[00:01:11] And yeah, I was up at 2.30 this morning. But never mind. I thought I'd pop on to give a spoiler away. I will not be doing the Tuesday Club as usual this week because it is half term here in the UK.

[00:01:56] So we'll talk evolutions. We'll talk in. Yeah, as we see, hero as we see and an icon as we see came out who said we didn't get anything to do your expenses so far.

[00:02:08] I have done something in this game. I have not done ever before, which I want to talk about for a minute or so.

[00:02:15] And EA is striking the band hammer. And hold on. They are asking for feedback, Daniel.

[00:02:23] Whoa. Whoa. Where do you want to start? It's so much stuff.

[00:02:25] Oh, well, we've got lots to go through since the weekend. I'll tell you what, we'll start with, I think, with some of the SBC content,

[00:02:32] because that is probably the thing that brings us right up to date into Monday.

[00:02:37] We'll start with stuff that came out over the weekend. One of the big talking points player wise,

[00:02:42] a card that lots of people are rushing out to do is a former foot favorite.

[00:02:47] Moussa Sissoko now plays his trade in the championship, which used to be the best league in the world until about two seasons ago when a certain team got relegated from it.

[00:02:56] He's now plays for Watford. But being French, he is very linkable.

[00:03:01] He came out as part of the championship foundations as a couple of other players you can go and unlock for this.

[00:03:06] But the big thing with this Moussa Sissoko card is we got those two foundation evolutions.

[00:03:14] And if you put this card and you can put it into both, he becomes an absolute monster of a card.

[00:03:23] So it is very worth you going out and doing that.

[00:03:27] As you can see, for those of you watching the video show, 87 pace, 85 passing, 86 dribbling, 85 defending and 85 physicals.

[00:03:36] The guy is a monster with all of the play styles you would want.

[00:03:40] Four star, four star as well.

[00:03:42] The closest thing that most of us are going to get to a Vieira in this game cycle until at least footies.

[00:03:50] Definitely, if you still got those foundations evos available, I would highly recommend doing this.

[00:03:55] Even if you can only get him in on one or two chem, I think this card will be very much worth it.

[00:04:01] And the best thing is, John, he's only going to cost you 25,000 coins.

[00:04:05] Now, there's even one thing that's better.

[00:04:08] I currently run this formation with two CDMs.

[00:04:12] One of them is Petit, of course, French icon.

[00:04:16] And one of them is Thuram, of course.

[00:04:17] Another French, not icon, but still very good CDM.

[00:04:21] The rest of my team pretty much is Premier League.

[00:04:25] Well, that doesn't really matter with this card.

[00:04:27] But I think another French CDM, maybe?

[00:04:29] I'm running a French team at the end of the week, probably.

[00:04:32] Yeah, I'm exactly the same as you, running that 4-2-3-1.

[00:04:35] So, yeah, I've got two defensive CDMs at the moment.

[00:04:37] I was running Gold Shure Many in there.

[00:04:39] And this card is going to slot very nicely into that position.

[00:04:43] So, yeah, I recommend getting him done.

[00:04:45] Look, even if you haven't got the Evolutions left, I think this would be a really nice card

[00:04:48] just on its base form to bring on.

[00:04:50] Maybe if you're looking to see out a game.

[00:04:52] And again, lots of us have got those 81s, 82, 83 sat in that SBC storage.

[00:04:57] And that's very worth doing because, as I said, the highest rated squad here is an 83 to get done.

[00:05:03] So, chances are you can do this without breaking a sweat.

[00:05:06] And now we're talking about CDMs, John.

[00:05:10] Jumping ahead.

[00:05:11] I thought you were going to talk about sweat.

[00:05:13] Oh, well, I mean, we can talk about that later on.

[00:05:16] Talking of CDMs, two have been released just tonight.

[00:05:19] We've had a, I think this is our first showdown of the year, if I'm not mistaken.

[00:05:24] And it involves, it's actually quite topical on the day that Eric ten Hag got the boot from Manchester United.

[00:05:31] One of his final, if not his final signing at the club is part of this showdown.

