FIR SHORTS: Team of the WEAK & a Superb SBC

[00:00:09] Today is the 30th of October and it's a Wednesday, which means it's time for Team of the Week number 7.

[00:00:18] And the FC Pro objectives are back on the last day of the current season.

[00:00:25] So before we kick off Season 2 on Thursday, let's start with some of the SBCs that arrived today.

[00:00:32] We have another Trailblazer card, namely Castello Luqueba.

[00:00:51] Luqueba is a 85 rated center defender from Red Bull Leipzig.

[00:01:10] Luqueba is a 85 rated center defender from France, I said already.

[00:01:17] Luqueba is a 3 star weak foot, but who cares on defenders too much?

[00:01:22] Luqueba is a stopper plus, a ball playing defender plus,

[00:01:26] and a defender plus, which is really good. He is 6 foot tall or 184 centimeters.

[00:01:37] And if I look at this card, I'm going to be honest, this is a must do card.

[00:01:44] Even though if he doesn't fit your team right now, it is a card that's possible for an evolution later on.

[00:01:50] It is a card. French defenders are usually, well, very much linkable.

[00:01:54] And the card itself is really, really good.

[00:01:58] If you put a shadow on this card, he comes in with 90 acceleration and 88 sprint speed,

[00:02:03] 92 interception, 88 defensive awareness, 95 standing tackle, and 98 sliding tackle.

[00:02:12] He has 94 jumping with 85 strength and 85 aggression.

[00:02:17] There is absolutely, absolutely nothing wrong with this card.

[00:02:22] But let's see if he has any play styles.

[00:02:24] He has the slight tackle, the anticipate, the bruiser, and the block play styles.

[00:02:29] Not plus the regular cards, but still 4 out of 6 of the play styles Ada Friendly can have.

[00:02:36] So we got a French player that's easy to link.

[00:02:39] The Bundesliga isn't hard to link, but the French link goes way beyond that.

[00:02:43] He is extremely fast.

[00:02:44] He has a, like a role on every single position and on every role on the center defender,

[00:02:53] including the defender of plus plus, which is awesome in most formation.

[00:02:58] Perfect defending stats.

[00:02:59] I can't see anything wrong with this.

[00:03:02] And even like if this card, if this SBC, and I've been complaining about the price of SBCs lately a lot.

[00:03:09] If this SBC comes in at 100,000, it's still worth considering it is 20,000 coins to do this SBC.

[00:03:20] It's fuller amount of value.

[00:03:24] Please, please, please just do this SBC.

[00:03:26] Even if he doesn't fit your team right now, he might come in handy later on.

[00:03:30] He might come in handy for SBCs.

[00:03:32] And this feels everything like one of those cards you will regret doing.

[00:03:37] You regret not doing him at the end of a season, for example.

[00:03:42] In a month, you might see this card running everywhere and you're like, I wish I could have done this.

[00:03:46] He's also left-footed and there's not many left-footed players.

[00:03:50] Available at center defense, so that will also help with build.

[00:04:50] It is the first party bag, the RTTK slash total rush upgrade.

[00:04:57] You can earn a pack containing one RTTK or a total rush player item.

[00:05:03] And if you look at this, what you can get from this, you only have to do an 82 rated squad and an 83 rated squad with one team of the week player.

[00:05:14] Comes in around 35,000 coins to two.

[00:05:19] And there's a lot of players there.

[00:05:20] There's a lot of players to actually get from this.

[00:05:26] If I quickly do it, I think there's six, eight, 10, 20.

[00:05:31] Yeah, there must be at least 100 players.

[00:05:33] I think options, optional somewhere around.

[00:05:35] I think the one, I think we're at 96 players.

[00:05:39] If I count correctly, very surely I should have prepared this better.

[00:05:42] But I think there's 96 players you can get from, and not all of those players are actually worth

[00:05:48] that 30,000 or 40,000 coins.

[00:05:51] But then again, there's lots that there are.

[00:05:53] There's the Brownie card.

[00:05:54] We got the Mbappe card, of course, the Frank de Jong, the Neymar card, the Griezmann card,

[00:05:58] especially the rush cards are definitely worth it.

[00:06:00] And even if you pack one of the RTK Road to the knockout phase, players might actually be worth it.

[00:06:08] And I have said this before, I will put my money where it worth it.

[00:06:11] I would just do this SPC.

