[00:01:25] pick for whatever reason was putting that MLS into one of the three slots all the time. Nick Runn the Footmark it was running a poll on his feed on his stream earlier.

[00:01:30] Around 25% of those people that answered, there's around about 1000 people said they

[00:01:34] had got messy in their picks and bear in mind this is one of the biggest streamers around.

[00:01:40] If you extrapolate that around it seems, but also makes it very unfair. And I think the unfairness is like, you know, me, but now I dislike cheating the most. I dislike unfairness the most. I can't stand in justice.

[00:03:01] This feels like messy.

[00:03:04] It's pretty much a cheat code if you know how to use them.

[00:03:07] I've said that last week before I looked at it and when

[00:04:25] you pull a team of your message through a player pick you want to take your time before you select This is got one you're like, no, there's something wrong here. Goes on X right away. See there's a problem. And that's really diluted it for me as well. People go, oh, look at poor dress. It's only got a 10-year mess and he's upset about it. But actually it spoils it because I thought it was excited. This is the best of a pick that I've had in the whole time I've been playing FIFA from the very first game that came out with EA. All stars.

[00:05:40] Unbelievably excited.

[00:05:42] And then you look at it and actually, I'm disappointed

[00:05:44] because my good friends like John there didn't get a chance.

[00:05:46] These guys been driving the game. want to play this anymore. This just isn't fair. And like you say, it's coming on the heels of Sony mistakes. And look, we've seen something similar before. This will kind of lead us into what we expect to happen. A couple of years ago, Jayden Sancho was popping out of everybody's. Do you remember the guaranteed ultimate team in the season pack? Everyone was seemingly getting Jayden Sancho, who at the time was one of the most expensive players

[00:07:01] you could get. We also had the situation with one of the foot champions player picks at the incredible base pally as well Because they got something that wasn't advertised in the pack and generally that is when EA hands up compensation when you get something that's not advertised in this particular scenario Everyone saw 386 plus messies and I should say as well Not every single person that opened this pack before 20 past six got a messy as well. It said it

[00:08:21] I don't know what's worse though. Not being able to open it or being able to I know

[00:09:24] 30 maxes because there's just no way stopping that cart if you know how to use and compare to the players that were currently playing. They see the power curve is a little bit higher,

[00:09:28] but the thing of the year arrives. So hopefully that's sort of compensated, but I think that's

[00:09:34] the biggest issue. The problem is, even if you give everyone a team with the emissi, the same

[00:09:38] problem exists because you can't really defend messy with messy either. So the best for the game

[00:10:42] server like three hours ago and give everyone a rerun. But that's not fair either, right?

[00:10:45] So this is just something you can't really come back for, I think.

[00:10:50] And you're in lose half the community saying I'm done now, because we'll see that as well.

[00:10:54] People that didn't get to do it, for example, or cut golds one.

[00:10:56] We saw the next stream tonight.

[00:11:00] You either get people that say if you take away my messy, I'm done, which makes total

[00:11:04] sense as well, because, well, we didn't see a blue this week for most people.

[00:12:04] drop to drop rates on the MLS, I suppose.

[00:12:09] But the moment they put out an 86 player pack, now I would think they are scamming it and I wouldn't even try to do it because you definitely will not

[00:12:13] get an MLS pick.

[00:12:14] I don't know, man, it just feels broken.

[00:12:16] It feels bad for 50% of the community, at least no matter which side you roll.

[00:12:21] Yeah, the problem being that the genius at the bottom, like you said, I think a

[00:12:24] server rollback might be the only way the game. Some people will get Virgil van Dijk, some people will get the 700 rated female CDM.

[00:13:41] That's the only way you can make it better.

[00:13:42] This is the chance for EA to try and get some trust back.

[00:13:46] I mean, the glass was already smashed.

[00:13:47] There was, you know to listen to this show live. We've got people talking, we've got Artium, he's saying, I've taught this John before, I don't think there's a good solution for this mistake, it's done but they will definitely lose more players. Now, and Adam says, Grandpa Mac is bang on, sadly he's in Vancouver, no chance to do

[00:15:01] a, sadly he's not in Vancouver, so no chance to do that they can actually make a bad solution a lot better. I think John those has made the big point even if you gave everybody that you've wrecked the power curve. You've wrecked the power curve already. The power curve has wrecked. It has wrecked at the moment. That's where we are. We're at that situation we're actually, it's broken guys. I'm sorry the power curve is broken. So how do you

[00:16:23] make it better? You need to give people a chance a big part of the audience. And I think maybe you said 80% did it, 75% did it. So a next stream at one in four. So only only 25% of people said they got a messy. I think a thousand people have voted on it when I saw it. So again, if you should play that, let's

[00:17:42] say one in four people got it, maybe one in, let's say, one in five, 20% chance to get that team of the year messy. That's an insane big difference, right? I don't think you can make it up for it. I think we're not facing currently the issue of facing season. And end of January to May in team of the season was an awful time in last year's game because no promo was coming out that even like Footbirth, they which is usually a power curve boosting promo, didn't they take a dent? And all you saw was the same cards going up and up and up and up and up.

[00:20:20] The only thing I could say from EA's point of view

[00:20:21] we talk about fairness, Chris, is that if this is a situation

[00:20:26] where, and bear in So look, team of your messies going to make a big difference to me. I'll still get 9 wins a weekend league of a qualified. I can't really use those type of players. So for guys like me,

[00:21:40] Messy wouldn't have been the one I'd have really liked,

[00:21:42] but I'm thankful I've gone.

[00:21:43] But how do you make people stay in the game?

[00:21:45] This is what the worry is.

[00:21:46] If you will look at it and go well,

[00:22:43] to keep it. Because I'm keeping it profoundly friendly here.

[00:22:50] You know what? This problem is people have grinded this like for months, saving thousands of pegs before starting this, right? For no return. Then people have spent thousands, maybe chasing

[00:22:56] team of the years in pegs, like real life money. They are the messed up hero pack, if you remember that hero pack that was in FIFA 22? Well, it might even mean last year. They accidentally released a last year, a tradable hero pack for what? 25k? The people that got it got to keep things obviously. Now, the one suspicious thing with that pack was that a lot of the players suddenly

[00:24:25] disappeared from the market because the market media channels out there. As I say, they have to do something. I think this as John says is game breaking and they have to

[00:25:44] do something to make it right. Yeah, we could they come out with a banging, I think it's, I think, road to the final, it might road to the final, it might be next. So that's definitely, that's never banging. So said, I wish that they would be doing things more with the community in mind, but they are beholden to the almighty dollar. That is what they will go for and they will be calculating right now.

[00:28:22] PR damage is going to be done by this versus the financial implications of whatever

[00:28:27] and the various routes that we've taken. I mean, if you packed one of those norm legendary heroes, if I put it mildly, it wouldn't even matter. And even if he, like there weren't many solo specks, for example, or alicoma, alginola, for example, right? But same with genolized, he's damn good guard. But if you don't know how to play the game, it won't do you much good anyways.

[00:29:40] And I think there's still a lot of people that,

[00:29:43] even though they get good cards, still don't get the most out of the game.

[00:29:46] So don't be demoralized by facing him. that little bit better and people were seeing more honorable mentions and people were seeing even if people were seeing Mary Earps a bit more in their packs. The anger here would be less but I think Chris hit the nail on the head. It's pouring petrol on the fire because so many people are already annoyed that they can't get a team here and they've done everything they could possibly do short of spending thousands of pounds to get them. There are people that
