[00:01:59] I had a bit of a gripe this morning where I got disconnected every second game in squad battles as well.

[00:02:04] So probably you'll struggle to get more than probably low level gold now, which is very frustrating.

[00:02:09] And some of the tokens look nice, but my usual sort of format, I would probably end up taking the fodder anyway,

[00:02:14] because I love fodder for SBCs.

[00:02:16] So some of them look quite nice. Some, you know, the weekend league ones, I don't know how everyone else feels,

[00:02:20] but I think the weekend league rewards look decent, but not phenomenal with Felix and stuff.

[00:02:25] I don't think he's a top tier card, so it'll go straight into amazing teams, but it's a nice premise.

[00:02:31] I'm glad to see swaps of the sword back. It would just be nicer if it was a bit more widely accessible.

[00:02:35] Yeah, well, it's all right. I think the switch I said it on Friday shows.

[00:02:39] I think this is a nice switch through from the old style version of swap.

[00:02:45] But again, I'm not too interested about the players and I just am so freaking busy.

[00:02:50] And that's of course why we didn't make any shorts on the last week, but we're back now.

[00:02:54] And I'm going to focus on making the content as good as possible, which means I'm going to try a lot of players opening packs, opening goody SBCs.

[00:03:01] And Nathan, this weekend has made me so confused because there are a zillion SBCs out there.

[00:03:08] There are a zillion packs you can do.

[00:03:11] About a million other ways of getting players from objectives, but I am not even, I wasn't even able to check out those things.

[00:03:19] I'm the, this is my first thing. I, I, I don't have much time and then I sit down, take my phone out, pretend I'm working on emails, but instead I'm doing SBCs.

[00:03:28] Right? Which SBCs are actually worth doing?

[00:03:32] I had such weird ranging range of pulls out of these packs.

[00:03:38] And there's not one where I can say that is the SBC you should be doing.

[00:03:43] The only one I really digged and got some really good players from is the 82 times 14, which is weird enough on zone, but I got some decent pulls out of that.

[00:03:54] What about you? What do you think? What is the SBC you should be doing or should be focusing on if you want to grind them in use?

[00:03:59] There's quite a few, 82 times 14. I've seen some really good pulls.

[00:04:03] Um, I've had some horrible, horrible look with that as well.

[00:04:06] I've had a whole pack of 82s and 83s, but I've had lots of high rated fodders from that as well.

[00:04:11] So it's look of the draw.

[00:04:12] Um, I've been skipping these combo upgrades.

[00:04:15] I think they're a bit of a sham, some of these, uh, combo upgrades.

[00:04:17] So I've been doing the 84 player pack every time the 83 double, um, and every hour since Friday, the 80 plus pack is refreshed.

[00:04:26] So I have spent about 300 K on foundation packs that they call to the ones where it gives you, you can buy like gold rare players and gold common players.

[00:04:34] Cause I'm too lazy to do it myself.

[00:04:36] So I've spent a lot on that to top my club up, but I like the player pick premise.

[00:04:40] You get, you know, some decent packs you get, you know, the top ones haven't been coming to my account yet, but can't really complain.

[00:04:47] But I've been doing the ones that you've got a little bit more control over.

[00:04:49] Like I say, I think the combo upgrades are a bit naff because they still want quite a high rated team, but they still give you a lower rated cards and return and just one potentially decent card back.

[00:04:58] I think with the, the pack weight, I think on Friday was initially boosted this, uh, certainly today and late last night, it seems to have kind of gone back down again.

[00:05:07] It's weird how that worked.

[00:05:08] Cause I had the same feeling Friday night.

[00:05:10] I was grinding, I was grinding and getting some good pulls.

[00:05:12] I said, I packed soul and I packed rush from it.

[00:05:16] I packed Matuidi tradable actually from a, from a weird, I think a 10 coin pack or something, which was like, that's a nice 230 or 240,000 coins for free.

[00:05:26] Uh, which was really nice.

[00:05:28] Then again, after that, I get a plenty of team of the week, which I mean, there's 17 impacts currently.

[00:05:33] So that's hopefully that is actually the case of course, but besides that it's not, it's not much, but here's something that's sort of been bugging me this weekend.

