[00:01:02] episode 596. It's early in the morning so pretty content time I have downwind bush always known

[00:01:07] as Wimby, I am joined as always by my partner in crime, the main man Shack Attack. We've got

[00:01:13] lots as always to get into today as EA starts a minute to game in the right direction.

[00:01:18] Certainly on the menu side of things we have had an abundance of content more content than you

[00:01:23] can shake a stick at but there are still problems and we will get to those including a record

[00:01:29] breaking store pack released and the implications of that. We've also got some problems with the

[00:01:35] gameplay that people are still suffering through and our age old frustrations around skill-based

[00:01:39] matchmaking, lack of relegation and lots more. There's a market crash going on as well so it is

[00:01:44] fitting that I am here with the guy that I co-host the FUT and review trading show with in Shack.

[00:01:51] Shack my friend the market is in flames but how are you? I'm doing fabulous especially after

[00:01:56] my the mighty man United's FA Cup quarter finals. I couldn't be happier, I'm a scrappy game,

[00:02:02] I have to sorry Liverpool fans, I really feel for you guys but give us this one.

[00:02:08] That was a game for the ages and ready one at the weekend as well we beat Cambridge 4-0

[00:02:13] and whilst much like the market our club is in flames off the pitch, fingers crossed,

[00:02:19] we survived as a football club. But anyway enough of the on the field football stuff let's talk about

[00:02:25] the off the field stuff and this game at the moment Shack there is so much content I do the show plan

[00:02:30] every week and it's almost half of page of SBCs and objectives to talk through. I don't want to

[00:02:35] really get into it all because I think again there is if we were we would literally hear

[00:02:39] for about three hours show but just overall since this program has come out what are your feelings?

[00:02:44] I sort of said to John when we're titling this show that I think it's a step in the right direction

[00:02:48] and I think this is on course potentially it might be actually the best promo we've had this year.

[00:02:53] Oh it's been a fabulous promo I think one of the things that we're noticing is that the number

[00:02:58] of cards and also the quality of cards that are being released is incredible I think if you just

[00:03:02] banded back to the mini release the mini release had two swine stigas had it in in Boothrogueno

[00:03:08] card just as an addition to the already crazy cards that we got over the weekend so look the

[00:03:14] number of cards the variety of cards even within like the five star week foot cards the five

[00:03:18] star skill most cards just so many cards and packs and also there's a lot of pack fillers which are

[00:03:24] really high rated because how many times have you packed that level lady this since Friday a huge

[00:03:31] and a number of times so it's good in that regard I think there's a lot of things there's a lot of

[00:03:35] stuff that you can literally keep grinding this game and getting some cards in complete SBCs

[00:03:40] and it's just a ever evolving grind which is brilliant I think content wise knocked

[00:03:44] out of the back since the Black Friday promo this is probably my favorite promo this this year

[00:03:51] yeah and the good thing about this is that it's not just menu grinding content

[00:03:55] that we've had you know if we had spells in the past we've had great even to couple of weeks

[00:03:58] give me a great menu content but when you add in the evos that've come out in the past few days

[00:04:03] you add in the interesting objectives like with this the Patrick's Day material that we've had

[00:04:08] as well plus you throw in all of your regular bits and pieces there is there's something to cater

[00:04:14] for everybody you know if you have any interest in the menus you are fine if you like gameplay you're

[00:04:18] fired you want to try out new players you're fine yes we could maybe do with something like a

[00:04:22] a refreshable cut mode and things like that and there are still as I mentioned at the top of the show

[00:04:25] lots of issues still around lack of relegation and things like that but I think it's a step in the

[00:04:30] right direction I think EA could quite easily have taken away a lot of the upgrade grind for this week

[00:04:36] and focused everyone on driven them to the store but whilst I'm not happy with what they're doing in

[00:04:41] this store I think they very much showing that you don't have to go down that route and it's got

[00:04:46] to the weird stage you know I like thinking myself as someone who's on top of this game more than most

[00:04:50] I host a show about it every week I still don't know half the players in this promo they seem to be

[00:04:55] adding players all the time they're just kind of hidden away I pulled Kimpyne out of a pack yes

[00:05:03] they had no idea he was even in the promo team so I think it is a good thing and they talked about

[00:05:08] it on Friday as well there was a lack of leaks as well I think it was kind of added to the

[00:05:12] example we've not really known what's coming but at the same point EA putting out that little road map

[00:05:17] has also been helpful because you're not caught by surprise you know we knew that things like