[00:05:35] Manuel Agate goes head to head with Chelsea's Moises' Saicedo.

[00:05:40] Both of them 84 rated cards.

[00:05:44] Both of them reasonably cheap.

[00:05:46] Saicedo slightly more expensive at 76,000 compared to 45,000 for Agate.

[00:05:53] John, both these cards very, very similar in terms of their stats, their roles, their play styles.

[00:06:00] This very much just feels like a coin flip.

[00:06:03] Or actually, I think in my case, I think I might just do a future prove myself and just do both.

[00:06:08] Again, if you have a showdown, what happens if one wins?

[00:06:13] Or what happens when you draw?

[00:06:15] Well, you get a plus two if they win and you get a plus one if the game ends in a draw.

[00:06:20] Now, this is at Old Trafford.

[00:06:22] Of course, United in pretty horrible form at the moment.

[00:06:26] Chelsea on the opposite side really starting to click under Mareska.

[00:06:29] But are United going to get that Rud van Nistelrooy new manager bounce?

[00:06:34] That's my pause for thought here.

[00:06:37] And from a person that's got Ronaldo Rojo, a Uruguayan centre-back in my team.

[00:06:43] If Agate were to get that upgrade, it would actually be quite handy for my team building.

[00:06:47] Yeah, generally speaking, both of these cards are pretty doable link-wise, right?

[00:06:52] Anyways, without the nationalities.

[00:06:54] So, ah, that's cool.

[00:06:55] I do think, especially if you still play Rush, and I say if you still are playing Rush,

[00:07:01] those nationalities can actually be really helpful to have in your team anyways.

[00:07:05] Absolutely.

[00:07:06] The only real difference between the two cards is that Agate's got a little bit of a bump physicality-wise.

[00:07:13] And he's three-star weak foot, four-star skills.

[00:07:17] Whereas Saicedo has the four-star weak foot and the three-star skills.

[00:07:23] So, it just depends on what you like.

[00:07:24] Like, I mean, John, what do you prefer in your CDM?

[00:07:26] A stronger weak foot or that extra skill move?

[00:07:30] Probably weak foot on the CDM, I suppose.

[00:07:32] It's not really the role I use to skill on.

[00:07:35] A ball roll is probably the best I do with a CDM.

[00:07:38] Yeah.

[00:07:40] I'm absolutely with you there.

[00:07:41] And as I said, role-wise, they're both very similar.

[00:07:43] Both have got deep-lying playmaker++ and holding++ for CDMs.

[00:07:48] And CM, sorry, they've got deep-lying playmaker rolls.

[00:07:53] So, again, nice rolls.

[00:07:55] CDM center half++ even.

[00:07:57] Oh, yes.

[00:07:58] You're all right.

[00:07:58] Sorry, Agate.

[00:07:59] Yeah, he's got the center half++ rather than the deep-lying playmaker.

[00:08:02] And as CM, he's a box-to-box plus as well.

[00:08:05] Yes.

[00:08:07] Honestly, pretty flexible cards.

[00:08:10] I'm not going to lie.

[00:08:10] I'm not going to do either of them.

[00:08:13] But that's basically because my CDMs are already, even if these gets upgraded better than these cards.

[00:08:19] And untradeable.

[00:08:20] So, don't see me changing around.

[00:08:22] But it is cool.

[00:08:24] It's good to have showdowns back then.

[00:08:25] And on the card this side, I'm just saying again, 10 out of 10.

[00:08:29] They just keep hitting them.

[00:08:30] Absolutely.

[00:08:31] And look, even if for now, again, and it sounds like we say this for every card now, think about evolutions down the line.

[00:08:38] But you remember how EA, towards the end of last year, was releasing showdown-specific evolutions as well.

[00:08:44] So, this might be a case of one of these cards later on being eligible for, you know, they had the showdown winners, SBC, sorry, evolution last year.

[00:08:53] So, might be worth doing one of those.

[00:08:55] But again, we just talked about it.

[00:08:57] If you compare the stats of Sissoko compared to either of these two cards, even with plus two, Sissoko blows them out of the water.