[00:05:44] People have been extremely frustrating if they can't pack anything and people have been extremely, well, there have been people being extremely obnoxious if they did pack anything.

[00:05:57] And a, I'm almost afraid to share my pulls.

[00:06:01] I have a bit of a team of the year feeling with this.

[00:06:03] You understand what I'm saying?

[00:06:04] Like if you pack something, you want to say, yes, I got something.

[00:06:07] Let's show everyone.

[00:06:08] But you're also wary of doing it because you don't want to make people feel bad about the fact they didn't pack anything.

[00:06:14] Yeah, absolutely.

[00:06:16] I mean, I've had decent luck.

[00:06:17] I've opened a couple of store packs for my coins.

[00:06:19] I'm, I'm sitting on a nice hefty budget on coins.

[00:06:21] So I kind of, I like to share the ones I get from safe packs, but I don't really shout about the ones that I open with coins because I feel like that's a decision and it's not really pack luck because a lot of the ones I choose either have a guaranteed in it or, you know, they're the higher rated ones.

[00:06:37] So I don't mind keeping that either to myself.

[00:06:39] I'll put it into the group chat I've got with Dan and Shaq, but I don't really shout about anything unless it's pure pack luck or, you know, if I do the picks from the SBCs or whatever, then yeah, absolutely.

[00:06:49] I'm happy to shout about that, but there is a bit of a team of the year feeling in, in respects that I think a lot of the top tier cards are still really hard to find.

[00:06:57] I'm fortunate enough that I've managed to get quite a lot of the lower tiered sort of promo cards.

[00:07:01] And I've had a couple of very good team of the weeks.

[00:07:03] I've had the tradable Theo Hernandez, which I sold because I've got the Michael Mendy.

[00:07:07] I've had the team of the week, Messi and you know, some of the ones that aren't maybe incredibly incredible money, but they're a bit rarer anyway.

[00:07:15] So still nice though.

[00:07:16] Yeah, absolutely.

[00:07:17] It's good to see these ones coming out. Absolutely.

[00:07:20] But yeah, I think we've got to be careful at times because I think some people seem to have all the luck and it does kind of get, it does get on people that don't have the look sort of nerves.

[00:07:29] But then the other time, a lot of people think they've not had good back luck.

[00:07:32] And then you look through what you've had over the space of, you know, what we had two months in, something like that, eight, nine weeks in.

[00:07:39] And a lot of people have actually had very good pulls.

[00:07:41] It's just at different times.

[00:07:42] So a good pull in, you know, end of September, beginning of October now looks like it's a nothing pull.

[00:07:47] But actually at the time it was an incredible pull.

[00:07:49] And, you know, I think it's all about perspective at the moment, isn't it?

[00:07:52] Yeah, but also I think perspective is the correct word here.

[00:07:57] I think it's also, there are so many players which are really good.

[00:08:01] You can pack from these, whatever gamble packs, eh?

[00:08:05] And for example, I use left back Guerrero.

[00:08:09] Guerrero from Munich.

[00:08:10] I don't even know how to pronounce properly.

[00:08:12] Sorry about that.

[00:08:12] The left back from Bayern Munich.

[00:08:14] I love that card.

[00:08:16] He dropped down tremendously.

[00:08:17] He's at 20k or something like that.

[00:08:19] Yeah.

[00:08:20] Still a terrific, terrific center.

[00:08:23] If you pack that, you're like, oh, I didn't get anything.

[00:08:25] But actually, you can still use him for a whole long while, this card.

[00:08:29] I don't see any issues with that.

[00:08:30] There was another card, I think a right back which I packed.

[00:08:37] And if I look at the price, he's like 140, something like that.

[00:08:42] Sure, it's not that end of bill, but you're not selling him anyways.

[00:08:48] That's a different thing altogether, right?

[00:08:51] That is a brilliant pool.

[00:08:53] But I think there are so many cards which just are so usable and maybe be happy about what you get.

[00:08:59] I packed Fjordrich card, which we discussed Friday and a couple of more.

[00:09:04] Andrich as well, I think.

[00:09:06] These cards are really cool.

[00:09:07] They can still upgrade and they're worth nothing.

[00:09:09] I wouldn't be unhappy with just keeping packing these pools.