[00:05:21] McAlele were coming but that's in a good way when you know like A specific SBC it's coming out

[00:05:27] without you know knowing every single player I think that the leaks not coming out it's actually

[00:05:33] helped with the hype of this particular promo I know the team got released about six or seven hours

[00:05:37] before the actual game in game release but I think it was released from a reliable source in the

[00:05:42] census game from the Daily Mirror or what Daily Mailer one of the one of the newspaper as the

[00:05:46] mirror the mirror there you go and I think this is something one of the things that EA has realized

[00:05:52] this is just my tin foil hat theory is that they realized that they could actually monetize

[00:05:58] this content and if you notice the amount of work that mirror had done on that content they actually

[00:06:02] made videos and they probably had a lot of people swarming into their clicking into their links

[00:06:07] their articles and stuff based on the content so content release so going forward I think they

[00:06:11] will start bidding this content out at different outlets and they'll be a lot of bitters and it's

[00:06:16] much more seamless it's much more controlled it makes me a lot more sense I think it's quite

[00:06:20] a sense it was a really sensible move it takes the likes of all the leakers that we know it takes

[00:06:26] them out of business but who cares as long as it as long as we're not getting content released

[00:06:30] a week before the promo I think it's fine if it was a couple hours before it's fine I think that's

[00:06:35] completely fine I don't know would we would like that straight up six pm you know check what's

[00:06:40] in the store check what's check what's being released but couple hours before I'm okay with it

[00:06:45] yeah I don't even think it's going to be a financial consideration for EA like I don't

[00:06:48] think the mirror would have been paying them for the information but I think the benefit for EA

[00:06:52] is if you get all this information out in the mirror it's going to reach a wider audience than

[00:06:58] foot share a Twitter account if you're following foot share if you probably already need deep in this

[00:07:03] game and you're probably in whereas if you're on the mirror maybe haven't been playing the game

[00:07:07] for a while you've been drifting away maybe just you know you're not listening to a podcast like

[00:07:11] this perhaps but you'll see it when you're looking at your football news you know you're looking for

[00:07:15] you know you know thoughts on what Eric Ten Haggis said about the Liverpool game and then it'll say

[00:07:20] wow EA have dropped to the other foot and then you'll be interested oh that looks cool maybe

[00:07:25] I'll pick up EA maybe I'll pick up this game again yeah that's I think where the strategy is

[00:07:29] in going out to a wider outlets rather than having this information just so narrowly monopolized

[00:07:35] I very much get the feeling that EA are aware that the players are dropping off from the fringes of

[00:07:42] this game I think a lot of the strategies that they've used as I said the good menu content

[00:07:48] it all seems and the that player feedback portal for example all seems to me to suggest that um

[00:07:55] I think their light bulb was gone off with some of them going hmm we might need to do a little bit of

[00:08:00] work around the edges just to keep and draw in new people I think you know we saw the the

[00:08:06] sales figures they did release and that they were down slightly on FIFA 23 although they

[00:08:11] revenue was up but I think for a longer term healthy game you do need to keep as many people engaged

[00:08:17] as possible because they will come a point where if your content and stuff you know you stop

[00:08:21] attracting those whales that spend hundreds and thousands of pounds on the game and they drop off

[00:08:27] you've not got that casual base to fall back on so I like to think this is a way of EA acknowledging

[00:08:32] that maybe they've gone too far in one direction um and a sort of circling back towards a more

[00:08:38] middle ground but uh that's from a used to be seed and not just in this game but FC 25 and beyond

[00:08:44] let's move in then to some of this content that we are you know giving thumbs up to a trio of icons

[00:08:50] is probably the big thing that people are debating whether to do Shaq we've got Claude Maccalaille

[00:08:54] who's got a brand new foot berthay icon socrates also with a foot berthay icon and they've also

[00:08:59] released the future stars Roberto Carlos Carlos at 1.8 million socrates at 1.6 million

[00:09:06] at Claude Maccalaille in comparison a bargain at 820k I'm going to be completing one of the three

[00:09:13] at least maybe two at Claude Maccalaille is almost done for me um then Carlos will be on the agenda

[00:09:19] but not socrates I mean out of those three who are you tempted by oh look I really think the logical

[00:09:26] move would be Claude Maccalaille because he is a really good quad card it's he's a guard that you

[00:09:30] can't really get through this through any other way apart and he can easily grind to 800k or to get

[00:09:35] him done completed and he's like one of those exquisite midfielders that's uh low the low attacking