[00:09:05] But again, for the cost that you're doing this, doing either of these cards, again, I don't think you go wrong.

[00:09:11] You're not committing very much.

[00:09:13] I mean, the top-rated squad for Yagate is an 83-rated squad.

[00:09:17] So, at least EA, I think, are being slightly more self-aware of what's going on with players' clubs right now.

[00:09:24] Because I don't know about you, John, but I am finding that duplicate storage just reaching the top.

[00:09:29] And it's all with kind of mostly under 84-rated cards.

[00:09:34] Yeah.

[00:09:34] And the annoying part for me is I don't spend much time behind, like, if I have to go, so I'll play the game, right?

[00:09:41] So, when you do those, you have, like, now the 78 Plus double upgrades, for example.

[00:09:46] If I could just say, okay, select 11 players for my SPC storage, I would get rid of my storage easily enough.

[00:09:52] But when I have to enter them one by one, by one, by one, by one, I'm just also not touching my SPC storage because it could be me.

[00:10:02] But I'm lazy in the menus.

[00:10:07] Yeah.

[00:10:08] And look, the 78 Plus double came back tonight, as you mentioned.

[00:10:11] Fortunately, it's not the greatest of SPCs at this stage.

[00:10:15] I'm slightly disappointed that we've not seen a player pick.

[00:10:18] I would have thought by this stage we would have had a 1 of 2 or a 1 of 3, 75 Plus.

[00:10:24] But alas, not.

[00:10:25] I think it's 6 rares, 5 commons.

[00:10:28] It's...

[00:10:29] There's still not a great way to farm cards in this game.

[00:10:32] Yes, we've had the League SPCs out, which is great for me as someone that will every year go back to being a Bronze Pack Method player, as you kind of talked about in the last short show.

[00:10:43] But doing the premium upgrade is very difficult at the moment because of the Libertadores Sudamericana section of that.

[00:10:50] So, you kind of have to go, unless you want to spend kind of 25K Plus every time just on that SPC, you kind of have to go through the normal one.

[00:10:58] So, there's still not that way to generate loads and loads of fodder to keep going through this.

[00:11:02] So, yeah, I'm a little bit disappointed with the upgrade.

[00:11:06] How are you going to do those hero and icon SPCs then, Daniel?

[00:11:15] Well, again...

[00:11:17] Well, look, I did the 88 Plus last week for the hero upgrade and ended up with Ludwig Julli, who's okay, fine, does a decent job.

[00:11:25] But again, he's not very long for this game, you know, another three or four weeks, he's definitely going to be left behind.

[00:11:30] I already just prefer Chloe Kelly to him, to be honest.

[00:11:33] And I've seen lots of bad pulls from both of these SPCs, both the hero and the icon SPC.

[00:11:40] Look, at the end of the day, if you don't buy a ticket, you don't win the raffle.

[00:11:44] If your team is in a good position and you are really at that point where, you know, only a top, top player is going to boost it, you can make the argument to go for it.

[00:11:55] But if you're somebody that's got quite a lot of holes in there, do you really want to waste, you know, in the case of the icon SPC, nearly 400Ks worth of fodder to potentially end up with a loud drop or a Crespo?

[00:12:11] Wasn't it way cheaper the last time this SPC hit?

[00:12:14] It was.

[00:12:15] It was 87.

[00:12:15] Yeah, it was.

[00:12:17] But this does bring into a lot of better icons, you know, you can get the likes of Gareth Bale in this one.

[00:12:23] So I can kind of see why it's gone up.

[00:12:26] Yeah, fair enough.

[00:12:27] The last time we, I distinctly remember, we had 24 players and I think only seven were worth less than the SPC cost.

[00:12:35] I didn't do the maths on this one, if I'm quite honest.

[00:12:38] But by the looks of it, it's 40%.

[00:12:42] That's less.

[00:12:43] But just quick estimate, just right now.

[00:12:45] Yeah, it's 75% downvoted on Footbin as well, which kind of shows you the community.

[00:12:48] And I watched a couple of pack opening videos and I said the pack weight that I saw was not very good.