[00:09:13] And if I look at my team of the week, I currently have 73 team of the week players in my club.

[00:09:18] Wow.

[00:09:19] I never had 73 team of the week players in my club in my life as a FIFA player.

[00:09:24] So there's something happening here.

[00:09:26] Although I'm not going to use any of them.

[00:09:28] And there are no big pools in it, but it will definitely help with the USBCs later on.

[00:09:32] Yeah, I mean, I think the team of the week thing is something that we'll focus on tomorrow.

[00:09:35] Because I know that Shaq and Dan being master traders have their thoughts on what's happening with team of the weeks and all that.

[00:09:41] But no, you're right.

[00:09:42] There's lots of cards out there that either plummeted in price or aren't worth an awful lot.

[00:09:47] But if you look at the stats, the stats are incredible.

[00:09:49] It's just because they're not a traditional big name player.

[00:09:52] They're potentially not super meta.

[00:09:54] But in this game, there's so many different ways of playing as well.

[00:09:58] I run a fairly meta team.

[00:10:00] I'm not going to lie.

[00:10:00] But I don't have the most meta team by any means.

[00:10:05] But I think it's all about, you know, the connection to the players.

[00:10:08] I've got, I'm just looking now, I've got two.

[00:10:10] I've got four of my United players in my team just now.

[00:10:13] And United are absolutely, well, they were terrible.

[00:10:15] We've now got the bearded God as our manager.

[00:10:18] And it's all, you know, we're going to win the league again this year.

[00:10:20] So it's fine.

[00:10:22] But it's all about the connection to the players.

[00:10:24] And I've dropped, you know, there was that Bowie, I think, was the right back.

[00:10:28] Yeah.

[00:10:28] That came out that everyone was like, you must do because you'll upgrade because of the pro.

[00:10:31] But I've dropped him and I've evoked Diego Delo, who is absolutely nowhere near the levels.

[00:10:37] But I just want to have, you know, more players that I quite like in the team.

[00:10:41] So again, perspective, it depends how you look at things and how you want to look at things.

[00:10:45] And if you just want the cards that you think all the pros are going to use

[00:10:48] and all the elite players are going to use, yeah, you're very unlikely to pack these at a consistent basis.

[00:10:54] But at the same time, are we all playing at elite level?

[00:10:57] Are we all playing at pro level?

[00:10:58] Like we're not.

[00:10:59] But, you know, if you want to have fun in this game, have players that mean something to you.

[00:11:03] Definitely.

[00:11:04] Talk about players that could mean something to you.

[00:11:06] We got some new SBCs coming in.

[00:11:09] We're not going to take a deep dive into all of them.

[00:11:11] I think there's too much content out to actually do that.

[00:11:13] But I think you were happy with Casemiro last week.

[00:11:18] He is in my team as my deep line playmaker at the moment.

[00:12:03] Well, it's just a very, very nice league.

[00:12:10] Do you know how much the league looks like?

[00:12:14] Is it not this area that there's about three points between the top six or something?

[00:12:18] It's like incredibly close.

[00:13:21] So my initial thoughts of this is he's a jack of all trades and master of none.

[00:13:26] I think he's on the expensive side.

[00:13:28] Obviously, his upgrades may help.

[00:13:31] His passing is obviously a standout.

[00:13:34] And he's got some nice sort of normal play styles.

[00:13:37] Well, the play style plus that you maybe would want there.

[00:13:41] But for me, it's like I say, it's a, it's a nice card.

[00:13:45] It's a very solid cards, but I don't think he would really fit anything that I do very well.

[00:13:50] I don't think he's kind of like made for, made for me anyway.

[00:13:55] I think he'd be fine.

[00:13:56] I think he could probably do a job, but I don't think it's like a the Spirello cards go out and, you know, instant complete.

[00:14:02] So I don't think it's kind of that level in my opinion.

[00:14:06] No, we have to make this card does, is able to upgrade, right?

[00:14:10] So that does look good.

[00:14:12] I think this is a well-priced SBC for a card.

[00:14:17] That's really good.

[00:14:18] If he fits your team.

[00:14:20] Slash if you're a fan.

[00:14:22] And if I would categorize that, I was saying, this isn't don't do it.