[00:09:41] and high defensive which is I think can't tell is the only one that comes to mind that I've had a

[00:09:46] card that with low attacking work rates and he is uh I think he he last year I used him and he's

[00:09:51] exactly like can't take but a better version of can't take who could pass better than can't take

[00:09:55] with that back then but he's if I could grind I probably would get the Claude Maccalaille done because

[00:10:00] he will lock your CD in position all the way through through dots easily easily a Carlos like look

[00:10:07] he's a beautiful card really nice card but the only trouble is we have so many leftbacks we have so

[00:10:12] many leftbacks that I really can't see myself grinding for 1.1 million for for an SPC that I probably

[00:10:19] look he he will do a better job than Davies I guess he will do a better job than Rolfo and

[00:10:24] Sam Regarde but I think he's a bit too expensive I mean he's a lot of grind for me and Socrates is

[00:10:30] a very very very interesting card I really wanted to do him but again I'm holding myself back because

[00:10:35] I'm running out of fodder doing all these daily upgrades and trying to do the icon S player pick

[00:10:40] and all those things I don't really have too much fodder left in my club and it is going to be

[00:10:44] a grind and I don't know if I have it in me to grind for 1.6 million coin card yourself

[00:10:50] all right so it said MacLeod he's almost done I used his loan in Diff 2 rivals last night thought

[00:10:55] he was brilliant that can't take comparison very apt I think he's just very well rounded already

[00:11:00] gets across that pitch so quickly and he's got that strength to win the ball yeah the passing

[00:11:04] range isn't great if you put it in front of Galway's probably not going to score very often but I

[00:11:08] think for that price is very very solid I think it's just a fact that a CDM isn't glamour

[00:11:13] it's you know it's not a it's not a showpiece I don't think that that position will win a

[00:11:18] loose you games I think there are lots of players that can do similar in an issued job but for me

[00:11:23] it's handy because the icon links as mentioned I pack campaign based or it helps me get those

[00:11:28] French links and Carlos for me is the same I very much agree with you you know you got the likes

[00:11:34] I've got a role foe I've still got a bachelors knocking around as well do I think he's a massive

[00:11:40] upgrade on those cards probably not but I think the links is going to help I love that the

[00:11:45] dead ball play style plus as well banging into three kicks with him adds again that fun factor so

[00:11:50] and with the menu growing just the way it is at the moment I think for me it's just one that I'll

[00:11:54] just slowly grind towards and then again I think that's your left back slot locked up into a team of

[00:11:58] the season and all we started getting players with three play style pluses I didn't love his base card

[00:12:04] I thought the physicality wasn't there however all of the reviews and stuff I've since suggested

[00:12:10] this card really kind of fixes those issues so I'll at least as I would advise anybody I'm going to

[00:12:15] get the loan of that Carlos card done first try them out for five games in rivals where people are

[00:12:20] less likely to quit and I'll hopefully get those five games out of the way because if I use them

[00:12:24] in like playoffs with all due respect most of the the opponents you play in playoffs the games

[00:12:30] are over one way or the other very quickly you'll get someone super high level that's mashy or

[00:12:35] running to players that maybe not quite the level you're at and you know you pick up a fairly easy

[00:12:40] victory so I'll probably use your in rivals to test him out Adam who was on of course on this show

[00:12:45] a couple of weeks ago he has written in a question and I'm going to read now just a little bit

[00:12:49] related to Socrates if you'd like to try it Socrates I'm sure how I feel about his prize but just

[00:12:53] wondering if he's as good as I think he is I love him he's a unique beast and banged me 18 goals

[00:13:00] and 17 assists in my 16 wins this weekend league also is the new Kajardo massively overpriced

[00:13:07] or is it just me also turns to do him as I need a new writeback we were circled back to Kwardrado

[00:13:12] very shortly but I mean you mentioned now interesting Socrates is I've used Socrates cards in the past

[00:13:18] I used to love his finesses me and my friend Steve who dragged me back into this game still to

[00:13:24] this day talk about will we play one cop game and he scored literally a hat trick of finesses from

[00:13:28] outside the box just a really really good card but it is tough isn't it shak to commit such a

[00:13:34] large amount of coins to a player that you're not fully sure about look I think all Socrates

[00:13:41] Socrates had to do was have a position in alternative position as a CM or a striker or something

[00:13:48] that I could consider like oh yeah I can fit him easily into my squad right now I have to change

[00:13:53] things around and if I change the formation that means after drop someone else out of the team

