to we you know we like to think an audience that already has a lot of options

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_00]: today yeah absolutely and I think at this time of the year it's quite important to remember

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_00]: that like you say fodder's really easy to come by but the SBC's that have been out even over

[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_00]: the last month you know you're still talking to the whole it's the use saviors that type of

[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_00]: player that you've mentioned already there's a dance then you've got your cafes you've got the

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_00]: sour link to come you've got you know from it for my own personal point of view the George Best

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_00]: in Bruno Fernandez from because the United players I want to craft your team of the year

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure there's going to be more team of the flashbacks coming and more sort of even

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_00]: hearty bags if you want to come so there's so much to do and it's like you say it's not saying

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_00]: that the bad cards is you've got to kind of you know pick your battles if you like you can say right

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_00]: this is you know this is tier one two three that I want to get through from team the year you know

[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Alex Morgan might be number five on my list if I get enough fodder for the first four

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_00]: you know she might be the one that I'll be late right that's the next one to grind and fodder is

[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_00]: so easy to come by but I think you've got to prioritize either players that are special to you

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_00]: player so you think you're gonna last year you know quite a way because last year I remember a team of

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_00]: the year there's quite a few species that I certainly did and a week later they were they were pretty

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_00]: much gone because we had the camera all the one after was at the future it was the one after

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_00]: future styrofoam I think it was like a pink design like I remember the exact promo but they were

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_00]: out another pretty juicy promo that you're like oh these cards are already obsolete so it's been

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_00]: mindful of that yeah and they're out for a long time as I mean I'll explore because it's got 29 days

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_02]: left to do I'm friends with Davies has got 28 days left to do so like nice it I think it's

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_02]: a case of waiting to see the cost of everything that comes out how you luck is when she

[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_02]: bridge your packs and then you can make that decision unless you're absolutely key on one

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_02]: these players straight away if you don't want to go through the SPC route there is an honourable

[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_02]: mentions player you can obtain through the draft objective shack get Dante who's been boosted from I

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_02]: think his gold card has got 32 pace this card has now got 80 pace of course Brazilian playing for

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_02]: niece in league and on the borderline I think I sound harsh saying in 189 defenders on the borderline

[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_02]: to be unusable but in top divisions borderline usable but again I think this is one that will be

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_02]: heading swiftly into a player SPC or an exchange of SPC shack all right he looks he looks really good

[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_01]: in a lot of ways he's got the block playstyle he's got anti-cipate silver he's got bruise

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_01]: of silver he's got aerial it's got a long ball as well and look it comes down to these kind of

[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_01]: this is a question that I asked myself the centre backs it's it's really disappointing that I even say

[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_01]: this in January would you rather have this card to save your baking on the weekend league or would

[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_01]: you rather have virtual vanda like I think 99% of people community seem to prefer virtual vanda

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_01]: over any other cards so that's the that's the thing will this card replace virtual vanda can

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_01]: your squad I don't really know he looks like he should but now I think I'm still stick to VVD so

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_01]: there you go that's he's gonna be a really good card to try out I guess but yeah I don't see him being

[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_01]: a mainstay but it's a lovely free card one yeah of course remember we've we've got an SP

[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_02]: a draft draft token SPC it's got on with an ikfossi play one game they give you a draft token

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_02]: you can play remember offline draft all the way down at amateur it's still count so look if you

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_02]: what you know if you've got a spare hour he's just want to put it on the bit of control room rub

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_02]: a score of couple of goals put on rubber vanda go watch a program you'll be able to get this card done

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_02]: and there's some other packs along the way if you'd do so so easy to do but yeah I mean if you

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_02]: compare the actual card I'd rather have the centre struck and TT use 20k and I've used and is brilliant

[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think he's actually got more total stats and more turtlene game stats so that's where I would go

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_02]: on that one let's talk a little bit about the actual players then that have been released for team

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_02]: with here I mean jets I don't want to spend too long on them because I think pretty much all of them

[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_02]: are fantastic the only one of them though that is really obtainable for the average mortal on this