[00:14:26] A should do or a must do, right?

[00:14:29] Or it could do.

[00:14:30] I think this is definitely this.

[00:14:31] Like what you could do.

[00:14:33] I'd be a pain facing this card.

[00:14:36] It's called dynamic image and he might upgrade, but that's it.

[00:14:42] So to speak, he's not a must do.

[00:14:44] Yeah, absolutely.

[00:14:45] I think like I say, his passing is 85 and his dribbling is 89, which is nice.

[00:14:51] But his shooting is pretty mare.

[00:14:53] His defending, he's got decent play styles, but again, his stat wise, defending isn't tremendous.

[00:15:01] Yeah, absolutely.

[00:15:02] His press proven is quite nice.

[00:15:03] His pace is all right.

[00:15:05] It's decent for centimeter.

[00:15:06] His stamina is excellent.

[00:15:07] But again, physical, maybe not so much.

[00:15:11] It's yeah, it's a do if you've got particular fondness for him, but it's absolutely not a build, you know, rebuild your team to put them in type card.

[00:15:19] Now that does make me ask that you're not doing it this one, right?

[00:15:23] No, absolutely not.

[00:15:25] All right.

[00:15:26] So Barella is a could do we say?

[00:15:31] Yeah, could do.

[00:15:31] What about the 1 million costing center back Marcel Desailly?

[00:15:39] I can't even advise if it's a could do, should do.

[00:15:42] I don't think it's a must do.

[00:15:44] On the fence, I'm quite tempted because I quite like his cards.

[00:15:47] He's a bit of a Van Dyke-esque kind of tank in the middle.

[00:15:50] But I've heard very mixed reviews.

[00:15:53] His pace is adequate.

[00:15:54] He's got 83 pace.

[00:15:55] His defending is pretty nice.

[00:15:58] His physical is good with his strength and aggression.

[00:16:02] But then you look at his passing is very low.

[00:16:06] His agility and balance is low.

[00:16:08] Although he's got high composure and decent reactions.

[00:16:12] I think for a million coins, you could probably pick up cards that are just as good or maybe even do you a bit better for quite a lot less than that.

[00:16:22] In all honesty, I don't think there'll be a lot of difference between him and say Saliba, apart from the icon link, which is always nice to have.

[00:16:29] So I think it's again, it's probably more of a could do because I'm sure like even with his upgrades, he'll be good as well.

[00:16:36] He's got some decent play styles as well, but it's definitely not a must rush out to it.

[00:16:41] So it'd be quite nice to have if you got surplus.

[00:16:43] But again, a million coins for this is probably on the top side.

[00:16:48] I'll be a little bit harsher, shall I?

[00:16:51] If you compare this one to Virgil van Dyke gold card, the difference isn't that big.

[00:16:57] The one has stopper, the other one is ball playing defender.

[00:17:00] Sure, that does make a difference.

[00:17:01] And the CE is a little bit faster and could upgrade.

[00:17:06] That's it, right?

[00:17:08] Virgil costs 151,000.

[00:17:10] This one costs a million.

[00:17:12] A center defender is important.

[00:17:14] I mean, especially if you're as poor player as I am, then it's really important.

[00:17:20] But it won't make you enjoy the game much more.

[00:17:24] Whereas a Yomongraff, for example, will definitely do that for you.

[00:17:29] So I'd never advise doing a million coins SBC on the center defender.

[00:17:36] It just can't.

[00:17:38] Also, the one thing it's not, you know, say it's not a key extra value, but the nice thing is that he does have CDM.

[00:17:45] So although his stats, his passing kind of lets him down for that, it does give you that little bit of flexibility not to have players out of position if you want to go from, say, a four back to a five back.

[00:17:56] Although I'm not saying that this is something that you should absolutely take into account and do it for, but it does allow that little bit more freedom if you want slightly different setups now in your in-game tactics.

[00:18:07] 100%.

[00:18:08] But here it is.

[00:18:09] I checked out Cattuso this weekend.

[00:18:13] Cattuso is how much?

[00:18:16] TK?

[00:18:16] Something like that, yeah.

[00:18:18] He has better play cells at CDM.

[00:18:19] Way better play cells.