[00:13:57] to fit Socrates and I'm still contemplating it but I don't really the price is not

[00:14:03] not the I don't think he's overpriced I just think he's expensive and it's a lot to actually

[00:14:09] grind to get him done but a five star five Socrates is really tempting me I'm just looking 90

[00:14:14] 90 pace 91 shooting 92 passing 93 dribbling and 85 physical it's a really good card five

[00:14:21] stuff I've said it's just a it's a feature for guard I'm not surprised at a dharma likes this

[00:14:26] card it's just a it's it's a nice interesting card really interesting card I was just going to say

[00:14:32] I think he's the kind of card that if you have a specific gap for a player like that it's

[00:14:37] it's dense the charts do go and do but that price but I think you hit the nl head about the effort

[00:14:42] of going through and grinding that player the you're you're just not sure about like if you don't

[00:14:47] operate with a cam is that really going to be the best use of your resources and so they're dropping

[00:14:54] players daily but I mean that's a glowing review and Adam knows his stuff so again if you are on

[00:15:01] the fence about it I mean you certainly trust Adam with you know his ability level he will get

[00:15:05] the most out of a player like that that has that five star five star but well if you're using him in

[00:15:13] your setup you'd be perfect in your the three midfield setup where he's your attacking sentiment

[00:15:19] I think that would that be right I think so I play 442 he just I can't blame with the striker I don't

[00:15:27] really think I'm comfortable with him as the CM so that's why I'm struggling to actually I'll have

[00:15:33] to change things a lot of things to actually fit him in yeah I mean it's tricky I mean I literally

[00:15:37] when we're coming to a formation review later but I've just switched to a foot I'm sorry guys I've

[00:15:41] gone to the dark side it's gone to a 442 and in that setup I'd be like you with a 442 again

[00:15:47] it's where do you put socrates in because he's not going to be by no my CDMs he's probably not

[00:15:53] going to be great out wide he's not as I've got messy as one of those wide cams at the moment

[00:15:58] and he's obviously much more nibble and agile exactly but it's a blessing I think you could get

[00:16:04] away with him as a striker I think especially if you're not someone that is relying on a lot of

[00:16:09] through balls I do think you could play him I think he would work fine next to someone like a

[00:16:12] team over there or a faster striker like a bad pay would I play him with your sabio maybe not

[00:16:21] because then you don't have that kind of dynamic pace option but I think he's so good in again

[00:16:26] that 5.5 if he gets he's going to score chances and he's going to create chance as well so I think

[00:16:31] it's a player that you would find a slot for him but again it guess that's what you just said

[00:16:37] do you want to go through all of that effort and spend all of that fodder on a player that you're

[00:16:41] trying to crowbar in I'm not so sure exactly exactly it's a beautiful guard though it's I'm just

[00:16:48] trying to fault this guard apart from the position I think everything else is he's just five stuff

[00:16:54] he could be a general a general light because he's got the skills that he probably I don't think

[00:17:00] he's ever had a five star skill card before so that's the part that's really tempting me and it

[00:17:04] look at 60 days if you land upon some fodder I think this might be one for the collection if

[00:17:09] you'd grind towards it just as a collector's item he might be fun yeah and again do the load

[00:17:14] and I said I think any of these three will do a very good job in your team I think Maccalailly is

[00:17:20] obviously that the lowest risk I think it's always good to have that DM option I had been using

[00:17:24] keen who is going to be my player for player review and spoiler alert I think Maccalailly is better

[00:17:30] than Roy Keane I think there's a reason why one of them is 150k and the other one is 800k so yeah

[00:17:36] I would very much endorse Maccalailly but I'll be talking about Keane a bit later let's get to

[00:17:40] then to the other player that Adam mentioned his question Wang Kudrado a card had a lot of height

[00:17:46] before it got released shack but I think again we look at the price point and I think that's putting

[00:17:50] a lot of people off just over 500k to complete this card at the moment he is five star five star

[00:17:57] is that price is it a price that you think is worth it for this kind of player look where would you

[00:18:02] want to play him at the right back he's got a low defensive work rates so once he starts charging

[00:18:06] upwards even if you have stay back on attacking he will still just start to drift forward and then

[00:18:13] once he gets caught in the no man's land at the halfway line and action happens behind him you will

[00:18:18] automatically start dragging his center backs out and you will be caught out in your box so

[00:18:23] look for the price I know we all love a quadrado card and we always try to get a quadrado card for

