[00:01:12] I got to like 30 points, I think it is, for the rivals rewards in like two one and a half to two hour sessions of playing the game last week.

[00:01:28] And then it took me the entire weekend to get me the remaining 15 points.

[00:01:35] And although this extremely sucks for you, there's something we've proven by doing this experiment.

[00:01:42] DDA does not exist.

[00:01:44] Oh no, DDA doesn't exist. If it did, it would help me at some point.

[00:01:49] DDA does not exist.

[00:01:50] Or if it exists and it exists in a different game mode, it doesn't exist in foot.

[00:02:34] But we'll finish on that note, because we also got a mini release.

[00:03:32] Interesting to see is I think he's tall.

[00:03:35] He's got a winger plus on the right midfielder, a winger white playmaker on the right midfielder, and a white playmaker plus, of course, on the left midfielder.

[00:04:02] I think he'd be, certainly for my team, he's a Premier League player, so he slots in.

[00:04:09] My team is broadly Premier League and Serie A, so yeah, he fits for me.

[00:04:17] I like him. I think he's reasonably priced for what he is.

[00:04:20] I think having relentless is nice.

[00:04:22] That's a play style that I really like because I'm not very good with the substitutions yet.

[00:04:30] So the longer they can last, the better for me.

[00:04:34] Generally speaking, that's always a good thing, but...

[00:04:37] Yeah.

[00:04:38] A pretty interesting card though.

[00:04:40] I think his dribbling stats for such a tall player are pretty impressive.

[00:04:46] 95 dribbling, 87 agility, 86 balance, and 88 ball control, and the dude is 6'1".

[00:04:57] Pretty quick as well, 86 pace.

[00:04:59] That's not too slow really, is it?

[00:05:02] No, and you can see that most of the community doesn't exactly know where they want to play this card.

[00:05:08] Because if you look at his community voting chemistry styles applied,

[00:05:13] 20% gives him an anchor, making him more of a defensive role.

[00:05:17] With 74 defensive, I can see if you put him on midfield, an anchor makes sense.

[00:05:23] But 21% puts him at a hunter to make more attacking.

[00:05:27] Yeah.

[00:05:27] You don't see that too often either.

[00:05:29] So that's pretty interesting fact.

[00:05:31] Yeah, he's super balanced, isn't he?

[00:05:33] Yeah, except I think his defensive awareness just lacks enough to make him actually viable as a defensive midfielder.

[00:05:39] That's why his ascending midfielder might make more sense.

[00:06:32] So he's easy to slot into probably a lot of players' teams, I thought.

[00:07:02] This card fits that role.

[00:07:03] I just wish he had a role on a center midfielder card as well.

[00:07:08] Basically, you do him a little bit short selling if you put him.

[00:07:11] But 50k might actually just be worth just doing him.

[00:07:15] I get 99 players on my SBC's backup team now.

[00:07:22] So it might be worth trying him.

[00:07:24] I tell you where I do think he would be extremely fun.

[00:10:04] But then I saw he's almost 300,000 credits to do.

[00:10:09] And I was like, you know what?

[00:10:12] Paying 280, 300,000 for a three star weak foot striker or left midfielder, because if you want

[00:10:19] anything with this card, honestly, you could put him as left midfield.

[00:10:24] Maybe he could cross, but he can't actually cross because he's low vision and low crossing.

[00:10:33] I don't think this is a very good SPC to do, James.

[00:10:38] But luckily his play styles, oh wait, he doesn't have the play style plus either.

[00:10:41] So I, I, for me as somebody new to the game, I look at this and I just think 250 to 300k.

[00:10:53] Versus like 60 to 7k, 60 to 70k for Cole Palmer.

[00:14:00] aerial fits in with my style of play at the moment, which is just cross the ball to the

[00:17:43] like it needs to be a rare card, for example, meaning you couldn't do, uh, chaining.

[00:17:48] You couldn't change them with another evolution, which makes it hard.

[00:17:51] But yesterday, James, yesterday, well, took the crown.