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_02]: game seems to be overdorfe who's coming in at around about 750k I mean neath can you understand why

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_02]: this card is maybe well it is so much cheaper than the rest I think it's it's a little it's

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_00]: here and it's the sort of bundles female division where there's not millions of options

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_00]: stat wise it does nothing wrong with it at all I think it looks a very good CDM if it's like we're

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_00]: saying last week if you wanted to hold in CDM Roderioro bedoff you know you can't actually go wrong

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_00]: with really get aggression amazing acceleration strength is not huge but again what you need that

[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_00]: when you're a stay-back CDM I think it's a nice card when you say it's obtainable it's obtainable

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_00]: for the likes of you guys I mean I want 140k so it's no way near for me although we did identify

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_00]: this as being one of the more packed team of the years which you know I wouldn't be surprised if

[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_00]: there isn't to even Roger who is up at like 2 million just now that will come down when when

[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_00]: packs are ripped but I think I think he'll be more obtainable as well and he's he's comparative stat wise

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_00]: to Viera who's slightly different body type however you know I think Viera is about double the price

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_00]: so would you take a Roger or Viera I know coin wise what I would take you're right they're very

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_00]: nice cards but they're all going to be very nice at this time of the team of the years

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_00]: is for tremendous cards and the price is a crazy just now but we have to repair and minds

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_00]: that are so many people hoard and packs so there's this there's been a steady drab of people

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_01]: it's great but when you're on the other side and just watching everyone around you pack something

[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_01]: constantly and you just wonder whether he'll your luck is and if you do hammer and support

[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_01]: in some money as well and you still wondering what the hell's happening I think that's just not

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_01]: a good place to be so I think EA is slowly transitioning a whole lot of us do the to the store

[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_01]: for the pack for the actual players anyway I think it's a really good segue that we start off with

[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_01]: getting some loans and then eventually you'll just go down to buying online at the start of the year

[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_01]: in the store for maybe $1000 and there be quite a lot of people that would do that that would spend

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_01]: as much money trying to back the online whether it's profitable for EA or not that that they will

[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_01]: find somewhere for it to be profitable but I think I'm I'll throw it tired of the randomness

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_00]: next year free for like an absolute pinnacle player for stupid amounts of money but i also think

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_00]: they'll keep the pack going at say a more obtainable price so it's like here's what you can get

[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_00]: want an upfront but actually there's still a chance of packing these players and here um i

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_00]: would say they would turn down the pack you know the pack weight but i don't really think that's very

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_00]: much possible the way it's been for for most of it this this year but i think they'll they'll

[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_00]: test the water i do think that there'll be like a showstopper in store in the next year or so where

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_00]: it'll be like this is what you can get um i think it's a good and a bad thing i think you know

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_00]: i think it's good that you you know you'll know what you're getting and it's there i think it's bad

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_00]: because uh you know it gives you more of a more of an inclination to maybe spend money you don't

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_00]: have you know to to do it certain other ways that you know especially when the schemes open for

[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_00]: younger people younger audiences that you know they may be pressure like the parents to to get this

[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_00]: so they might be having that foam most of the other like we must have that so i think if it's done

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_00]: it's good um i don't know whether you'll see it say the start the game say maybe even 2,000

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_00]: pounds and a month and a thousand pounds and then come and game you can get this r9 for 15 pounds

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_00]: you know if they do it that way i i don't know i think a bit in between would be good because

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_00]: i think certain people just would be like absolutely not but i could certainly see the appeal

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_00]: either early game or around now team of the years probably if you pack something now

[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_00]: it's a game changer so it's sort of like the start the cycle and sort of end of September

[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_00]: early October if you buy a game change in player there that'll set you up pretty much through till now so

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_00]: i think i'll go to that i just don't really know like how they would exactly do it without

[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_00]: getting certain complaints from you know parents and people or if you actually really care about

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_02]: if that's what people think anyway yeah i mean shakt that one of the main complaints against this has

[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_02]: been you know people that don't have the resources to put cash into the game worrying that

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_02]: they'll be forced out by you know simply by people that have that greater disposable income