[00:06:13] And I actually have done it.

[00:06:14] So if you are again watching the YouTube version as is traditional, and I have heard that people

[00:06:20] do appreciate me putting this on these shows as well, which I'll of course do now as well.

[00:06:26] I will open up the web app and we'll open up the pack I got from it to show you if it's actually

[00:06:32] worth something at all.

[00:06:34] Why got us Piliqueta from it, which is probably the worst player to get from it.

[00:06:40] It's around 15,000, 14,000 coins.

[00:06:43] So that's not, I even have a duplicate.

[00:06:46] But it was worth the camel, I'd say.

[00:06:49] And this time it didn't work out the camel.

[00:06:51] But I think generally speaking, not too bad.

[00:06:54] And I will probably put them into the Luke Kba SPC later on.

[00:07:00] That brings us, and I should actually play a sad song.

[00:07:10] Not really sad, but it's a sad day for Team of the Week.

[00:07:15] I have said for the last couple of weeks when I recorded this show on a Wednesday night,

[00:07:20] that the Team of the Week usually consists out of a lot of low rated players.

[00:07:26] Maybe there's one silver player that got a little bit of an upgrade, but usually

[00:07:29] there is one player in a Team of the Week, which is worth going for, is worth like a million,

[00:07:37] or at least like 400, 500,000.

[00:07:41] Sometimes, very often actually so far, there's been two players, one very expensive and one

[00:07:45] that's reasonably expensive.

[00:07:48] But I'm going to be honest, when I saw today's Team of the Week, I would write Team of the Week.

[00:07:54] I would spell right Team of the Week a little bit differently, because this is,

[00:07:58] by far the worst Team of the Week we've had so far in FC 25.

[00:08:04] I can't make it any better either.

[00:08:06] The top card in this one is Openda, which of course links with Luke Eba.

[00:08:13] And he's fast, but he's still, he's forced out weak, but it's a decent card.

[00:08:18] It comes in 144,000 coins as we record this, which will probably, when you listen to this on,

[00:08:24] most people will listen on this on Thursday, it would be drop down already.

[00:08:29] Kante is of course a fun card, but not necessarily end-all be-all.

[00:08:34] Kante comes in at 120,000 currently.

[00:08:39] And if I'm going to be honest, that is all there's to this whole Team of the Week.

[00:08:44] There is not a single card.

[00:08:47] You could say maybe Lacroix with 90 pace could be worth something.

[00:08:53] But then we look at Lacroix, we look at his rolls.

[00:08:56] No plus-plus play styles, no play styles at all.

[00:08:59] Like zero play styles.

[00:09:01] So he's a fast center defender.

[00:09:04] That's nice, I guess.

[00:09:06] But the defensive stats aren't really good.

[00:09:09] There's no play styles, like I said on it.

[00:09:13] I think 82 interceptions on the defending.

[00:09:16] Yeah, sure, he's fast, but that's about it.

[00:09:19] This is by far the worst Team of the Week we've had in FC 25.

[00:09:24] And this has to change already.

[00:09:26] You can't like, it's funny.

[00:09:28] You need Team of the Week for SBCs like you have tonight for that Gamble SBC.

[00:09:34] But I think Team of the Week, it should feel like having a promo card.

[00:09:38] Team of the Week should feel like if you pack something, it could be cool.

[00:09:41] I remember the days, and yeah, I'm an old man by now.

[00:09:44] But I remember the days where if you pack the Team of the Week,

[00:09:46] it would very often be a very usable card for that time of the era we were playing in.

[00:09:54] So far, if you get one of these cards, maybe if you see Lacroix,

[00:09:58] you might be like, oh, this is cool.

[00:09:59] But like I said, it's really not that cool at all.

[00:10:03] Can you imagine getting an 80-rated security, 12,000?

[00:10:07] Everything is like rubbish here.

[00:10:10] There's not a single cheap beast, I would say that could be worth it either.

[00:10:14] I thought maybe the Oktur Koglu card would be nice to an 81-rated Cam.

[00:10:19] But he can't shoot.

[00:10:21] He's again, he's decently reasonably fast.

[00:10:24] That's about it.

[00:10:26] And again, play styles aren't there either.

[00:10:29] Yeah, sorry.

[00:10:30] I could spend all night, but this Team of the Week is not going to get any better, unfortunately.