[00:18:30] about 200k we just get from the store or we just buy from the transfer market 500k it's collector's

[00:18:37] item unless you're playing one of those formations that's five at the back or three at the back with

[00:18:43] you know those midfielders three four one two or something like that where you have four midfielders

[00:18:47] and he's your right midfielders that will do a defensive job otherwise yeah I think he's slight

[00:18:53] he's he's real a price for what he is but again that's just my opinion they could be completely

[00:18:57] wrong but happy to be proven wrong yeah this is a player again I've loved using quadrado cards in the

[00:19:04] past but you do have those nightmares with that low defensive work rate that you will get caught out

[00:19:09] and offensively going forward as well you think okay well maybe I'll try him out as a winger

[00:19:13] but the finishing just isn't there for me the composure is a bit low for this type of the game as well

[00:19:20] and even his passing stats are good but they're not elite I've seen some people suggesting okay maybe

[00:19:27] you play this as that position you talked about a minute ago if you're playing that four three two one

[00:19:31] he could probably do a good job as that sort of attacking more attacking midfielder then there are

[00:19:37] better players for this role so it goes back to exactly what we just said about Socrates do you

[00:19:41] want to go and spend the money for a player you're trying to crowbar in for the sake of it or is

[00:19:46] this a player you need I look if you're playing um I think this player might be perfect if you're

[00:19:50] running a five back and you need a proper attack if you've been hanging on and using something like

[00:19:55] a Darmotry ore for example I think this is a natural upgrade on a card like that but would I trust

[00:20:01] it when you can go and get cards like Pedro Poro Malina so cheap and even Kaffee still around

[00:20:08] complete as well I think I'd rather take any of those three than this quadrado card just as a

[00:20:12] pure right back anyway yeah exactly I think the interesting thing is he's got anticipate which is

[00:20:18] not not not the plus because the regular anticipate which is interesting for him to have and that

[00:20:24] actually adds a lot of value to me for that for that card but his playstyle plus is slide tackle and

[00:20:29] that kind of annoys me it's his playstyle plus was either jockey or if it was um any of the other

[00:20:35] ones bruiser or any of those we could probably still make it workable slide tackle is the only defensive

[00:20:40] playstyle plus and he's got a whip pass which is probably the only thing I'm looking I'm considering

[00:20:44] him as because he's got a whip pass but yeah still it's too this is expensive and I think all the

[00:20:49] price as well yeah and again if you want to work fast again Malina Poro lots of other cards out there

[00:20:55] have got it um to do it and again with a 73 strength and quadrado as well he does get in that

[00:21:00] position where he's getting jostled he's only five foot nine uh five foot ten average Alina as well

[00:21:05] the heading accuracy 74 probably going to be losing a lot of backstick confrontations as well so

[00:21:11] but look I don't want to overly uh poop on this card because it is a very good card yeah I think

[00:21:17] it's just at that price range where it's a little bit more than oh I've I've got a couple of

[00:21:21] jupes so I'll complete it I think you know you have to commit a decent chunk of resources and when

[00:21:25] you can do this and I think this is a good time would you rather do this would you rather do the

[00:21:30] icon pick that was released this week the the 87 plus that doesn't include base icons the 88 plus

[00:21:37] 88 plus sorry yeah I'd rather do the icon icon pick although my results of the icon pick

[00:21:43] have been that great but I would still do the icon pick again if I had to yeah I think I'm with you

[00:21:48] although I'd say that I haven't done that icon pick yet because I'm going to get Maccalaille

[00:21:52] done and starts so that's work on Carlos because they are two specific positions that I think I

[00:21:57] have a need for I have a need for an icon there and as much as it would be nice for me to get a

[00:22:02] winter world card roll let's be realistic about the options you're probably going to get

[00:22:06] on the usable side of things that I listen lots of people get like Zola, Rale,

[00:22:11] cars like that they just don't make my team so therefore I'd rather wait and put the resources first

[00:22:17] into actual players then move on yeah you're a very smart man so I had the same choice of considering

[00:22:23] Maccalaille or the icon pick I went down the icon pick route and I packed myself a storage

[00:22:28] up so I'm not really thrilled by it but that's I live by my decisions yeah look I think it's

[00:22:37] I'm not saying don't do this as a gamble because I think again you take out all the base icons

[00:22:41] you certainly got a decent chance in the haps and you have since a big pulls from it and I think

[00:22:44] was going to mention that as well just in general and talking about the content at the moment is