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_02]: level just go out and buy that and as nays said there will be others that feel kind of

[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_02]: under pressure to keep up with that i just on that kind of topic do you think i mean is it going

[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_02]: to be a case that people will fill that pressure and have to buckle or will it be a case of

[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_01]: even fight that way at the divisions look i think five years ago when we could actually use

[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Chris Smolling the goal Smolling the goal by in week and week or what are rivals you could

[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_01]: probably argue the case then that this is just just spending money for no reason but that's time

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_01]: is going on it's clear all of us are clearly here advocating the fact that it's pay to win like

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_01]: it's really clearly pay to win the best team on the pitch is most likely going to win i mean

[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_01]: i'm giving they might be an exception where someone's really really bad at the game and they

[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_01]: got a really strong team but if you're equal players and the opponent's got better players

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_01]: in this spot he or she is bound to win the game and that's it's the game is pay to win so i don't

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_01]: think we can hide from the fact any longer there's no point of hiding behind under the sand

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_01]: and expecting things to change that's the reality and people will still exist i mean look at

[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_01]: right now we come across people that have a stacked team we still give it a go sometimes we win

[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_01]: some done we don't we just shrug our shoulders move on and that's pretty much what's going

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_01]: to happen in the future as well if someone does want to engage with the content in the way

[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_01]: by giving ear money it's part of power to them that's completely fine yeah as long as they're

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_02]: remains a pathway for you to obtain these players and they're not you know the only way you can get

[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_02]: these players is by spending lots of money on them i think you know it's all for the good but yeah

[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_02]: that i think they will have to put them at a very very high price point because again we've

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_02]: talked about this before of EA give people too much too quickly like say if they you know put

[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_02]: a triple pack and back i name our messy in a store for 80 pounds i think a lot of people would just

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_02]: do that the same way they invest at the very start of the game in fee for what i mean i myself

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_02]: upon about that quick at the start of the game the option was there a roast been 80

[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_02]: didn't get through the very best players they're going to last you for two three months

[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_02]: part of me as strong it would be tempted so i think EA will have to put them a really high price

[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_02]: point because otherwise it will flame people out early one of the things that EA has done

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_01]: to smartly this year is just look at look at the trajectory this year look at the numbers

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_01]: free packs of getting this year look at the number of SPCs we're getting this year so

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_01]: to your point EA is providing items that you can actually procure through SPCs and with

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_01]: so much thought of that's been given free like literally free there's so much thought of that

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_01]: you could constantly getting that you can use to get your cards to upgrade the SPCs and alongside

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_01]: that if you have a fast track method where you can actually spend some money and get this particular

[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_01]: card at any given time there you go you're given the option the long drawn out method of trying

[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_01]: to play the game consistently for a month and a half or two months and get the photo you need

[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_01]: together use to APO or just spend 20 bucks or 40 bucks or 100 bucks on getting a user be able to

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_01]: release there's an option right there for you yeah I think sorry go on I think what you will see

[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_00]: if this does come in an inspiration I think you'll see the end of low key sort of people

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_00]: grind and no way out through the divisions unless you're somebody you know like one of the

[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_00]: top you know like the text that Harry has got to you know you know they do put on points don't get

[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_00]: me wrong but unless you have that caliber because we were saying off like my teams what a month old

[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm in Dev three I'm two games away from Dev two not put anything on and you know my

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_00]: teams behind the curve already but we're fighting our way through you know between co-op and whatever

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I think if there's these players and packs in the store that becomes even more difficult because

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I think you'll find players in the lower divisions will buy these to try and move up so

[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it'll be the end of the casual casual grinder if you like you know somebody that's not just

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_00]: playing a game now and then but somebody that's potentially not of a skill level to get up to division

[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_00]: two three that over a whole season would end up creeping in there I think it would be you know

[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_00]: the you see these players settle in in Dev seven, Dev eight, Dev sex whatever they are which

[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_00]: you know that's not a slate on them I just think it would kill the semi casual players rather than