[00:12:55] And so, again, if you've got, if you have been saving up loads of fodder and you really are just hunting for those very, very top tier icons, just, you know, why not go for it?

[00:13:05] But be prepared to be disappointed as well.

[00:13:07] I think the hero is slightly better value.

[00:13:10] This is just actually, it's just a refresh of the one we had the other day and that's half the price.

[00:13:16] So 200k, a lot more manageable.

[00:13:18] And there are a lot of good heroes, again, that you can get in there.

[00:13:21] Yeah.

[00:13:22] So, yeah, I mean, look, it's nice to have both options out there.

[00:13:25] And again, with things like duplicate storage and the amount of objective players and things that we've been getting,

[00:13:31] you've certainly had the chance to build enough fodder to do one of these.

[00:13:34] But I've got that suspicion, John, that a really nice big player is going to be on the way because EA likes to do this.

[00:13:42] They like to get you to empty a club's worth of fodder before launching something good because we've not had a single icon SBC out yet.

[00:13:49] No, so that was my guess.

[00:13:51] Yeah.

[00:13:51] That's exactly what I'm thinking.

[00:13:53] They're not releasing two icon SBCs in three weeks.

[00:13:56] They're not releasing two times the hero SBC in two weeks and not get something everyone wants to do quickly enough.

[00:14:03] Exactly.

[00:14:04] And look, so they're there.

[00:14:06] If you do want something a bit more guaranteed, there have been two low-cost strikers released as well over the past few days.

[00:14:11] You've got Serug Jurassi, who's got a moments card for a lobbed goal, for a chip shot even, against Darmstadt.

[00:14:18] And his overall performance in the Bundesliga last year, it says.

[00:14:22] He's got an 87 rated card that will cost you 75k to do.

[00:14:27] Again, John, this is a really nice card.

[00:14:29] I mean, he's got chip shot plus, but I think chips in this game are absolutely garbage and have been garbage for the last two versions of FC.

[00:14:37] You can certainly, you can score them, but they're nowhere near as potent and reliable as they were in FIFA's past.

[00:14:46] In my own experience, as someone that does tend to go to the chip shop far too often anyway.

[00:14:54] Yeah, like, not bad.

[00:15:00] It's pretty cool.

[00:15:00] I do like the good design.

[00:15:02] I thought it was an evolution card, if I saw it the first time.

[00:15:05] Yeah.

[00:15:06] Which made me like, oh wait, that's actually an SBC.

[00:15:09] Meanwhile, I'm putting it on screen, of course.

[00:15:11] It's a fun card, but I think every Bundesliga good striker currently has chip shot plus for some reason.

[00:15:18] So, could also be a Bundesliga thing.

[00:15:21] Yeah, I mean, again, look, four star, four star.

[00:15:24] The pace, not brilliant.

[00:15:26] The pace split isn't great with 80 acceleration, 87 sprint speed, but the finishing is pretty much where you want it to be.

[00:15:31] 91 composure is really nice as well.

[00:15:33] Got decent heading.

[00:15:35] The reaction is 89, where you like them to be.

[00:15:38] Even the aggression, which maybe should say slightly lower, 76, is still more than workable.

[00:15:43] I mean, you are going to have linking issues because of the Guinea nationality if you're not running a Bundesliga side.

[00:15:51] But, I mean, I just like having all these options, John.

[00:15:54] Again, I can't.

[00:15:55] In years past, we might have seen this card come out and it cost you 250,000 coins.

[00:15:59] Exactly, yeah.

[00:16:00] And for this, it's just like one of those, okay, you know, the same we just talked about with Sissoko and some of the other guys, the highest rated squad on this is an 84.

[00:16:08] So, if you are at the end of your, you know, SBC dupe storage, why not submit and get this card, even if it just ends up being fodder later on?

[00:16:18] And exactly the same for the other striker that's been released, who I think is the better option.

[00:16:23] I think if you were going to do one of the two, John, I would definitely be doing Mr. Jonathan David.

[00:16:28] Yeah, but I want to say one more thing about Kassi.

[00:16:31] Yes.