[00:18:21] And he has better tackling, better defensive awareness, better interceptions, better sliding tackle, physically almost as strong.

[00:18:29] Better stamina, higher aggression.

[00:18:33] Better dribbling, better passing, way better passing.

[00:18:37] And he's 60K.

[00:18:38] I'd always go for a Cattuso CDM over there.

[00:18:41] Yeah.

[00:18:42] Like I say, it's more if you had different setups.

[00:18:44] Cattuso can't just slot into that center back with an actual role without being out of position.

[00:18:50] But again, I don't think a million coins is worth this.

[00:18:53] And, you know, like I said, I'm quite lucky that I've got the coins and I was quite tempted, but the more I look at it and the more I've kind of looked at some reviews of it, I've been thinking.

[00:19:02] It's probably, if it was 500K, I'd probably be quite tempted to do it.

[00:19:06] I'm not going to lie, but.

[00:19:07] That, that would change it.

[00:19:08] But I, I agree.

[00:19:11] I would say, don't do it.

[00:19:13] You say you could do it.

[00:19:14] Let's make it a good too, because, oh, it's your own choice, but I'm definitely not touching it.

[00:19:38] Talking about getting a boost, what about Bajor, SBC, who comes in at 140,000.

[00:19:45] But before I discuss that, I have to say, you guys gotta do the Ischikovani.

[00:19:56] Yes.

[00:19:56] And the other one, I forgot his name, came out Friday night, Stryker, 20K.

[00:20:03] But you can't do him anymore, because he was only out for 24 hours or so.

[00:20:07] Mind those cards, because I think Cavani is actually really cool.

[00:20:12] And for that price, you should have done it.

[00:20:15] If you didn't do it, you'll be having a pain facing that card over the weekend, over the week.

[00:20:19] But let's talk about Bajor.

[00:20:20] So, 40,000 coming in at SBC.

[00:20:23] It's cheap-ish.

[00:20:25] It is, but when you look at...

[00:20:28] So, it's an 89 rated one.

[00:20:29] If you look at the team of the week, which isn't too much different, team of the week is 16K.

[00:20:35] So, I mean, it's a mess for me.

[00:20:38] Like, the pace is nice, the shooting's nice, the prices are alright, but just when you compare it to just the in-form,

[00:20:45] I just think that there's not 120K different just for that.

[00:20:49] Oh, advance forward plus plus, first advance forward.

[00:20:52] Yeah, there is that.

[00:20:53] And like I say, this will be a nice card.

[00:20:55] If you run a, is it a Liga F or a Barcelona team, then she will be nice.

[00:21:01] Like, finishing up at 94, she's got a decent pace.

[00:21:03] Get an upgrade as well.

[00:21:04] Yeah, a dribbling's fantastic.

[00:23:49] So if you found formation that works for you, that you're getting good results with,

[00:23:55] Same with if you've got a team that's feeling nice, you know, the best way to do that is to find a setup

[00:24:00] that you can play and you enjoy and then improve the players that you already have.

[00:24:04] I think it might take more to kind of get your head around using a whole new style compared to what you're doing quite well.

[00:24:12] You know, if you're already at a high level, which I know Adam, Adam's a very good player and he does get very good results.

[00:24:17] So I'd be hesitant to advise him to change his team around just to get Vinny.

[00:24:20] On the other hand, though, like I know that he's got that affection with Vinny that he's liked for the last however many millions of years.

[00:24:25] So there is a little bit to be saying about that.

[00:24:28] But, you know, when you've got a player that you're super obsessed with,

[00:24:30] you've probably got more of a tendency to feed the ball through him and break down the rest of your play.

[00:24:35] I've got one really simple answer that I always like a simple question, which I always ask myself.

[00:24:44] If you are in doubt over a player, then it's probably not worth doing the player.

[00:26:15] But I would never do SON SPC because I would have that same issue.

[00:26:20] So if I pack him and tradable, okay, I'll fit him in because there would be a ways not to do so.

[00:26:24] But if I actually have to put any effort into maintaining that and then change my team, I'm like, then it's probably not a good fit now.

[00:26:36] And you say, even if I don't use them ever until 89 rated fuller, probably 20K in a while.