[00:22:48] I've actually been pleasantly surprised with the pack weight not just because I've been incredibly

[00:22:52] lucky and got five million coins with the players this week but watching on stream the amount of

[00:22:58] bullets I've seen the amount of really top tier cards I've seen people pulling don't get me wrong

[00:23:03] it's not it's not the mid glitch messy pack kind of pack weight but it's more what you would expect

[00:23:09] you would expect to see every you know 2030 set of we can leave rewards somebody getting a beast

[00:23:18] as opposed to you know you'll watch a 25 minute or ZO or Nick pack opening video and you won't see

[00:23:23] a single good player in it instead you're seeing through your four good players in it which I think

[00:23:27] is a bit more towards what the QEMC accepts and something to keep you going you know you don't think

[00:23:33] these players don't exist because you actually see them in the wild so I've been pleasantly surprised

[00:23:39] with that and let's move on then there's a few other cards to get done of course there's some Patrick

[00:23:44] Steve objective is open gets you I think four players I think if you go through it all maybe in five

[00:23:50] just for playing the game great combined with the evos that we'll talk about later on

[00:23:54] we've had a couple of showdowns out even though the showdown series is over but they are still

[00:23:58] releasing them we've got one from the WSL that we've been super league here in the UK and the key

[00:24:05] to Paris against Layla Wahabi I apologise I have to pronounce your name incorrectly Manchid Night

[00:24:11] play Manchid City in the WSL this weekend Manchid City are the stronger of the two teams on paper

[00:24:18] and again that would mean Wahabi it'll probably be the player you most want to do from a result point

[00:24:23] of view Shaq but the key to Paris is actually probably the better of the two cards and that's reflected

[00:24:28] in the fact that she's 30k more exactly yeah she's a good looking card I think but I don't even

[00:24:37] with the upgrade if you actually get them to my squad only one play style plus it's yeah

[00:24:46] it just it just feels like one that this is one that's much more on the okay if you're in a

[00:24:52] United person present or if you've got a few extra jups and there's nothing you want to do it's

[00:24:56] only two squads to complete it it's an 86 red squad and an 85 red squad no informs required so

[00:25:03] over the course of growing in those 82 by 20s you could put coins in there five star four star

[00:25:07] for the key to Paris but again one play style plus at this stage in the game and it's first touch

[00:26:56] the benefit of these they do have two play style pluses although Miguel Almeron has Flair as

[00:27:02] one of the play style pluses which I think we can unanimously agree is the most pointless one

[00:27:07] Benton Court does look better he does have two very good play styles that you would want in a CDM

[00:27:13] in that he's got bruiser plus and tick attacker so that looks probably the superior of the two cards

[00:27:19] and Tottenham are actually the favorites to win this game as well Shaq.

[00:27:23] I look I really like this Benton cook card because he's got everything you would like he's got

[00:27:27] the bruiser the tiki daca as you said he's got the five style week foot he's got the medium attacking

[00:27:33] high defensive so he could be a perfect CDM I think he's got everything and if you have the

[00:27:38] fodder available it's not much I think it's just 146 yet two squads to complete

[00:27:43] it's worth it I think if you just want to try if you're running a spurs past the present

[00:27:47] or you're running a spurs team I think I've come across quite a few spurs teams in week and league

[00:27:53] I don't know about you it's maybe it's the team advantage the team effect

[00:27:58] and in my region it's probably the angi effect as well we have a lot of spurs fans in

[00:28:02] in Australia right now because of engine yeah all bow to him so it could be I think

[00:28:06] it will have been time call I think he's yeah he's quite an interesting guy I might just get

[00:29:18] game but he could be photo price but he's kind of fun as well I think it looks interesting looks

[00:38:57] games of rivals to play games are squad battles and again some people will still be annoyed because

[00:39:03] a lot of evos don't fit in this not been a lot of effort defenders for example but again i'm

[00:39:09] a big fan of what they're doing although again two hundred thousand coins for one of these evos

[00:39:13] is a little bit toppy it is a bit expensive for that and i think even i've been excited to get

[00:39:19] these evos done for example there's i think there's an evil way you can actually upgrade rash for

[00:39:24] there's an evil that you can upgrade baron i'm looking forward to getting these done just as a collect

[00:39:28] desire to just put away and just at some point do a pass in prison man United squad just to have fun

[00:39:33] with so that part i'm looking forward to but yeah i think from an evil content it's really interesting

[00:39:39] because as soon as you had the rant then as soon as you had the rant literally the next day onwards