[00:16:31] He is 187 centimeters, 6 foot 2.

[00:16:36] He's got 90 jumping with almost 90 heading accuracy as well.

[00:16:40] Don't forget that secret weapon he has.

[00:16:42] Even as a super shop, it gives you something else.

[00:16:47] I mean, you don't need to tell me twice about lumping balls into the box to find the big man.

[00:16:53] I am a fan of lower league English football.

[00:16:56] So, that is kind of inwritten into my DNA.

[00:16:58] I never cross, but I had this, like, part of this job is looking at multiple point of views.

[00:17:04] So, yeah, I'm glad you make that sacrifice for us.

[00:17:09] I wouldn't do.

[00:17:10] You're here to consider us less cultured FIFA and FC players, so I appreciate that.

[00:17:17] But Jonathan David, again, the much better.

[00:17:20] He's always been a decent card in this game.

[00:17:23] 86 rated.

[00:17:24] He's got a five-star weak foot, which is always great at this stage of the game.

[00:17:28] Only three-star skills, a slight.

[00:17:30] And he's not, if you compare his finishing and his shooting stats to Jurassic,

[00:17:35] there is a little bit of a drop-off on that.

[00:17:37] But not to the extent that he's unusable.

[00:17:40] The only real things that let this card down is the aggression at 60.

[00:17:44] Other than that, Jon, just a really nice card.

[00:17:47] Again, maybe Canada.

[00:17:49] It's not going to be the easiest card to link,

[00:17:51] but there's plenty of league and McDonald's cards that you can get.

[00:17:54] Yeah, but this card is one of the first, like, false 9++ cards.

[00:18:00] Yes.

[00:18:01] And if you then look, if you play him as a false 9,

[00:18:04] so a striker that draws back to get the ball and build up from there,

[00:18:08] then with his sprint speed, with his ball control,

[00:18:11] with his first touch, actually could be really good,

[00:18:16] especially when he has the first touch on the ball control as well.

[00:18:20] Yeah.

[00:18:21] Again, that's what makes this card interesting for me.

[00:18:24] Yeah.

[00:18:24] It's a card that I've always liked.

[00:18:26] Again, the low overall racing should help him get into an evolution somewhere down the line.

[00:18:33] Although...

[00:18:33] Don't want to waste this card design, mate.

[00:18:35] Oh.

[00:18:41] Well, I don't know.

[00:18:45] I mean, hopefully they give us more cosmetic Evos.

[00:18:47] I mean, they've released that whole thing and they really hyped up cosmetic Evos before the start of this game.

[00:18:51] So we'll have to see.

[00:18:52] I mean, we get this new season, don't we, on Thursday.

[00:18:54] So my suspicion is we might see a few more cosmetics come out then.

[00:18:58] But yeah, again, just a well-priced card.

[00:19:01] Exactly the level it should be.

[00:19:03] It's not a must-do, but it is a great...

[00:19:06] It's not a must-do, but it's an option for you.

[00:19:10] I definitely agree.

[00:19:12] Cool card, nevertheless.

[00:19:17] I've got to admit something.

[00:19:19] Something has never happened before in food in my life.

[00:19:25] I saw a level 39 item and I was like, I need that purple card on one of my players.

[00:19:33] And, you know, I don't care about the menus.

[00:19:35] I never, ever, ever in my life hit the maximum level in season.

[00:19:40] Because I only, I just play rifles, right?

[00:19:42] If I happen to get some XP done or SP as they call it here, perfectly fine.

[00:19:48] I am 400 SP short of hitting level 39.

[00:19:53] So I might actually hit level 40 this week.

[00:19:57] Do you know, John, what I'm going to say to you and I will say to everybody else.

[00:20:01] You're proud, right?

[00:20:01] Yeah.

[00:20:01] I am very proud of you.

[00:20:03] But also, I think the very, there is a very easy way to get that last XP.

[00:20:08] Because they give you SP now for other modes in the game.

[00:20:12] And I was initially a bit like, I'm not going to go into another mode to get SP.

[00:20:16] That'll be, honestly, just look up the guide for getting SP quickly.