[00:18:38] What is your general stance on evolution before I talk about this extremely disappointing evolution

[00:18:46] Uh, I've only either one card so far and that was Verna with the ultimate player Evo from

[00:18:56] the pre order.

[00:18:57] And are you still playing him?

[00:18:59] Yes, I am still playing him actually.

[00:19:06] Um, he does surprisingly well for me for his rating.

[00:19:09] I think he punches above his rating is he's 82 rated overall.

[00:19:13] I know that doesn't necessarily paint a full picture because it depends on his other stats

[00:19:19] and play styles and stuff like that, but I enjoy him.

[00:19:23] Uh, the only thing I'm a little bit annoyed about is that I missed out on a slight Evo chain

[00:19:27] that I could have done with him that would have made him slightly better.

[00:19:31] Um, and if I'd have done, I can't remember what the first step was, but if I'd have done the

[00:19:35] first step before applying then the, uh, the ultimate edition Evo that we got, uh, that

[00:19:46] I could have made him slightly better, but because I did the ultimate edition evolution

[00:19:49] first, I can't now apply the other one.

[00:19:53] Uh, so I kind of stuck with him as he is.

[00:19:55] Um, so that would have been nice if I'd have known about it because I could have had a go

[00:20:00] at doing an Evo chain like that.

[00:20:02] And there seems to be a few of them, but me personally, because of that experience,

[00:20:06] I'm a little bit reluctant to use them in case I would use them in case I waste them basically

[00:20:11] because, uh, I don't want to end up Evo in a card that I then regret using that evolution

[00:20:19] on that card.

[00:20:20] Cause it might've been better on a different card or there might've been a chain open up if I

[00:20:25] I'd used it on a different card.

[00:20:26] So I kind of, I kind of have like reverse FOMO basically.

[00:20:59] Spent pretty decent amount of time doing that.

[00:21:03] Yesterday they came out with the, um, great Gooty evolution.

[00:21:09] Um, nice description brings a player closer to the heroic playmaker of Gooty experience,

[00:21:15] unmatched vision and passing as you conquer the patch like a true hero.

[00:21:25] So to start as evolution, James, it's more expensive, um, than the card that we just talked

[00:26:01] I wouldn't mind, I wouldn't mind seeing, I mean, I, my, my problem is some of them,

[00:26:06] like I just said, is that you already, you already have to pay quite a bit of money, which

[00:26:11] I mean, to be fair, 65K is not a lot to some people in the game, but 65K is a lot to some,

[00:26:17] to probably quite a lot of the player base.

[00:26:19] I'd imagine.

[00:26:20] It's a good coin.

[00:26:21] Certainly your average players, that's a lot of money or a lot of coins.

[00:26:26] But to have to pay that amount and then jump through so many hoops, like I said, I think

[00:26:31] that's a problem.

[00:26:31] And I, I, the hoops that you have to jump through aren't particularly enticing.

[00:26:37] Like I'd like to see an evolution that is cheaper or free where the first stage might

[00:26:47] be, like the first evo might be play some squad battles, like play some squad battles,

[00:26:51] semi-pro to get you warmed up with the player.

[00:26:54] And then the next step might be now, now win some evo or play in some evo, sorry, some

[00:27:02] rush matches.

[00:27:04] And then the final one might just be, you know, play squad battles or rush matches, but

[00:27:08] just so you're not just doing the same thing over and over to get a play through.

[00:27:11] Because that's the one thing I found.

[00:27:12] I did some, I did like two evolutions last game and I did that one on Werner this game.

[00:27:19] And it was just repetitive is what I found is there's nothing engaging about doing an evolution.

[00:27:25] You just turn your brain off, stick some music on Netflix on or whatever on in the background

[00:27:30] and just grind out some squad battle games.

[00:27:33] There's nothing, there's nothing else to it.

[00:27:37] Get some assists, score some goals, whatever it is, play squad battles and that's it.

[00:27:40] And it's, I don't, I feel like they could be way more inventive with them.

[00:27:46] Or less limited to make it more great.