[00:39:44] EA will start pleasing you with evil content which is great it's amazing for people like you

[00:39:49] but it was just literally how wrong called exactly it's two weeks ago right now it was you just

[00:39:56] completely going off at EA while the evos and yet the very next day it was evil evil evil tonne

[00:40:01] and the evos have been the content has been great now this is one of the things right now half

[00:40:06] the reason as you said the markets also getting impacted is because of the fact that evos are so many

[00:40:12] evos to get done and these evos look like pure quality so yeah it's really it's really interesting

[00:40:18] times right now yeah the only thing and again i'm gonna have to be nitpicky it's just a monatron

[00:40:23] that it's the secret stuff one is the one you're talking about that i think rashford fits into

[00:40:27] it costs 200,000 coins or a thousand fc points but you have to play i think it's 20 games

[00:40:33] to get this done and i'm sorry if you're paying out right make it quick like i can understand three

[00:40:41] evos have you know the tradeoff is okay it's free but we're gonna make you play a lot for it

[00:40:46] don't make somebody that's paid for all for this to have to go through that kind of a long ride it

[00:40:50] just it doesn't really seem to compute with me but overall i can't say enough good things about

[00:40:55] this it's great the only shame is that i'm not the biggest fan of this car design where do you

[00:41:01] sit on this on this car design not the biggest fan but i think to be fair i dislike the actively

[00:41:10] dislike the other evo one that we had for example the one that you put the short on cars in

[00:41:14] i don't i really don't like those evos the design looks really bad i would rather have this design

[00:41:19] as a port of that one but yeah still not not ideal it would be nice and again this is the kind

[00:41:25] of thing that EA could put very easily into the store that i think that will go down really well

[00:41:29] with the community i think there should be an evo same way they've done with the red picks

[00:41:34] just put other car designs of shells available in the store so you can have

[00:41:40] whatever evo you want in whatever style you want if you want it to be the team of the

[00:41:43] year car design great if you want it to be the centurions design great and again i get i've got no

[00:41:49] problem paying 50 000 coins for that or even 100 fc points or whatever that's that's kind of

[00:41:56] guaranteed content i'd like absolutely i'm completely with you and can i just say something really

[00:42:01] stupid for a lot of people if EA provides dynamic images just just a skin just a dynamic image that

[00:42:09] i want can put on the cards that i want the cards that i own i'm happy to be for it i'm really

[00:42:14] happy to be for it i love that stuff and this is the kind of but that's the kind of micro transaction

[00:42:20] that i'm i've got zero problem with in just gaming in general in life in general if you're paying

[00:42:25] for something that you know exactly what you're going to get you you want it for that reason

[00:42:30] and it's unlockable either through game you know real world currency or game currency go nuts

[00:42:36] and put out whatever you want i don't to this day understand shack why they don't have like a massive

[00:42:42] store of man United retro kit Liverpool retro kit and everything and again that is to me it's

[00:42:49] a much better way for them to be making their money and another revenue stream following then maybe

[00:42:55] they can ease off on the casino so but look i don't want to this to give them three ideas here

[00:43:07] like mostly that the game is a popular with micro transactions is that you just get a skin

[00:44:25] because i've been trying to evo athenia athenia or however you pronounce her name and she starts

[00:44:31] as my right wing and the amount of times that she messes things up and i have to bring her off and

[00:44:39] put someone else back in and that whole momentum it takes me a while together momentum going by the time

[00:44:44] I get this the sub done and come back in sometimes i forget to do this up and one of the the bits

[00:44:50] of the evolution that i was stuck at is i had to score i had to win by a two gold margin so i score a

[00:44:55] goal athenia is in the squad i got a rage quid doesn't count so it's just i'm not really enjoying

[00:45:01] doing these things in champs or in rivals and it's really is affecting my gameplay so i'm really

[00:45:06] considering but again i'm trying to stay away from squad battles as much as i can so i'm struggling

[00:45:11] there but it does affect your game that i honestly believe it affects your game you have a

[00:45:16] option i know i absolutely agree with you i think especially for the objectives that are like

[00:45:20] score x goals or assist x goals i would always advise people just to get those objectives knocked

[00:45:25] off in as few squad battles as you possibly can because the other downside is and i do most of my

[00:45:29] evos through squad battles unless the objective is play x games in rivals and champs but i think

[00:45:36] john has touched on this point in the past is that the more you go into other game modes like squad

[00:45:40] battles and friendlies and things like that the more it will impact your competitiveness because