[00:20:22] I think you literally just create a manager career.

[00:20:24] I think you press about three buttons and it gives you about 1200 SP.

[00:20:30] So I'd very much recommend it.

[00:20:33] And especially considering EA are trying to flog this pack with a thousand SP in the store.

[00:20:37] If you attempted to do that, please don't.

[00:20:40] If you haven't done them already, I said you get SP for things like manager mode, which is the other name for career mode.

[00:20:46] And again, it will literally take you, I promise, no more than two minutes.

[00:20:51] Then I will hit level 40 tonight.

[00:20:53] And you'll hit level 40 tonight.

[00:20:55] Straight away.

[00:20:55] No stress.

[00:20:56] So yeah, if you are after those last few points, you can do so.

[00:20:59] A couple of other ways to reach it as well.

[00:21:01] They have just released a, or re-release.

[00:21:04] I'm not sure it's technically a re-release.

[00:21:05] The One Nation Cup is back in objectives.

[00:21:09] We've had this before.

[00:21:10] One Nation Glory is back again.

[00:21:14] And again, there's some nice packs available.

[00:21:17] An 83 by 5 for the overall.

[00:21:19] There's an 84 by 2 in there.

[00:21:20] An 83 by 2.

[00:21:21] An 82 by 3.

[00:21:23] Most people were just playing golden goal in this last time.

[00:21:27] And there's a thousand XP for scoring 12 goals in this game mode.

[00:21:30] There's also a thousand XP for winning 10 matches as well.

[00:21:36] So again, if you have gone through your rivals games, you're looking for something to do.

[00:21:40] This is out there.

[00:21:41] I did think, you know, EA promised that friendlies were going to be less sweaty.

[00:21:44] When I did this cup mode last time, it was a lot less sweaty for me.

[00:21:48] So if you have been a little bit burnt out with the hype and competitive modes, maybe this is one for you.

[00:21:55] The other thing, and I, you know, I've buried the lead here, John.

[00:21:59] I realized we're already in danger of this becoming not a short show, but a full show.

[00:22:05] So evolutions are back.

[00:22:07] And I am so, so happy about this.

[00:22:10] And they communicated about it.

[00:22:12] Yes.

[00:22:12] The fact that it was broken.

[00:22:14] Yep.

[00:22:14] They communicated there was a problem with certain evolutions that they had released and basically admitted that for some, there were no fixes to it.

[00:22:22] So they had to wait.

[00:22:22] I think it was the Canon was the last one they had to wait to expire.

[00:22:26] And rather than just no drip feed evolutions out credits, we, they released a load at once that they had been holding back.

[00:22:34] So I think we've had five released since that, since the gate came open on Monday on Saturday.

[00:22:42] Sorry.

[00:22:42] And it's done two things.

[00:22:44] It's really great.

[00:22:45] My love of the game.

[00:22:45] We're not going to go through them all because there are, as I said, there are five different ones to go through, but it's also helped crash the market in a rather big way.

[00:22:54] Um, you may have noticed if you just happened to have logged off and, you know, you went away for the weekend or whatnot, and, you know, you'd bought a couple of gold cards or whatnot, even promo cards or icons.

[00:23:05] I've got bad news for you today because the chances are you've seen a significant chunk of value wiped off your cards because there are so many nice options available to put into one of these various evolutions that people are just ditching cards.

[00:26:20] And of course, there are lots of centre backs as well that fit into this evolution.

[00:26:23] People like Nathan Ake, for example, lots of people are going out and doing.

[00:26:26] Again, considering they don't tend to allow two play style pluses until we get to team of the year last year.

[00:26:36] So if you were to put a card into an evo now, the chance of you being able to put a different and get a different play style plus on it,

[00:26:45] So just have a think about if that is the play you want.

[00:26:49] I mean, that is why I think cards like Yudogi are probably the best to go and put in this evolution,

[00:26:54] because they will just keep up with the meta enough for you to use them for a couple of months,

[00:29:34] Second option is to just qualify better and stay in front of them, stay away from them.

[00:29:41] But still, it wasn't fun and still their mistake.