[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_01]: you know the the true grinders or the normal casuals. Okay I'm gonna give another this is sorry yeah go

[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_01]: gamers often he's got a lot of coins he opens a lot of packs whatever he does engage a lot with the game

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_01]: he just came back I think just two days ago one drink what to do with the game and I said do this

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_01]: as PC I do that as PC he said he said no chance I can't grind towards the whole of that takes it's

[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_01]: too much work I'm not gonna bother doing that for these kind of people you give an option of spending

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_01]: X Y and Z dollars to get a card that they play that engage with the game they will move on they'll

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_01]: play for a little while and they'll go away because we might think of doing these SPC's a second

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_01]: nature because we engage with the game so heavily we love the grind we love doing this is a lot

[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_01]: of casuals that could be bothered doing a 50 grind SPC to do the upgrade packs to do all the

[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_01]: gameplay content to get those packs they just can't be bothered so those kind of people just

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_01]: will want something and they will engage with ES content and they will make ESM money along the way as

[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_01]: that's probably what year is Anglican towards anyway yeah I think he played a bit of a blinder on

[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_02]: the financial point of view this year because I think like you said chat they put so many good

[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_02]: SPCs out there that their you know people are working towards your saber and they're all

[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_02]: there but one or two squads away oh what do I do oh there's an 88 by 10 pack in the store I'll just

[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_02]: do that and finish this off so packs have gone away almost from being not just your one chance

[00:34:20] [SPEAKER_02]: of striking it mega lucky they've now turned into a place of oh I'll just use this to finish

[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_02]: this SPC and get my mega squad so hey it's a tricky one it is a tricky one but we will we will

[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_02]: you get four players one of them will be rare they think i'll start with you what is your approach

[00:35:14] [SPEAKER_02]: to recycling grinding through these menus what are you going to be doing over these next two weeks

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_00]: so currently i'm waiting until Thursday before i really do any of them so i'm going to wait

[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_00]: for mark you match up so we get some of the tradable packs back uh i don't want to send all my

[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_00]: lower rated golds and leave these out although obviously they'll look on one's open packs but i just

[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_00]: want to have this bigger number before i start opening as i can um with them it's going to be a combination

[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_01]: primary league end up yourself that's going to be where all my career everything will be the um

[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_01]: no man left behind no woman left behind attitude for a while is just gonna go into grinding those

[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_01]: over and over and over again till my fingers have no feeling anymore. I already kind of know

[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_02]: that feeling and it brings back my memories last year as grinding and grinding and grinding and

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_02]: finally getting van Dyke about a day before that. Yeah, Max and just feeling i said to Nathan

[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_02]: who is that recording if you sit there on your phone for two long period of these things you see

[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_02]: you did the kind of nausea does come over me we're on kind of like completely zoned out

[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_02]: it's quite just a lack of movement but so yeah please move around people and stay hydrated

[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to be doing a combination of both i love the league SPC aspect purely for the fact that

[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_02]: in my head i think the packs are more likely to pop something i never seems to get anything from

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_02]: these league upgrades but also there are tradable cards within there as well so it does kind of give

[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_02]: you a way to keep the you know the fires going in terms of of coins then awfully cards

[00:49:26] [SPEAKER_01]: i really enjoyed using it in uh this at this particular iteration of uh champs i really want to

[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_01]: continue using it because i had um really good players it worked really well scored a lot of goals

[00:49:38] [SPEAKER_01]: considered a few goals because i don't have a true CDM i think if you have a uh us a high defensive

[00:49:43] [SPEAKER_01]: a medium attacking mid-feeler it really would enhance the formation a lot more that's what

[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_01]: the tactics actually are prescribed for you to have but i'm using colet and put the s and i really

[00:49:53] [SPEAKER_02]: i really enjoyed it yeah i'm still rocking 43 one um i've been using for well best part of three

[00:49:59] [SPEAKER_02]: four weeks now it's it's doing the job sometimes it's a bit a little bit annoying so don't get the

[00:50:03] [SPEAKER_02]: the presence in the box i like for whipping crosses in which kind of links into player in review