[00:45:46] again the a i behaves in a much different way to a regular player you start to pick up bad habits

[00:45:52] again you know because you can spam more through balls and get more luck playing it's you know poor

[00:45:56] teams on squad battles rather than having that sort of you're not in that groove of playing

[00:46:02] you know top level opponent so yeah i do think absolutely um and Adam says in the chat he's doing

[00:46:09] some Patrick's day objective just now not touching squad battles it's a grind i feel your pain man

[00:46:14] um but to those people again and i i appreciate that Adam and i appreciate what your sad check

[00:46:19] i'd also just say to people do you really need to do those like again don't do you really need

[00:46:28] to do it in yet is she really gonna get into it too do you really need any of those some Patrick's

[00:46:33] day cards now if you are i've desperately scraping together every single card you can for an sbc or

[00:46:39] that maybe but otherwise like john says like he just doesn't do it and it doesn't affect him so i

[00:46:45] think again if you try to be at the top of your game maybe it's just worth leaving him alone

[00:46:49] can i just tell you what a thinnier um i came back from my holiday or whatever trip the time

[00:46:55] away from the game the holiday from the game game back in the second of march put the game on the

[00:46:59] first game i played was against a squad that her a thin air a five star five star a thin air

[00:47:05] and she just completely destroyed me and straight away i started the evil way uh two weeks on

[00:47:13] still haven't completed the evil now i've done so much that i'm stuck whether i continue or just

[00:47:18] leave it and i'm going away to feed you in a couple of days time and i'm not really sure if i should

[00:47:22] grind before i go i just let it last that's where i'm stuck it is tough and that points out the

[00:47:28] a four by ten than the main rewards and reason you're doing it but again there's there's so much

[00:47:33] fodder out there again we're getting three eighty two times twenties at the at the moment you don't

[00:47:39] okay i understand the lure in the appeal of it but again if it's going to throw off your game

[00:47:44] or it's actually making you you know not enjoy games as much just don't do it just don't do it

[00:47:50] because i said if that was the only place you could ever get an eighty four by ten and it was a

[00:47:55] rare once in a lifetime opportunity once the game time opportunity great you know if it was a eighty

[00:49:48] anol with chuckle block with midfielder's but if you're really really really considering sour you

[00:49:53] started sour and you're wondering whether to go ahead with it i'm still loving her absolutely

[00:49:58] loving her yeah available for another four days she expires on the 23rd which i believe is sat

[00:50:02] a again has those two playstyle pluses play styles that have been really boosted as well with this

[00:50:07] recent winter update spring update sorry in that the press proven and bralentless her playstyle

[00:50:14] both things that got the bralentless got a little bit of a nerf but it's still more important

[00:50:19] to think than it was yeah and press proven even more important than it was the card still gives me

[00:50:24] nightmares the amount of time this card will just make that run into the box and score a goal for

[00:50:29] somebody is so annoying against me someone that didn't complete this card so i have to endorse it

[00:50:36] on that basis i'm just going to very quickly my thoughts on Roy Keen Keen a player i absolutely

[00:50:40] loved watching gerry out watching football in the 90s loved his passion his heart i still love

[00:50:46] his punditry now so for that reason it was a very sentimental pick up bought him for about 250 he's

[00:50:52] of course dropped to 150k now because the entire market is inflamed very good very solid does everything

[00:51:00] nicely the tackling is obviously fantastic decent strength the passing is better than you think

[00:51:06] it would be the pace is what i think lets this card down it's just not that quick off the mark

[00:51:12] and for that reason alone is the reason why i've gone for a more sort of nimble agile midfielder in

[00:51:17] mccalei but i think again for 150k i don't you can go wrong if you are looking for that cdm you've

[00:51:23] got a preem team you're an old you know you're an isolated fan this card will definitely not let you

[00:51:27] down i'm talking about the difference between i'll probably give keen maybe 8 out of 10 and mccalei 8

[00:51:33] 8.59 out of 10 so it's again that whole nitpickiness of when you have got a very top top tier team

[00:51:39] as i'm lucky to have at the moment it's those very small margins and that's just the reason and i should

[00:51:44] say as well i was using the five star or weak foot version of keen which is the more expensive

[00:51:48] than the two and again why you would want a five star skill move Roy keen i'm not sure

[00:51:52] just for the lulls maybe but yeah i get a good pick up and if you pack him in your untradable

[00:51:58] give him a go i think he'll be pleasantly surprised i think the five star skills one is slightly
